Whirlpool Washer Not Spinning - Easy Fix

  • Whirlpool washer not spinning and the easy way to fix it. If you have a Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, or Roper washer that looks similar to what you see in this video, there is an easy fix to a no spin problem. Usually if the washer is filling, agitating, and draining but not spinning, the culprit is the shift actuator which switches the washer from agitating to final spin. In this video I show you how to replace the shift actuator to get your washing machine up and running again! Here are the parts I ordered on Amazon for this fix. I also ordered a clutch kit just in case but never ended up using it:

    Pulley Clutch Kit: amzn.to/48eumpJ

    Thank you so much for posting this video. I have a Whirlpool washer which is three and a half years old. During a wash cycle,
    it stopped spinning and made the loudest, horrible, grinding noise I have ever heard. It was out of warranty so Whirlpool, of course, wouldn't offer any help or advice. Oh, they did offer 10% off if I bought another one! Fat chance of ever buying a
    Whirlpool again. I have called a serviceman so I'm hoping he can repair it. Thank you again.

    I just bought my whirl pool washer, the 2 in 1. It washes but doesn’t drain the water completely and leaves my cloths wet after the cycle finishes, but if I switch it to drain and spin it completes the cycle and leaves them dry. What could be the problem ?

    Recalibration sequence:
    1) Set back where it was turn on and wait at least 30sec
    2) Twist dial counterclockwise one full rotation back to normal
    3) Turn three clicks the right
    4) Turn one click to left
    5) Turn one click back the right
    *All must be complete within 3 sec.
    LIGHTS FLASHING WILL INDICATE CALIBRATION UNDERWAY

    • @WordofAdviceTV
      @WordofAdviceTV  11 месяцев назад +2

      You're welcome! I agree, it does seem like they purposely hide it away. Most of the time the "secret service manual" will be hidden either in the back of the washer, behind the back cover panel or it will be taped on the inside of the washer in the front corner. You would need to disassemble and lift the top to get to it.
