X-Men: Days of Future Past is a 2014 American superhero film based on the fictional X-Men characters that appear in Marvel Comics. Directed by Bryan Singer, it is the seventh installment of the X-Men film series and acts as a sequel to both 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand and 2011's X-Men: First Class. The story, inspired by the 1981 Uncanny X-Men storyline "Days of Future Past" by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, focuses on two time periods, with Wolverine traveling back in time to 1973 to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants. The film features an ensemble cast, including Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Ian McKellen, and Patrick Stewart. Simon Kinberg wrote the screenplay from a story he conceived with Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaughn.

This movie had more consistent physics for Quicksilver than the whole 6 series of the Flash

He threw a plate at the guard, if his speed and powers are to be believed consistent then he essentially threw a flying saw dish at him, beheading or cutting him in half.

Out of curiosity, I looked up how old they are supposed to be in this movie. Magneto was around 43 and Quicksilver was 18. Of course the actors' real ages are too close but story wise it would have worked.

Magneto and Wolverine have been enemies for a very long time, its basically ingrained into their characters except in a couple of story lines where they work together mutually.

I love how magneto’s instinct was to use the knives and save themselves yet quicksilver’s instinct was to save not only themselves but making sure no one gets hurt...their dynamic as father and son would've been so iconic if the X-men franchise had dug it

They have a really powerful mutant and then they chose to not put him on the plane to Paris.
the problem with speedsters is that the moment you include them in a story, you have to chose between not using them properly, or having boring plot that's resolved in a few seconds.
Also the only reason he came to rescue magneto was that they told him he would break into the Pentagon. For Quicksilver it was a sort of fun challenge for Paris I doubt they had anything to tempt him with.

THE REAL REASON Quicksilver doesn't hop on the plane with them is b/c he wasn't supposed to be IN THIS SCRIPT.
FOX / Brian Singer were making this movie...when they heard Feige / Ultron were going to introduce QUICKSILVER for the first time in a CBM... and then they found out, thru a loophole... BOTH the MCU and FOX could use QS... so they shoehorned him into THIS film... to BEAT the MCU and Ultron, ha ha.
And MANNNNnnn this QS is GENIUS, while the MCU's was meh.

I really hope they make a movie about him and I would love to learn more about him and find out what is his kryptonite becasue until now the only people who have beaten him was the Egyptian god and Jin becasue they were able to see around as fast as him I will not count that as a weakness

I feel like the ending was the best scene. Quicksilver gets to see in full detail, how each one of them is, more so than just physically. Wolverine is solo, claws coming out, ready to fight. Then you have Charles trying to control Eric, and Eric ready to use his powers. The way each of them reacts in 1 second, slowed down.
I'd have said that he's more trying to prevent Eric from doing even more evils but yours is a good observation

@@quinnlim5104 It's perfectly in character, or more specficly, a direct result of what's happening in the scene. Even though they have just met, they are clearly not on very friendly terms, with both acting cold/aggressive. Even if Magneto can still take on Wolverine easily in this form (as shown later in the movie), the comment is part wishful thinking / part joke about his own powers from Magneto.

@@logan_wolf why is it fan service? it's just a nice little detail, because Wolverine uses his claws to keep Magneto from taking the news paper. Magneto says that because "i would shove them up your ass if they were metallic" since Wolverine and Magneto apparently aren't really fond of each other. I don't really think it's fan service to have Magneto express a snarky little comment about how he would fuck Wolverine up if he had the tiniest bit of metal on his claws. It's also not really the first time they "foreshadow" something, for example Charles' comment on "being bald soon" in First Class when everyone knows that he will be bald in the future
If the music was playing at a normal speed, it means Quicksilver is not just fast, he actually has the ability to slow time.
Then why the hell is is running on the walls? If it was slowed down there would be no G force on his body to run on walls.
It wasent the song was also sped up it played 1 or 2 mins or so of song in the 2 to 3 secs for him to do that to the room

This is actually a really cool depiction of how someone who can move at super speed would see everything around them. The faster you move through space, the slower you move through time.
