Great series on appliance repairs. I'm a maintenance director for a property management company & I have worked on appliances for the last 20 years from Whirlpool, Kenmore, Amana, Maytag, GE, Roper, & others. My channel has plenty of repairs as well from appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, swimming pool & various other repairs. 🛠️👍
My drain pump is good after checking ohms. Cleared the drain hose. Did the whole test as per the manual. Checking ohms at the mother board everything checked out good. Replaced the mother board, drain pump, shift solenoid and still no drain. I’m at a loose with the Maytag.
Maybe mentioning that when you test the drain pump when remove the housing on top to move the flaps that it should have some resistance to it if it spins freely the spring inside or the magnet could be defective which in turn causes the drain pump to be not operable.
Thanks glad I saw your comment. I could hear my pump kicking on but not moving any water. Took it apart and had no obstructions so I'm ordering a pump.
Hi, I bought the Maytag washer and dryer, Pet Pro and after one wash, there is water that remains between the drum and the floor of the machine. I tried the "spin and drain" button but the water is still there. I didn't make a Big load of washing and there was no socks or small things. You wouldn't know or suspect what problème it would be, would you? Thank you very much 🙂
The part you talked about the board frying the drain pump, it is actually the other way around… the pump being bad will cause the board not to run properly will fry the board resulting in nothing working…
I have a Maytag washer that just stopped working this Sunday. I was doing my laundry toward the end of the wash cycle. I went out to walk my dog and when I got back, I heard a buzzing from the washer, It was stuck on the last drain n rinse cycle. I pressed the on/off reset button to get it to drain and nothing. It just kept buzzing. I finally unplugged it and waited for an hour to see if it had reset itself but nothing, just the buzzing and the sensing light blinking. I think it's the control board that's damaged.
@@CabbagePeeVeePeeI got the the new water value and replaced it. It still had the same problem. So I was thinking that it was either the drain pump or the controller. I didn't want to start going through the process of buying other pieces and finding out thats not be the problem, so I went and got a new washer. An LG this time.
Thanks for the video. How to find out what SERIES washing machine? How do I find which SERIES is my Kenmore washing machine? People say this SERIES or that SERIES, 70 series, 80 series, or whatever SERIES. How do I find out what is this SERIES of my Kenmore washing machine? Thanks. 7:40
I took apart the pump didnt find much, but i did find quite the clog inside the bottom of the tub where the drain connects to....even with needle nose i can clear the clog, any tips to get to the clog
My impeller turns like the one you're showing but I don't hear clicking and I can pull the impeller up and down I don't know if that is good. I test benched it by hooking it up to 120 v and it is spinning.
If you have check for clogs and browesed the controll board for obvious failures (ie burn marks, bulging capacitors) then I would go ahead and replace the pump
I'm trying to remove the agitator from a Whirpool washer. I removed the fabric softener but there is no 7/16 nut like the videos show. The bottom of the remaining "cup" has two opposing bars on the bottom. How do I remove the agitator?
I have a question my sensor light is on my Kenmore washing and also the lock panel was giving me trouble. I took off the lock lid. but my main concern is my sensor light it want wash or spin what can I do. Don't have funds to fix it.
A washer being stuck in the sensing mode can be a multitude of different issues. Is it filling with water? If not it could be the valves or the lid lock. If it is filling with some water then it could be a bad shifter motor. Hard to completely assess the situation based on just a written description
I need help for our washing the brand is zenz the problem is we wash our clothes but when its done already washing we can't open the steel inside and something is broken. You can help us. Thank you.

Bad control board ?? Please help

My Whirlpool is not draining. When I do the diagnostic I get a code where all the lights light up. I believe it to be F15. Any guesses?

I have a GE washing machine my machine locks but won't spin what can be the problem ???? thanks in advance
What size drill bit is that?
My kenmore top loaded washer, the clothes come out soaking wet, and the washer gets stuck on rinse cycle after completing the spinning cycle
I took apart the pump didnt find much, but i did find quite the clog inside the bottom of the tub where the drain connects to....even with needle nose i can clear the clog, any tips to get to the clog
I would try a rigid wire or a metal coat hanger

Perfect!!!!

I believe there should be two tabs below where u removed the cup. Press those tabs and pull up and you should get access to the nut
Quick question my machine fills but won't agitate or drain or spin? Please help
Could be a lot of things. But two the most common issues that cause that is a broken lid switch/lock or a bad mode shifter
My kenmore is not going into diagnostic mode. I double checked the manual and no luck. Machine is stuck in sensing mode
Thank you it works now
Awesome!
how bout if it will drain, but not wen it's spose to?
ours started not draining at end of cycle,we havto turn it bak onto a spin cycle, then it will
