Agree I'm a mad car lover! Love Mac 765lt vf supercharged huracan Merc gt black ferarri 296 and the new ferarri sf90xx the list goes on but this gtd is a masterpiece! Looks better than a gt3rs equal to gt black better than huracan and better than Ferraris if I had MONEY for 2 cars it would be a 765lt and this gtd! It just looks so good! Mean aggressive stunning! Only thing i dont like is wheel design! I'd get carbon wheels from gt500 then it will be a true art on wheels! Just stunning! Well done Ford! I would get the new c8 zr1 as well! 4cars I'd have gtd 765lt c8zr1 and gt black series! 2 front engine 2 mid engine cars!

Way over priced and since it's a Ford it will be in the shop half the time. There are a lot faster cars for way less. I'll take a resto mod Mustang cobra jet with the Boss 429. But oh this is a super car. OK then I'll take the Chevy Corvette.

I haven't been this excited since the time the Viper ACR smashed the clocks at the Nurburgring. Kudos to the team at Ford to not only keep this as some engineer's dream, but actually developing into something to enjoy both at the street and track.
Paint that thing matte black and put a bat symbol in the grill instead of a pony, and you got yourself the next Batmobile!

I am in awe, and drooling at this GTD. Considering how rare and intentional Ford is in selecting buyers, it will be a rare sighting for almost of us commenting to see one on the road. I've been a Mustang die hard, and this just nailed my passion!❤

This mustang is insane, a freaking beast.
I've noticed Raiti's videos have minimal edits, cut scenes & splices. It's single takes all the time & 2 or 3 cuts max for test drive uploads, no fumbles or slip ups. To me that's impressive.

If there was going to be something I'd spend that kind of money on, I would need it to be manual. Apparently the new Shelby / Cobra is rumoured to be a manual so I'll wait for that with fingers crossed. Personally I just like the front end on this and would be happy if it carried over to anything at all cheaper.

You know if Ford gave this car another hood and redesigned the cab, this car would look just like every newer camaro on the road 🙄 witch isn't saying much 🙄. You know even the dark horse Mustang looked more like a Mustang than this 2025 look. I don't even care what Ford has in mind for the next 25yr., probably the R&D will be so far out there that the car won't even resemble a Mustang

I owned a 1968 Mustang fastback, 3-speed manual, 289 V8. After seeing the movie, "Bullitt,” I was hooked. Then in 1971, I thought Ford went backwards from the classic design. In 2007, Ford introduced a Mustang that was reminiscent of its classic design. Then in 2010, something was amiss with the rear end. The taillights looked like an afterthought. FINALLY, I can say that I LOVE everything about the design with the 2025. Good going Ford. You’ve restored my faith once again.
I love the "for $300,000 I rather buy (insert your car here)" comment. When someone write a $300,000 check for a Mustang without blinking, chances are, they already have your "I rather buy" car in their garage.

Its a Mustang by name and overall shape but in reality its a street-able race car with technology that rivals many supercars.

I had a 2017 gt in dark grey it's the best color for a mustang! I had carbon fibre gt500 wrap stripes with orange pin stripes it looked so good! And a Roush supercharger fully adjustable 3 way race suspension a Apr rear wing front splitter! It's was a stunning car wish I kept it!!😢

@@Reaperguy67 it WAS unfortunately and I can't afford a new gt here in Australia it's 90k then a whipple is 30k Apr rear wing front splitter 5k and suspension 4k! So 140k! I also had it fully wrapped in ppf film with gt500 stripes 7k 147k to replicate! And I would never buy a used sports or supercar! Should of of kept it! Cheers mate!
As an owner of 13 Mustangs…I love it. I am 69 and still take a second look at almost all Mustangs that I see on the road. This is way off the chart. I will take it.

Those car's your referring to that bowed out. The Dodge Hellcat, Challenger, Charger and The Camaro isn't in the same category as the Mustang GTD. This car's brother. The IMSA Dark Horse GT3 race car will be competing against cars from Mercedes, Porsche, Aston Martin, BMW and the C8 GT3 Corvette. In IMSA. Ford performance & Multimatic will field a factory race team running multiple Dark Horse GT3 Mustangs. I'm looking forward to seeing the new Dark Horse GT3 race in the Rolex 24 at Daytona and LeMans. While the GTD will be attempting to break the Nurburgring lap record. Great review for an amazing Mustang Supercar.😮
@@junitoss83 i believe The Challenger finished ahead of the Mustang once.Mainly because of reduced S550 Mustang inventory and customers were willing to pay hugh markups and a higher MSRP for Hemi Challengers and Chargers.
Their replacements will likely have batteries and or a Hurricane Straight 6.
After Stellantis and GM received hugh government mpg fines for the Hemi and GM missing required fleet mpg numbers. Their old technology had to go. Ford reduced the 2022 Mustang GT Coyote's horsepower slightly improve it's fleet mpg while being the first to add EVs to the automotive lineup like the Mustang Mach E and F-150 lightning to hit the government mpg requirement. No fines. Ford was smart enough to know that both Stellantis and GM had large fines to pay creating the end of the gas Gussler Hemi and the extremely slow selling Camaro
Stellantis and General Motors paid a total of $363 million in civil penalties for failing to meet U.S. fuel economy requirements for prior model years.Jun 5, 2023

I actually just picked up my custom ordered GT Premium about 12 hours ago. 6 months of waiting but worth it. I am loving the car already, don't think the Dark Horse would've been worth the jump in price for me. I got an insane deal on mine at almost $5k off MSRP, and traded in my 2023 Civic Type R for it. 6-speed manual in Vapor Blue with the 401A, nite pony, GT performance, magneride, AND active exhaust packages - basically fully loaded. Loving the look and the details of the GTD so far as well! The fender vents, the widebody, the wheels (although not the color of them), the chassis mounted wing (which I was a little unsure of at first), the active aero that comes with that wing as well, the rear transaxle for the better weight distribution, and the supposed insane performance we'll be getting out of this car. The only thing that has me scratching my head is the price (and maybe the exhaust look 😂) - $300k ☠ I wonder why you'd go for this over something like a C8 Z06, or even something more exotic. If the performance is there then I suppose maybe it could make sense, I just personally wonder how much they can squeeze out of that engine when you're comparing it to the likes of GM's engineering of the 5.5L. Fantastic coverage as always, I look forward to hearing more as we get closer to the official release.

@JustSupNGo Part luck and part knowing the right people/person 😅 The main discount came from the X-plan that Ford has, and I qualified because my girlfriend works at Publix, who they partner with and offer the plan to. We're in the same household so I was able to get it too. That was a $3000 discount from my MSRP of what was initially $59,500. Ford didn't initially have the $1,000 gas guzzler tax on the manual as well (the MSRP changed to $60,500 a few weeks after I ordered mine), and the dealer I ordered from quoted me without it so they didn't charge me when it finally arrived. Lastly, there was a $750 rebate for X-plan deals at the time of purchase as well. So all in all $4750 off. Got tax savings on my Type R too but values took a hit from when I bought and the dealer wasn't that generous on it because the owner only sells Fords on the lot. Weird, but worked out.

I will say this now that dodge and Chevy are out. Like always they’ll wait to see what ford puts out and then work on something and release it a few year after the GTD debuts. They’re always following FORD who is usually first to do and try new things In the industry.
