    so what was the issue to begin with? You didn't find any faults or blockages and somehow it started working again?

    The pump is good if it reads 15-25 Ohms. Bad with 0 or very high.

    My washer won't drain and spin in a cycle but it does it perfectly fine when I put it on "drain and spin". Any idea what that usually is? Any idea would be appreciated! Thank you.

      It could be the timer knob is worn out. The contacts inside the mechanical timer some times wear out and it will not advance. When you manually turn it to spin the contacts might be better in that position. They can get finicky with age...like humans! Lol

    I have this same problem but my washer is brand new. My husband didn't listen to me and overloaded the washer(putting way too many clothes in). Can overloading cause damage to the drive hub?

    • @helpinguonline
      @helpinguonline  2 месяца назад

      Possibly… If your machine is new hopefully it’s still under warranty. They don’t make them like they used to.

    Couldn't find your video on replacing the drive hub.

    • @helpinguonline
      @helpinguonline  2 года назад

      I wasn't sure how to include that in this video?. The Drive Hub video won't come out until next Tuesday. BUT... I definitely wanted to have that in there because the drive hub going bad in these washers is a very common problem that affects the tub spinning and draining properly.
      Watch for that video this coming Tuesday!
      Thanks for your visit.

      @@helpinguonlineAfter cleaning my pump. I pressed the button start then the water began to fill the drum , and the water just drain out to the drain line that connect to the water pump and out through the drain.
      I checked the pump separately with alligator clip. It is good.
      Usually When you fill the basket with water the water will not come out to the water pump and drain.. Is that the timer or setting causing the water to come out to the drain. When I put to drain/spint the pump worked good. Thanks.
