@@Zagirus You just don't know anything about football. You think Spain did not have a plan for him? They shut them him and France down good, leaving no opens spaces to run and dash. France on the second half tried to poke but failed to generate any meaningful threat.
While a 16-year-old performs a technical finesse wonder of a goal, the so-called "better than Zidane" and "Ballon d'Or contender" completely misses the target and lets his team down when they needed him the most. Extremely overrated.
Rodri and F.Ruiz were absolutely phenomenal today. Especially Rodri. My bet has always been on Spain. But sometimes I felt they would have crumbled against teams like france or germany. But then I remembered that they have Rodri, Carvajal, and surprisingly, F. Ruiz. These are players who thrive under pressure and make the best of it. Anything can happen in a final. But Spain will most likely lift this trophy. At the very least, they are the best team of the tournament. Such a breath of fresh air in this era of tactical defending football!
Lamine has been the best player this whole tournament. Every pass is on point, and usually beats his marker on foot. And most shots are dangerous, and today it was too much!
The way Spain controlled the game in the second half was just pure football. Didn’t always need to attack or even have the ball for the game to go their way. Deserved finalists.
I personally didn't like their (Spain) football in the second half. Never looked for the 3rd goal, never even turned to face the goal when receiving in the last third of the field. They were too happy wasting time after every simple contact. Had France scored (and it had chances) and tied the game then it would be a toss, when they had no need for that.
I’m a France 🇫🇷 fan, but I do have to wish the best to the Spain 🇪🇸 team and congratulations. This Euro was a bittersweet moment watching it. Our French footballers know how to play and score. I don’t know 🤷🏾♀️ what was up w/ them this time around. I’m not giving excuses, I could tell the majority of them were worn down. Having only a week or two break before reporting to International duty is a lot. I think mentally and physically they need to rest. Especially Mbappé since he is changing countries!!
I think the French side was worn out because of Mbappe. They all sprint up field to support him and then he takes the full defense on his own and then they need to run back to defend. Mbappe was brilliant with the first goal but then lost it and went into his own head and left the team out to dry.
France was not exceptional. They did not perform well. They did not deserve to be any where near the final or in a situation where they are raising the trophy. Spain deserves the trophy hands down. Also, it looks like letting in African immigrants is the only way they can stay competitive.
Deschamps has obviously won a lot but is he winning because of a consistently disproportionate talent advantage each match or actual real strategization? I think France can do even better given how loaded they are and will continue to be. Their attack is (and has been) very stale without Mbappe. He saved them from getting absolutely destroyed by Argentina in the final. They need more fresh thinking in their attack and not over reliance on counterattack and absurd overfocus on conservatively playing defensively so much.
@@alexandrel.9083 I think their attack looked stale with Mbappe too. He played almost the entire tournament and didn't score from open play, which is inexcusable for a player of his talent. I think he just had a bad tournament though.
Yes they did and could even have beaten Spain handily had they taken their chances. But they were really let down by poor finishing. Mbappe still was very sharp and exciting but again was let down by poor finishing.
Overall France has the best team, followed by Germany and Spain. On any given day they can beat each other. And they are also right now better than Argentina. Brazil are on a slight slump but will be back

Incredible goal by that 16 year old. The confidence he has at his age is CRAZY to take a shot from there in the Euro.
Congratulations to Spain. They'll probably be European Champions yet again now. Turns out defense isn't the only thing you need to win titles (looking at you France).
They were so used to defending, that they forgot how to attack.
Defense was solid for the tournament especially William saliba. I thought even though France attack has been bad in the euro I thought the mid also was not great and inconsistent.

France’s midfield was horrid bro. You guys weren’t closing downs spains passing. I blame Deschamps for this. only good thing France did was utilize the pace on the flanks to deliver a beautiful cross to kolo muani for him to finish
If you really look at their midfield it’s not all that talented. You need someone who sets the tempo, like Rodri, Valverde, De Bruyne, etc
I blame Dembele and Tchouamani.
I agree too. France midfield was awful. They got outclassed by Spain midfield. Spain midfield is way better and has been the engine and oil of Spain. 🇪🇸
My problem with France is midfield is not good. Don’t think Rabiot and Tchoumeni should start. No defensive responsibility and Kante was good but he’s aged out. Can’t expect him to recover all the balls on his own.

Ah, Mbappe. A masterclass in sprinting aimlessly and botching open goals with an astonishing lack of composure. He might as well stop pretending to be a footballer and take his talents to the Special Olympics, where his sprinting skills can truly shine. Football, after all, involves more than just running around like a headless chicken and fantasizing about outpacing every defender.
I swear that dude is overrated. His dribbling is legit at times but way too overhyped. M.I.A the whole tournament
Skying the ball like that at an open opportunity in crunch time is embarrassing. At least strike the ball on target so that the keeper has a chance to make a mistake
@@justadudeintheworldman.120
Oh, just wait for his legion of fangirls to jump to his defense with cries of, "B-bu-but he assisted France’s only goal!" as if that solitary assist somehow redeems his entire performance. They’ll conveniently gloss over the fact that, after that fleeting moment, their beloved speed merchant reverted to his usual form, ghosting through the rest of the game with nothing more to show than a single, lackluster shot on target. It's a pattern we've seen throughout the entire tournament, a masterclass in vanishing acts.

Congrats to Spain from Italy… They are by far the stronger team and they deserve everything
@@abelrodriguez4965They did the same thing against Germany as well.

😂😂😂😂 looking at Mbappe’s face !! Epic!
The whole of Africa is sad today! God bless Spain!

Crazy. France looked so good in so many ways this tournament, but you have to score goals.
