This was it! Thank you so much. I’m a single mom of 4 and always go to RUclips. Idk what I would do if not for all the life savers I have found along the road. I went from pricing a new washer, to paying $1.25 at the Dollar Tree for some zip ties! Thank you!

This was a lifesaver for me. This happened and thought I was going to be forced to by a new washer. My Kenmore washer and dryer was handed down to me by my parents years ago and is 24 years old and still kicking. They don't make them like this anymore so thankful to your video to help me fix it.

So single mother here with a question. My washer will spin during the cleaning cycle just fine and dandy. Now with that said here lies my conundrum, it refuses to spin on the final rinse cycle. All the water drains but of course the clothes are still soaking wet because the water didn't get spun out of them. I've watched several video's on different issues, but not my problem exactly. All the videos I watch are semi old or the creator doesn't respond back to questions. But thankfully I ran across your video and seen that you actually take the time out to answer your subscribers questions. Which is so absolutely awesome and means so much, it definitely separates you from the rest of these repair channels, because it shows you actually care. You understand that some people, especially all of us single mothers on a budget. That have to put on our many hats and get in there and get our hands dirty, to fix our own appliance issues if at all possible. Thanks so much for being the creator that's genuine,it means more than you know!!❤

If it spins well on the wash cycle but will not spin at all on the rinse cycle you may have a problem with the timer. I would test that

I don't have a video on that yet. You will need a multi meter to test it. You can get a cheap one at Harbor Freight for around $5. There are videos online that will show you how to do that.

THANK YOU!!! My washer is pretty old, I bought it used like 7 years ago for like $100, and it stopped working. Well you just saved me a bunch of money and gave my washer a few more years of work!!! Awesome video!!!

I have a 30 year old Kenmore that worked like a charm, until I put a big dog bed with foam cushions in it. That’s what made the spinning stop. I was excited to find your fix, but mine still clicked, and when I took it out, it wasn’t split at all. Do you have any back up thoughts? I know you made this video two years ago, so I’m not really expecting an answer. I just don’t want to throw it out unless there’s truly no hope. I have to do more daily loads with an incontinent dog who is a senior, then I ever did with a family lol.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Your problem could be one of many. Could be that the weight of the dog bed in the washer broke the plastic coupler.?. Here is a video that will give you a deeper understanding of how to make repairs to your washing machine and if it is the coupler you will also learn how to change that. Wishing you all the best
