Ara ara, man of culture ahead.
And there's is an irony in her words "in the end evolution always wins." She was just a soldier nothing more and nothing less, but clark wasn't bound to a role, he can be anyone he wants to be. And besides, in their planet, clark was born of the natural birth after many hundred years of them having the artificial birth which actually restricted their abilities to only 1 role. He socked in the yellow sun radiation for more than 30 years. In this case the evolution was him, not her. 😯
😂😂😂🤣 Damn I love the Internet.
😹
@Frost Flurry.. Kinda agree.. But that's not all, that's only 1 point.. She also mocked how he was hesitant to fight.. Hesitant to go all out. She thought that was his weakness.. Which is not true at all. According to her, traditional revolution is being set to one role, which is not true. She was the "product of failure" just as jor el stated in the movie. And in the end, kal el proved her wrong. That's why her "evolution wins " pharse is actually can be set against her. Because evolution means change.. Kal el is the change. Her words weren't false but she overestimated herself and underestimated superman's potential. Hence why I said she wasn't the evolution, supe was.
And I know she claimed that she is the revolution, but claiming proves nothing , that's why I said it's ironic coz, she is the old product of failure of krypton, against which kal was the evolution.. Not her. She is the product of age old failure.
The fact Henry Cavill didn't get a second Superman movie is absolutely unforgivable. The man was born to play that role.
its because of the batman vs superman - that sort of WAS the second movie in a sense but i agree, he should have done a trilogy of man of steel movies.
I know right, I hate everything they've done with superman post man of steel. They built this superman up so we'll only to shit on it the next movie.
@Sacrament3Dude how is that relevant LOL.
I fully agree; the man was born to play the role. While it's a shame he will never play it again I'm actually happy he isn't as they'd likely force him to do what was done to Geralt all over again, but worse.

Courageous but not a good idea to bring a knife to a super villain fight.......lol
@Mr. Grumpy He had no clue what he was fighting as his team just arrived mid fight. They could not have known prior the enemies were bullet, and even rocket proof.
But Stabler used all his weapons on them, and lost his team and ran out of ammo. He knew retreat was not an option after seeing how fast she was. He knew then he was going to die, and was making his last stand with the last weapon he had, and no fear. Faora knew that and recognized his heart when she said "a good death is its own reward". So yes, a promotion for his heart. As far as they knew at the start with so little data, they had an overwhelming fire superiority.
2-3 squads of what looks like Army Rangers. Hard to tell.
3 Little Birds with rockets and miniguns.
2 or more (I forget how many were taken out as they were incoming) Warthogs with air to ground rockets and GAU guns that absolutely turn armored tanks to swiss cheese in one burst.
There was no way they had any reason prior to contact to know these unloading everything they had would only piss off these beings. Although the rocket did help disable an already stunned Faora at the end.

This goes to show, how Kal may have had over 30 years of experience on earth, learning and adapting to all that is around him including the sun which helped him charge up for those 30 years, though he has little to no battle experience. While the other Kryptonians have had experience in battle as warriors and there can overpower Kal, they are momentarily weakened when they mask is turned off and they get exposed to everything on earth. No way in hell, it’s definitely better than some marvel movies but not combined😂
@@sidabundai- Yes, this ONE fight scene is better than ALL of the fight scenes in ALL of the Marvel movies combined. The Marvel movies fight scenes are more 'comedic'...cartoonish...more-so action comedy, not to be taken seriously. But this one fight scene along in 'Man of Steel' has more depth. There're more gravity to the action on screen in this fight sequence. And ironically, in spite of the material being about super-powered beings from Comic Books, the fight scene here is more believable, grounded, and realistic. While in Marvel, the fight scenes have no real gravity to them.
And btw, I like the Marvel movies...but DC is more authentic with the scenes. Also, the fight scenes in Zach Snyder's Justice League are far superior to the ones in Man of Steel, so by default the Marvel movies combined don't even come close.

@@richar_16 Justice league wasn't even a movie. That thing is a joke

Shows how strong Kal is when he can just body slam one of them and make there mask and helmet glitch and you see supergirl in the flash she doing her best and hardest but cannot even break this two armor or even glitch the mask off
Technically Super girl is stronger then Superman. The only reason Superman is stronger is due his time on Earth.
@@troyforce2Actually Superman is stronger. Supergirl only "appears" to be stronger because shes reckless and doesnt know how to hold back her powers as good as Clark can.

I swear the way Zack shoots his movies and action scenes are just top tier, and zans music is just pure pure gold,
Zack is different class when it comes to directing action scenes with the combination of Hans Zimmer score aswell equals absolute brilliance.

The kryptonian suit cgi are so much better than the one in The Flash movie
Just saw the flash, and this fight sequence is still unmatched.
Things I love about this scene:
-The Kryptonians are obviously more skilled than Kal (as they are soldiers) but not nearly as strong (because of Kals extended exposure to Earths sun).
-Kal repeatedly aims to separate the duo because one on one he knows he could beat them (and he does) because of this fact.
-Humans are shown to be awesome in their own right through balls alone. Not a single soldier flees.
-Foara Ul is genuinely threatening and intimidating, but still shows respect for bravery when she sees it.
Man, Faora and that soldier had crush on each other :D
It’s not just the exposer to the sun that makes him stronger. It’s also the codex that makes him the strongest kryptonian.

@nickys34 Wow, dude where to buy the stuff you takin??
@nickys34 ma'am I ain't reading that
@nickys34 I've too heard that the Superman character was a J000zeish invention too.
I would like to point out it took Supergirl, 2 Flashes and Batman to lose to Zod and his generals, meanwhile Clark beat them all alone
Clark had help from the humans to take out the world engines. Kara didn't have the same plan in place, in her first round against Zod, she actually knocked him out temporarily, but then had to waste time trying to deactivate the world engine which cost her big time. In the second round, her flow was disrupted by young Flash, she stopped her rage mode and again it cost her. Clark had 30 odd years exposure to the yellow sun, Kara had less than one day exposure. All things considered, I'd she actually did really well, even if she was destined to die because of that timeline's fixed fate. She adapted to her powers much quicker than Clark, given more time, she might've been able to escape her unfortunate fate. That said, I wish the Flash movie would've provided us with an explanation on why Barry couldn't go back in the alternate timeline and save Kara from captivity in the first place during her arrival or at some other earlier point in time to give her time to absorb more of the yellow sun. They kinda only attempt it from one fixed point which kinda screwed them all over.
nah 2013 barry clapped her ass much faster than clark did
@@katalyze9600Barry fucked her up good. If Kara had time for a full on sun bath, she would have won easily. BatKeaton could have stood by and waited until Zod and the Kryptonians were dead.
What really should have happened is Barry pulling Christopher Reeve Superman and Helen Slater Supergirl into the fight. They would have raped Zod and Faora so badly due to their experience and decades of solar absorption.

"A good death is its own reward" Best freaking lines ever in cinema history. Loved how Faora acknowledged his courage and decided to meet him with the same weapon. He knew it was suicide, but rather die for freedom then die for nothing.
Kinda unfair how she kept the armor on. At least remove the armor. If an M4 close up didn't pierce her armor a pocket knife won't hurt her.
@@henryjohnson-ville3834 removing armor is the dumbest thing a soldier can do, just watch Saving Private Ryan and you'll see my point, a soldier takes his head armor off for a split second and is instantly headshotted from nowhere. 🤦♂

"A good death is its own reward," great quote that show us Faora is not a psychotic villain, but a warrior capable of recognizing other warriors and give them respect when they voluntary choose to sacrifice against impossible odds.
She also talks about evolutionary advantage and she's not wrong. In the end Clark manage to beat them because he had been constantly evolving under the Earth's sun. Love Zack's work.
This!! I loved her character, as minor as it was. She was such an absolute badass and you could sense her code of honor, even if it wasn't one we follow. She clearly respects strength above all. She doesn't respect Clark b/c he, in her eyes, squandered his strength when he should be using it to dominate the world. She does respect the soldier because he, despite having so little strength compared to her, was willing to make the most of it. I loved that she took a moment to acknowledge his courage, and then in a way honored him by meeting him knife for knife when she could've just picked him up and tossed him 15 miles into the side of a building.
"Soldiers Deserve Soldiers"
It's a movie but dam they found a real foundation.
"and give them respect"
She had ZERO respect for every human, including this Colonel Hardy. She routinely killed people she regarded as less than her - unarmed, helpless, innocent. She didn't care.
Hey SFR "She also talks about evolutionary advantage and she's not wrong" Compassion and cooperation evolved by humans for inner cohesion of the tribe and these tribes survived better. We also evolved how to fight including possibly warfare. That's why we confuse ourselves because we don't realize we are a mix of different evolved talents that allowed us to get to 8 billion so far even if we are a hot mess.
