The three figures are the Norns (or Time Keepers) who are deities in Germanic mythology and are responsible for shaping human destiny. Their names are Urðr (past), Verðandi (present) and Skuld (future).
The Norns also care for and protect the Yggdrasill (the worlds' tree") which stands at the center of the universe and connects the nine worlds (Asgard, Vanaheim, Alfheim, Midgard,Jötunheim, Muspelheim, Nidavellir, Niftheim and Helheim)

Yes, I agree. In this song the reminiscence to the old, pre-Christian Nordic mythology is unmistakable. The three sinister, faceless figure definitely don't stand for the Grim Reaper but rather symbolize the Norns, (Old Norse 'Norns' - the Murmurers) are immortal female figures, sisters, who sit at the foot of the Yggdrasil world ash tree on the banks of the Urd River and spin the thread of fate for all creatures. Their names are Urd, Verdandi and Skuld... Urd (what was) is the namesake of the river and has the form of an old woman who always looks over her shoulder behind her to the past. Verdandi (what is) has the form of a young woman, which stands for the present. Skuld (what should be/will be, or guilt) is an ambiguous figure and no friend of men and gods. The Norns spin the thread of life for each person and if the thread is cut at the end of the allotted period of life, the person dies. In Germany there is an old saying that is still used today that is reminiscent of this ancient belief. "his life is just hanging by a thread".

No not Death, the three hooded figures are the Norns three Sisters aka The Time Keepers, The Time Weavers and The Time Spinner's.
They come from ancient northern European beliefs and have a almost identical function as the Roman/Greek Fates.
Very basically they represent Past, Present and Future they lead through our lives from start to finish.
The concept of a Personification of Death The Grim Reaper or King Death came about in the Black Death and is based on the biblical description of The Archangel Azrael the Angel of Death.

I really love this song. And the video. Time is strange to me, always has been at all ages. So this song speaks to me in a particular way.
It matters where the video is uploaded from. In Germany, the censorship rules are different but because I'm uploading from India, my video could get blocked for "nudity". It's ridiculous I know but each country has a subset of RUclips guidelines. As a creator, I don't want my video blocked just for one second of footage.

hey mate thats not straight up "Vagina" - this one is called "giving birth" - one of the MOST normal things in Life ;)
My interpretation and thought was time goes on like a continuous cycle and those rare occasions when we are truly happy of course we want time to stop. The showing of the sand and hourglass ⌛ time keeps going and them showing the scenes reversing to me meant a desire to go back in time either to the moment of birth and start our lives over or to before we're even born saying no i don't even want to be born i want to go back before i was even conscious of my own existence and mortality. Them being blindfolded to me was no one knows whats going to happen in the future we don't know what kind of lives these babies are going to have.
Another thing that came to my mind is the babies being put back in to the mother to be born again on earth and also coming back in a sense they died on earth and are now being born in the other world and their birth or rebirth on earth is them already starting to die because as soon as your born your dying..your dying to live or as Rammstein put it "Wir sterben weiter bis wir leben" "We keep dying until we live" because in a sense what we perceive as dying is us actually being born again into the other world that's why the girl in the end seems happy when she dies because she knows that her death here means her being born over there..if that makes any Sense? This is art at its finest 🥰

It isn't prudishness. As a creator my video could get blocked for "nudity" it's ridiculous, but RUclips could age restrict or block my video because of where I'm uploading from (india) as opposed to where the original video is from (Germany). Each country has different RUclips guidelines for what you can show. I'm not gonna risk it for just one second of footage.
Nowhere in the video do you even come close to seeing a vagina. It's strange to censor birth scenes, as well as the reaction is absolutely ridiculous. Nothing more than a baby is shown.
