- The Mustang GTD is Ford's answer to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. On the outside you will discover 20in magnesium wheels, carbon fiber body work and titanium exhaust. On the inside you will be greeted by Rercaros, carbon fiber trim and special screen graphics. Under the hood is a 5.2L

No doubt that the Mustang GTD will perform amazingly. But I am shocked that Ford wants $325K for the car is crazy!!! How does the cost even get to $240K? If I was gonna spend $325 on a car I would be buying a Ferrari‼️

I'm fairly certain this car can run over any Ferarri you can buy at that price point on the track.
You aren't buying any new Ferrari for $325k unless you want the Roma. Definitely won't be touching a built to spec brand new 296 GTB for that price. This car, for what it is, and represents and who builds it (Multimatic Motorsports in Markham Ontario Canada) is a bargain.
I'd get a used f8 tributo anyday over this. But with that said the only people buying this aren't mustang fans becuase mustang fans wouldn't be mustang fans if they could afford a car this expensive 😂 its going to be collectors of supercars

Not as special as this. You have a 1/1,000 chance to get chosen by Ford to receive one, let alone it being an epic car.ive owned a significant amount of cars North of $300,000 and I'll take this all day
As a owner of a 21 GT500, it is such a fun car to drive daily, I can only imagine how much better the GTD would be. I would drive it daily too.

@@DominicRuiz23These will be better overall being they are magnesium. Carbon wheels for normal driving is a waste. Can't fix them If they get damaged, and INSANELY expensive. But yeah they are beautiful to look at. I'll take the magnesium wheels for driving.

Worth it is relative. This is a road legal GT3 spec race car. It's nothing like a stock Mustang. Not many have done this. This car will be worth 3 times this and more if Ford really limit the production numbers like they say. To you and I maybe not but there are enough enthusiasts to make this actually increase in value. This is the 2025 'Eleanor'

Hope the rotary dial doesn't stay stuck in P when the interior gets too hot, like in my '20 Escape. Just pump the brake twice, and all is good.
I've had the shift dial on my last 2 Fusions (17 and a 19) and my new Maverick and ZERO issues. Sorry you are having trouble with yours.

Not really into American cars but this thing... wow. If it achieves the sub-7 time, its worth the price. Design alone is spectacular.
It’s without a doubt going to be interesting to see what this beast can do. It looks badass, I can’t deny that one. As for the price, yes it is up there, but given that it’s going to compete with the Porsche GT3RS, it might be worth it to some. Not all, though, and I get why. Looking forward to seeing how this Mustang performs.

They don't want to sell this to people that will collect it in a garage. you sound so damn ignorant -- that's not what they look at but im sure it shows consistency and genuine interest on your end. They just want people that WILL drive it and show off to the public
Markup? There won't be ANY markup I'm sure you are asking why. Because the allocation for a car belongs to the customer NOT the dealer. Ford dealers are getting $15k to do the paperwork. If a customer picks a dealer to finish the transaction, and they decided to add an ADM, the customer can just call his concierge, and switch it to another dealer who won't do it. Remember, there were 1,350 Ford GTs delivered and ZERO had a markup. Same thing here.

People stay saying it’s not worth the price because of its name. These are the same people saying that the black series and the GT3rs is worth 400,000. This is not some burnout donut straight line car anymore. Let’s see what it can do before assuming it’s not worth the price.

Hey Joe, the GTD looks great and the engineering is amazing but let down by the interior? Honestly I would have expected a different special interior for this car as its limited production and over 300k, it looks like a Dark horse interior. Great video, thanks "ICE Mach 1" channel 👍🏼

Honestly, i was expecting the same seats out of the new Focus ST edition from Europe. Atleast a new recaro seat design instead of the same ones they've used since the GT350 and GT500.
Honestly they should have came out with the Raptor Mustang. Ford would sell more of these for the people up in canada that would love an AWD V8 and would take anything at this point

It's going to use the same 7-speed dual clutch that was in the Ford GT. It will also have a transaxle out back. Pure racecar stuff.
