Hi Amanda! I’m so happy you were inspired to step out of your comfort zone using colors you do not normally use! I have to do that! When I go shopping for yarn 🧶 I tend to gravitate to the colors I usually love which are usually all shades of blue especially turquoise. Although I love colors I have to remind myself to get yarn in other colors

    • @cynthiaventura360

Oh yea I forgot I gravitate more towards grays as well 😂

Thanks Cynthia! I'm glad I did as well :) Grays and blues are something I gravitate towards as well. I'm glad I listened to my best friend and did something a little different this time. I have a few more "out of my comfort zone" projects coming up that I'm excited about! Hopefully they all turn out OK :)

    Hey Amanda
    I love making Ripple afghans.
I'm working on one right now.
    In a single chrochet.
I use a I hook my favorite hook to go to.
Does the size J make the pattern bigger?
I love this yarn from Hobby Lobby.
I've never done a double chrochet ripple pattern.
    I'm gonna try it.
    Thanks

I hope you give this one a try! The J crochet hook does make it slightly bigger. Also by using a double crochet, you will get more height to the blanket as well. I've never done a single crochet ripple before. Might have to give that a try sometime. Enjoy!

How many grams in each skein please. We don’t have this yarn in the UK so need to know how much of another yarn to buy. I’ve tried stopping and slowing down the video to read the paper wrappers but just couldn’t manage it.
