    Zane is one of three bodybuilders who beat Schwarzenegger in the bodybuilding competition, and one of the few winners at Mr. Olympia who has such a low weight.

      @ Sergio Oliva defeated Arnold at the 1969 Mr. Olympia contest, winning his third consecutive title
      . It was the only time Arnold was defeated on a Mr. Olympia stage.

    I m working out in old school way for more than 20 years. I m 52 now and in great shape. In all those years I saw big monstets who laughed when they saw this kind of gentle workout. Where are they now? A lot of them have injuries, others have health problems because of the drugs they took.
    The old school way is the best way for someone who want to last long. Thank you so kind for this precious document with the great Franck Zane (my favorite with Steve Reeves).

      John Don it is a fantastic machine...I remember back in about 90 or 91 I kept bugging they guy that owned the gym I trained in to get one, he told me to use cables or dumbbells for pullovers... I persisted...he got one and thanked me because he loved it...Nautilus actually made a compound machine it was a pull over with a built in pull down Pre-exhaust with the pull over then go right into the pull down. They had the same for chest and quads too...awesome machines. I grew a big back drug free on it...decent chest too

Frank is a class act!!

    You know what I like about this legend I've never actually met him . Even kn a video . Only seen glimpses of him posing on stage but this guy's actually really smart with excercise selection he's not a meat head with good genetics only . And he encourages you by saying what you do right . And still helps you without making you feel discouraged and being overbearing with the coaching . He's balanced with positivity and his coaching advice I can see why you like him .

    I love it. You don’t always have to throw around ridiculously heavy weights.
    This is strategically building muscle using control, hitting the muscles at different angles, making exercises more difficult not just trying to do more reps with more weight.

  • @tylerscott2116
    @tylerscott2116 Год назад +1

    Frank Zane is got to have the single most desirable physique in all of bodybuilding. His actual body looks like a batman suit. It's as if he used the principles of bodybuilding and the development of each muscle by training each part of the body as well as different qualities of the muscles as a avenue to get into peak physical conditioning rather than merely be a mass monster.
    I honestly think the trajectory of bodybuilding went the way of mass monsters because that's easier than the pursuit of a complete physique with total body proportion and individual muscle development concurrently.
