X-Men: Days of Future Past is a 2014 American superhero film based on the fictional X-Men characters that appear in Marvel Comics. Directed by Bryan Singer, it is the seventh installment of the X-Men film series and acts as a sequel to both 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand and 2011's X-Men: First Class. The story, inspired by the 1981 Uncanny X-Men storyline "Days of Future Past" by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, focuses on two time periods, with Wolverine traveling back in time to 1973 to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants. The film features an ensemble cast, including Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Ian McKellen, and Patrick Stewart. Simon Kinberg wrote the screenplay from a story he conceived with Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaughn.

He was the best didn't seem frightened or angry, just curious and amused at Quicksilver and even raised his eyebrows at Magneto confession of killing the president. I wouldn't be surprised if he figured it out that Magneto was Quick's father before either of them.

I love how impatient Quicksilver is in the elevator, really puts a realistic touch to his powers.
In the comics, in an issue of Avengers Academy, Quicksilver explains to one of the students (whose powers allow her to copy skills and physical talents rapidly, but also give her severe issues with understanding emotions and relating socially) how frustrating it is for him to deal with people who operate at normal speed. He asks her to imagine she's waiting in line behind a particularly non-tech-savvy elderly person who's trying to puzzle out how to use the ATM. To him, every conversation is as slow, mind-numbing, and frustrating as that, because he finds it almost impossible to slow down enough to experience the conversation at a normal human pace.

He doesn't realize who Quicksilver *is* but he does think back on the woman he knew about the right number of years ago and start to *wonder* about it. His train of thought gets interrupted by the kitchen scene, but it does plant the seed of the idea in his head.
