Keep in mind this is the least track-capable version of the Dark Horse as well. Unfortunelty the EU cars dont get the handling pack (due to EU pedestrian protection regs) which having driven both, makes a huge difference- The HP cars get better aero, more negative camber, 305/315 width Trofeo RS tires, different chassis tuning for mag ride..etc. The brakes are really amazing. Glad you enjoyed it!

I`m a EU citizen and I love US cars. They are not as refined and polished as the EU counterparts, but bang for the buck ...? I think they do a pretty good job. I thought americans had a better opinion of their rides, because in Europe people tend to look down on them like being inferior for some reason. Especially handling. But that story might had been told in the 1970s and persisted to this day. Although it wasn`t true at all. Motorweek tested Camaro Z28 against Porsche 928 sometime in the 80s and, despite Camaro had some flaws from the factory, it won the fastest lap. One other guy drove a Firebird (fourth gen) as a drift car and said he had never seen anything like it. It handled perfect, was predictable, very solid chassis ... What I`m trying to say is there are lots of great US cars aside from Corvettes and CTSes. But how do you say about that stuff ...? Underrated?

So sad they don’t get handling back, was with Grassroots Motorsports when they tested a non-HP at the Firm in Florida’s and the tires hold the car back a good amount. The 305/315 as well as all the other changes makes a huge difference and you would’ve loved it! Hopefully they can order all that stuff and install it themselves. Can’t wait to see you try more American cars. Like a ZL1 1LE, Boss 302, GT500 or a Z/28 (would love to see first and last one fs)

Also worth noting is most of its unique sound came from an exhaust manifold design that prioritized sound over outright performance, throwing equal length headers on it makes it sound more like any other flat-plane V8 and frees up a good chunk of power in the high RPM range.

Thanks for all your videos!!! Sometimes it's close to not wetting my pants even though I'm not even on the ride. The fact that you drive the same track every day, perhaps several times a day, also makes it comparable between different cars, but it's not easy as a driver even if you have two identical cars, and when driven by different owners with different mileages, they can already be quite different, not to mention the tires, chassis and tuning level. But we see how the Pro driver leaves behind significantly faster cars than what he is currently driving. Amazing videos! God's blessing and safety to you!

Maybe it's the camera angle, but Misha looks like he's reaching back for the gear lever. I don't recall that being an issue with my old Steeda modified S550 Mustang. Also interesting to see him discover that you can't rely on low-down torque to pull it out of corners; it's often better to change down more often than you might expect (took Misha some time to realise that!). That motor pulls best at higher revs. Overall, the Dark Horse seems like it's a great car for the money!
