1:31 tbh I feel like this recipe could be made a little bit more difficult, by the time you're ready to fight the ender dragon you'll have diamonds anyways, and you need blaze powder for the eyes of ender also so ultimately it seems more like an aesthetic change. Maybe you can make it to where you also need echo shards for the corners of the recipe? It would fit, and it would incentivize you to go to the deep dark before the end. I love the idea of having a greater requirement for entering the end, I just feel that if there is gonna be one it should incentivize players to explore areas they might be afraid to go rather than just being more expensive. I really like the ender sand idea too, I feel maybe just making it a tiny bit more apparent where it is would be good though, in the midst of battle I feel nobody would be able to tell where the sand is unless it looks distinctly different in some way. Perhaps it could have small specks of "obsidian" in it from the towers? Tiny dots of darker material in the texture would still be fairly difficult to see without paying attention but it would still give the visual cue to avoid it if you know what to look for. Or maybe you can give it an animated texture instead so it looks like it's shifting, that would be kinda neat. I think the end cage thing is good overall personally. No complaints there. The red dragon thing is kinda neat, but idk, personally for me as an aesthetic thing maybe they should just be semi-translucent, smaller copies of the ender dragon that avoid the player, them being red just seems kinda garish to me. I like the concept but it could use a touch of work. I think the purpura forest is fine personally, It's not like you made the entire end just purpura forest, and I think small areas of forest with cool wood in it is a good addition. There's plenty of space to add surreal stone structures. Also, the nether didn't have forests before the nether update and I imagine people must've made the same argument before we just got used to the new nether. I really like those teleporter blocks, I think they'd be an intriguing new block to use for redstone, although I feel like using them for end bridges might be kinda pointless, as to build it you'd have to make a bridge anyways, and by then you could probably just construct an ice bridge or use ender pearls. If you could add vertical functionality to it as well though that would change things a lot, imagine stepping onto one and getting sent up a level without needing a water elevator? Perhaps you could even set the distance? I imagine something like using a comparator and lectern as an input to set the distance would be neat, with the default being 15 as previously stated. They'd certainly at least revolutionize certain mob farms I'd imagine. I think the golem thing is neat, I like the concept a lot :) . I feel that one thing that could be expanded upon is the golem thing, and maybe it could be used to make a similar structure to the trial chambers but for the end instead where there's multiple rooms all focused on something powered by that same kind of magic. Overall I think you did a good job with the mod, I think it's fairly faithful to a vanilla minecraft feel while also being exciting, and expanding upon existing motifs in the game, I love that you included the galactic alphabet on the golem too, it was a great touch! I hope that your work gets noticed by more people as you have done a great job!
thank you! after reading through your feedback i can see why a change in end sand texture would be warranted, as well as a few tweaks in other textures (i.e. the red dragons) as for it being a mod... its actually just a texture pack haha again, thanks for taking the time for writing out your comment! :D also, the galactic alphabet on the golem spells out "TRE" ^-^
Textures are ugly as hell. The charged ender eye adds almost nothing to the game. Mineraft doesn't need new tools and armor since every mob and boss (even modded) in the game is balanced to be challenge for players with netherite armor and tools. The ender sand doesn't make the game harder, just more annoying. The obelisk boss looks lazy as hell especially with how it forms a barrier around you. The new biome doesn't add anything to the game. Listening to the community is bad idea in terms of game design because most people know nothing about designing games to be entertaining.
no it doesnt really fit minecraft, if mojang does an end update, which they will probably since all teh teasing and after the mob vote they know theyre gonna lose all the palyers if they dont do it, it will certainly look nothing like this, the efforts put into this are really cool but i think its missing the point, just adding features is not gonna chnage anything
@@crafterman_3867 i think your opinion is valid but if they were gonna add more biomes there would probably be some sort of tree and grass endstone block i really like the vibe of this end update i really wouldnt be mad if this type of thing was added, i also saw another video by another creator who also created an end update which was super cool as well maybe you would enjoy that concept better because it adds more features plus new blocks and biomes :) no hate tho i promise xd
@@fvtixx2124 i do enjoy this concept but im just sayign if mojang did the end update (they will probably) its not gonna look like that, its probably gonna look like an alien planet and its probably not gonan be grass thats un the ground

@heroicplaysmc honestly i think we all are quite interested on how they would go about it, there is so much balancing and careful work to be done and im excited for when it eventually releases
the purpora biome islands are supposed to be scattered out far in the outer end islands such that finding them would be a rare event that people would love and would break up the monotony of end busting lol
not a fan myself but hey, ya put in the effort.
personally, think the End should be more surreal; trees and grass are just missing the point
i see your point
Completely agree with this!

the lively parts are few and far between so i think that is what would balance it out
