    Lamine Yamal scoring a wonder goal in the face of Rabiot after his childish comments it's just poetry

    • @StephenGamboa
      @StephenGamboa 2 месяца назад +126

      "We saw that he was a player who knew how to handle pressure very well. He has a lot of qualities. He is capable of playing with his qualities at club level as well as in major tournaments, without pressure.
      "Afterwards, it is always complicated to manage a semi-final in a tournament like that, but it will be up to us to put the pressure on him above all, not to let him feel comfortable and to show him that to play in a Euro final, he will have to do much more than what he has done so far."
      Nothing wrong/disrespectful/childish with his quote as far as I’m concerned 🤷‍♂️ Wonderful goal by Lamon’s Yamal…not only a beautiful goal, but a pivotal game changing goal on a massive stage. He stepped up huge when needed…and one could easily say that he “did much more than what he had previously done so far” by scoring incredible goal.

The mindset to continuously move and attack, his ball control, the fake move on Rabiot, his decision when to shoot, and the skill and curling precision from outside the box to defeat one of the best goalkeepers. This is a Spanish team without regular starters like midfield Pedri and defender Dani Cavajo. A sensational game! Wow!

You expect you can beat an high octane offensive, technical and fast pace Spanish team when you couldn't score a goal on an open play for the most of the tournament? You deserve to be eliminated with that kind of performance! Meanwhile for Spain, Congrats! Onto the Finals! 🇪🇸 Viva Espana!!!!

    Ah, Mbappe. A masterclass in sprinting aimlessly and botching open goals with an astonishing lack of composure. He might as well stop pretending to be a footballer and take his talents to the Special Olympics, where his sprinting skills can truly shine. Football, after all, involves more than just running around like a headless chicken and fantasizing about outpacing every defender.

      Oh, just wait for his legion of fangirls to jump to his defense with cries of, "B-bu-but he assisted France’s only goal!" as if that solitary assist somehow redeems his entire performance. They’ll conveniently gloss over the fact that, after that fleeting moment, their beloved speed merchant reverted to his usual form, ghosting through the rest of the game with nothing more to show than a single, lackluster shot on target. It's a pattern we've seen throughout the entire tournament, a masterclass in vanishing acts.

    Rodri and F.Ruiz were absolutely phenomenal today. Especially Rodri. My bet has always been on Spain. But sometimes I felt they would have crumbled against teams like france or germany. But then I remembered that they have Rodri, Carvajal, and surprisingly, F. Ruiz. These are players who thrive under pressure and make the best of it. Anything can happen in a final. But Spain will most likely lift this trophy. At the very least, they are the best team of the tournament. Such a breath of fresh air in this era of tactical defending football!

      I personally didn't like their (Spain) football in the second half. Never looked for the 3rd goal, never even turned to face the goal when receiving in the last third of the field. I don’t know 🤷🏾‍♀️ what was up w/ them this time around. I’m not giving excuses, I could tell the majority of them were worn down. Having only a week or two break before reporting to International duty is a lot. I think mentally and physically they need to rest. Especially Mbappé since he is changing countries!!

      I think the French side was worn out because of Mbappe. They all sprint up field to support him and then he takes the full defense on his own and then they need to run back to defend. Mbappe was brilliant with the first goal but then lost it and went into his own head and left the team out to dry.

      I think France can do even better given how loaded they are and will continue to be. Their attack is (and has been) very stale without Mbappe. He saved them from getting absolutely destroyed by Argentina in the final.
      They need more fresh thinking in their attack and not over reliance on counterattack and absurd overfocus on conservatively playing defensively so much.
