I’ll say it again for anyone confused - Minecraft Dungeons is confirmed Canon. Look at the technology in that game, think of the floatater block and end ships we could see some crazy stuff.
The minecraft dungeons end is what the end would look like if Mojang remade the end and actually updated it. Well I mean if they did it in base minecraft that is, they really need to update the end as minecraft dungeons does it right
@@KwikBR Legends is not cannon... it's a legend which means that things are fictional and that there are only threads of truth. Dungeons takes place in the Minecraft Universe and the technology and mechanics are 100% cannon. Devs have cleared this up in their deep dive videos on both games.
@@KwikBR Legends mc is just arguably canon. And I don't think mcd is in another universe. I mean, ig according to Mojang each world is its own universe.
I agree with pretty much everything you said. Dragon fight really needs a rework to make it actually enjoyable. Adding a few new attack patterns like a flyby close to a ground while unleashing its breath attack, making a line of death on the ground. Making it get more and more agressive and responsive as the crystals drop. And also giving it a number of resistances tied to its powerful scales (as dragons in fantasy are known to have). For ex, 80% blast damage reduction to discourage the bed cheese method, among other things to allow it to decently withstand attacks from high enchanted weapons. This would make the end fight something you'd actually NEED to prepare for as best as you can. And as for a reward for repeating the fight, you could gather a small number of dragon scale pieces, which could maybe be used to give armor some magic damage reduction, you know, the damage type that usually IGNORES armor completly, of course it couldn't be compatible with netherite equipment for ballance reasons, but you get the point. Adding not one, but a number of endgame level netherite gear alternatives would make armor and weapon collecting that much more interesting than making a collection of diffrently trimmed and enchanted netherite armor sets. And of course, adding such powerful gear would allow to add more challenging bosses, events, structure variants and more!
in regards to your idea of a new end ore/material id say make it pretty rare and make the crafting recipes need large amounts of other rare items but depending on the other items used you get a different unique weapon... again they have a huge pool of different weapons and equips in MCD to draw from, give us a giant heavy slow af anchor or dual knives with completely unique enchantments that cant be found anywhere else... that would be cool and a game changer for multiplayer
Itd be cool if after crafting something, a massive blackhole opened and the Eldritch entity that comes out of it seeps energy into the surrounding biome and thats where the new shrubbery and crystals come from. Its a bit out there and needs to be workshopped, but it would allow for explanations of where the shrubbery comes from
You make good points. It would be interesting to see how they would implement the new wood type. Perhaps, if the end cities were made by the ancient builders, a new room variant could introduce a purplish wood type from a warped tree left behind from an ancient age? I definitely could see how they might make a dash/small teleport tool that would harness the ability of the chorus fruit in a more predictable manner.
I think the issue with the end is the simultaneous "it should be empty and eery" and "It should be equally exciting as the nether" they aren't easy to do at the same time, the nether was basically just as empty as the end before the nether update, and people liked the additions to the nether which took it from a desert of red stone to a lush new world with amazing variety. The end right now is a vast desert of beige stone and purple, and clearly people want it to be more exciting. I think there's merit to the idea of not just making it more lush, but honestly I think if anything what the end needs is more variety. It's got the vibe already of being vast and mostly empty, so I think making the new additions somewhat more rare is a good thing, but I think it would be nice to have the rare chance of a lush beautiful biome in the end as well, surrounded by a vast nearly endless horizon of desolate islands. Basically, finding a "end forest" would be a rare sight like a mushroom forest in the overworld. Other than that I think adding an ore variant and a wood type would be nice, I also think that you should be able to craft stone tools from end stone, the nether had gold that you could use for tools after wood, but the end would have just wood until you get the fancier late game stuff, and adding a variant of iron or some other ore would just be redundant and forced, but stone would be simple and it's also quite abundant. For a food source I think they should repurpose popped chorus fruit as a food item that doesn't teleport you around, and add a neutral entity that pollinates chorus plants that you can slay and eat, one idea could be basically a bee like creature that produces "end honey" and can be killed, giving bug meat or whatever, and they naturally spawn around an end bee hive, which would be a much larger structure nestled inside of an end island that you could if you so choose enter, fight off and steal end honey which can be used for potions or something idk. I think also purpur blocks should be made using popped chorus and end stone, basically treating purpur as a type of dye. Another issue is how drab the end is, I think what they should do is to add more complimentary colors to the shades of purple and beige, so more orange, yellow, violet, avoiding green, blue, etc to make the vibe more distinctly "the end", so like, the beehive wall material could be an orangy color, so you occasionally come accross that, you could have maybe the metal being a light violet, not highly noticeable, just basically violet tinted iron, and maybe just specifically for the aformentioned rare biome could break that overall vibe a bit and use blues and reds for highlights with a core color palette of purples, beiges, and orange or something. Overall I think at least having more structural diversity in the end would be nice like what was mentioned in the video, an end peaks biome would be really cool, and maybe you could even have "megastructure" type things that vaguely look like things in the overworld, I think it would be eery and you can connect that to lore by saying that endermen over time organized blocks in the end into the general forms of structures and things in the overworld on a large scale, effectively vaguely familiar monoliths of endstone, their original idea lost but yet familiar enough to be striking. So imagine a "desert temple" or a "villager" or a "cow" but entirely made out of solid end stone, maybe even so old that purpur grows on it, and maybe you could vary the amount of "weathering" each structure has to make it feel like over time the endermen have truly forgotten what the original purpose of those structures were
Yeah the warped forest has a color palette that is the complete opposite of the nether, but that's why it's one of the most fascinating biomes in there.
In my opinion, I think we need a potion overhaul. I mean, don’t get me wrong, potions are amazing it’s just a lot of them aren’t that good or are mainly useful in multiplayer. I just think more potions that don’t just improve stats like strength or speed that give more effects or change the environment like a potion of fire. People may completely disagree but potions haven’t been touched all that much. While some things like the end or mushroom island haven’t been touched in years, I still think there is some missed potential for potions. Even just making cauldrons more potion related or just adding more potion types, I think it would be really cool if potions could be improved or added to.
The End should stay barren and with sparse vegetation and different biomes should be found in different altitude levels. The jagged and rocky environments would be found in lower altitudes while lush biomes (if they are going to add them) at higher levels as they should be risky because of the mobs that will spawn there, but rewarding and in my opinion their should be a elytra-alternative mob which should be rare and almost difficult to tame with the requirements of going to the high altitude biomes. If you come prepared getting these mobs will be worth it as it could be a pet but it’s going to need some major downsides to balance out the elytra’s value.
please use punctuation, I had a stroke reading that Anyways, I agree with the whole “desolate void” idea of the end, and varying altitudes would make for cool forms of exploration
no bro that’s boring I want it to look like better end, and also guys remember the nether used to be a barren wasteland until the nether update and it looks 10x better now and the end is also a barren wasteland rn
I just want The End’s void to be cooler. Like this one mod where there’s bright purple light stretching from the bottom to the top, but maybe have the lights fade as they go down?
i think a cool mechanic could be strapping new ender pearl variants to arrows that you can like remotely detonate with the right click. it would pair well with the mace and crossbows which are pretty under used. maybe you could have the multishot enchantment make little shadow clones of yourself that would throw off enemies and mobs but that might be a little far fetched lol
maybe there could be an enderpearl variant that pulls you along and creates momentum, so it would kinda feel like a grappling hook but more minecrafty. this could also be paired with Elytra to help fly larger distances after you've been pulled into the air
Recently I’ve been thinking about what I would make in and End Update. I had some lore ideas which the update could be based on: the End wasn’t always desolate, but the Ancient builder’s experiments with teleportation unleashed the End, which eventually corrupted most if not all of the dimension. The builders sealed it off, creating the end portals. The End corrupted and twisted and scoured everything in the dimension, creating the endermen and other unnatural beings. The new mobs this would allow for endermen and maybe even corrupted illagers The biomes should remain alien and mostly desolate, with biomes such as the End Wilds from dungeons, fields of obsidian, mountains of a new stone type with large glowing crystals. New structures could include crashed ships and other structures in a similar style to the ocean monuments and end cities with mobs similar to guardians and shulkers
Bro, i think your end update basically took all the good stuff i would want from it. I personally think that a lush landscape would fit it good. But at least i liked some things: different island heights, grapling hook and a new boss
Make end cities contain a miniboss you fight to get the elytra. Sure, the dragon is the challenge but that already existed so its a new reward without a new challenge. To sweeten this you can simply make the cities drop a new elytra enchantment.
what if it comes from a spawner that has a similar mechanic to the vault. it summons 1x boss each time a new player approaches it, and then the boss drops an elytra. that way every player has a fair chance at getting one
Great ideas! I totally agree that the End should still feel like a desolate place after it gets its update. :) About the grappling hook: if the player was to obtain it in the End, wouldn't it be placed at the wrong point of progression? I imagine it being most useful in caves or the Nether, so what would be the point of it in the End, when the player already has an Elytra (or is very close to obtaining one)? Although... with teleportation and flying already baked into the dimension, making the End's rewards all about ease-of-movement for the late-game would be very cool! Double jump or anti-grav, as mentioned in the video - though I'd find it way more fun if the WHOLE dimension already had some sort of anti-grav, floatier jumps by default.
i think something important for the End is adding as many beautiful blocks as possible exclusive to the dimension. It's the "end" goal of the game, after which you no longer have an extrinsic motivator to continue playing adding new pretty blocks to seriously inspire players would do a lot to keep them motivated even after defeating the Dragon. (there should also be something to nudge players towards wanting/feeling like there is a need to make another building in their world, because making something purely with aesthetic value can sometimes feel pointless. maybe the End could be filled with various trophy items that they might want to build a display for, or there could be something like a beacon or enchantment table that needs an accompanying structure to be powered. or maybe the End could be filled with so much content that there is a need to build a base in the dimension in order to ease exploration).
Havent thought out every detail but one part of an end update concept i have is islands at different y levels, and on the underside of one there could be a heavily guarded dangerous structure called an ender vault, and if cleared can hold something incredibly valuable, like a material or template or something for tools or armour that only spawns there
One problem with respawning in the End: you can’t get out easily. If you die or go thru the end fountain, you return to your spawn point, which is in the End, and you need to break/deactivate the respawn block in order to leave
Idea for End block: A block that when you step on it, teleports you to its directly below counterpart, (a version under the end islands) and drops you into the void.
FINALLY someone who suggests an End Update that doesn't suggest making it full of life and take away its barren unsettling vibe. I also never liked those End Update mods that basically make the End feel like the "Overworld but purple".
Ive thought for a long time that the End should have some sort of stony, floating, mountain-esc biome that has a purple blocks similar to stone or netherack, so that there is a source for purpur blocks. Look around the dimension. Literally, from end to end, theres nothing that shows where purpur blocks come from. No where. Thats very eerie, yes, the dimension is very eerie for sure. But adding this would mean you could mine an actual landscape in the end, instead of end cities, to use purpur blocks. And of course you could have all of the smooth or cut, chiseled and cracked purpur blocks and all of their slab, stair, and wall varients for even better building. These kinds of purpur variations being added could also be used as the foundation to an entire overhaul to End City designs. I also think Endstone should recieve its own brick, cracked and chiseled varients. Mostly a biased choice but it would flesh out the gradient of birch and sandstone so beautifully. And, those new Endstone blocks could be used to add End Ruins to explore or find, and the maps to them could be found in End Cities. Maybe the Ruins could have a secret chest, much like the Trial Chambers vault, where only a new item that you loot from an End City can open.
I think they should add a redstone component that increases the power of other redstone blocks. Pistons would be able to push more than 12 blocks and push obsidian, dispensers have a larger range, etc.
I’d also add another feature to the new ore. Give it the ability to be charged by the end crystals. Something similar to marvel’s vibranium, when enderite armour is charged when you’re hit it gives an explosive effect and the tools like axes, pickaxes and swords produce the explosive effect when you hit something and Charged enderite pickaxes can mine bedrock.
This is exactly how I've always hoped an End Update to go. All these suggestions and mods that imagine an End Update as adding trees and grass and lush biomes just do not sit well, as they basically try to turn the End into "the Overworld but purple". I've always imagined an End Update should keep the End barren and have some new structures, new mobs, new ore, a boss, and updating the Ender Dragon, pretty much exactly what you've said here. But no freaking grass and trees.
I agree with a lot of things you said, especially that mods like Better End butcher the End with these super lush “fairy tale” biomes, pretty much. I want to see new biomes and vegetation in the End, but I want them to be more desert like, instead of just End reskins of the crimson and warped forests. In terms of new structures and bosses, I do have my own elaborate ideas, but I really want them to add a “B elemental” to the End, like how the Overworld has the breeze, and the Nether the blaze. It could be called the buff, and rely on earth related attacks, like shockwaves, which I feel ties in well enough with the End’s theme of teleportation. Maybe it produces a harmful shockwave every time it teleports. The mod Alex’s mobs also adds in a couple new End mobs, one of which being an End version of the tardigrade, which basically acts as an aerial strider, and the void worm, a second End boss similar to Terraria’s worm fights. I don’t think the void worm should turned into a boss, especially since that’s ripping off Alex’s ideas, but End worms would be an oddly fitting new mob. Maybe call them “endelids” (Ender + annelid), or something, and have them be used to make a fertilizer for Nether and End plants like Nether wart and chorus plants, instead of using bonemeal as a catch all fertilizer for all dimensions. Tardigrades (of course, they’d need to be given a rename and recolor to seem fictional) could work just like on Alex’s mobs, and could be the precursor to the elytra. Or, better yet, let you safely traverse the bottom of End islands, which may be another good spot to find rare ores. Also, if they add a new structure (where the buff should be at), that’d be a great way to add trials to more structures, and, likewise, keys and vaults. Maybe the item frame in the End shop could be replaced with a vault, so you have to first go to another structure before truly earning the elytra. (This’ll also help having to search multiple ships for elytras in multiplayer.)
i think forests of tall, winding chorus trees would be a good addition, because there were some new wood types seen in mcd, along with the dingy yellow grass. one of the wood types was even the color of purpur blocks. the soundtrack tho, it should sound like eerie, static-like ambience instead of actual music, with maybe reverbed and distorted segments from overworld tracks mixed in. i want them to keep the same vibe that C418 did when he made the original end soundtrack, and also something similar to the echoing void ost. save the real music for the end's music disc(s)
If Mojang is clever enough, they'll make an end update and a part 2 that keeps on expanding the End. Let's be real guys, the community wants the End to be marvellous. I don't think the community will criticize Mojang for adding a ton of content split into two.
i think something like the tempest golem or the (vengeful) heart of ender from minecraft dungeons would fit the eemy wave format a lot better. or, y'know, something like mithrix in risk of rain 2 with an enemy wave intermission before continuing the fight with added mob spawns
I think it should be similar to the nether update and add biomes and add 3rd dimeonal isalnd is some biomes but still having it not as much "life" to the end as the nether.
Personally I don’t think the end should be livable as soon as you go in (meaning access to wood and other starting things) but I feel like it should be up to the player to make the end livable for themselves
Also make it so end stone works the same way as normal stone, also new endstone blocks aswell such as smooth endstone which has a similar texture to the default stone blocks that spawn in your world, but with the endstone colour pallet.
What's with the insistence of the End not feeling "alive"?. Things live there, there's even plants. Why does it have to be so empty?? why can't we have greenery??
To be honest lush biomes is a good fit for the end if the trees are spaced out really far and look extremely different than anywhere else in the game. I think it will still feel lonely that way. I picture glowing yellow trees spaced around 50 blocks apart, and shrubs and pools of water on the ground with strange fish in them.
Overall, I feel an end update should serve to improve Minecraft's endgame by providing a lot of the quality of life features requested by players, be it fast travel or the sorts. I also find myself disagreeing with the idea that the end needs to be barren and rocky, as I think it's just a bias developed from the naturally under-developed end we have now. In reality, I don't see an end update being focused on either or realistically, and I'm gonna guess it'll have some barren biomes on top of a new forest or two.
What if there was some kind of new faction of mobs that were hostile to endermen and players, some kind of large force trying to survive the end. I think it would be cool to add something similar to the pillagers in the end.
I agree 100% with you, the End shouldn't be alive, i mean, we must kill the last ender dragon just to go back to the overworld and even to make exploring the End easier. The End must be dead, rocky, and desolate, like a giant desert. Crystals would be perfect in thatoptic, and i think we could even had some sort of obsidian spike biome. And to make travel with elytra more intersting we could add "ether currents" wich would be sparky purple and blue currents in the sky that would make elytra faster and we wouldn't fall as long as we're in those.
a new dragon attack could be the dragon flying and landing on pillars or floating endstons islands around the main one to heal, and flying under the main end island and coming up in a random spot to attack the playef
The End update should be that Steve finally gets Alex. After defeating the dragon (which is what every man has to do to get a girl) he could slaughter some more Endermen and grab some pearls. He also needs to grab the egg. Then he goes back to the overworld and Alex shows up and follows him around helping him farm or chop wood or what ever. Once the player, Steve, sees Alex he has to hurry and use the enderpearls to craft a nice pearl necklace to give to Alex. If he doesn't then she disappears like all the other girls do. If he does she stays around. Then he has to mine some gold and diamond and give her a ring. Then she stays you know? Look I'm just tired of talking to my sheep and all the endergirls disappear once I get to them so .....yeah, that's it. I mean we could actually win for a change
I think it would be cool if the ender dragon had a second phase like when we kill it the first time it will pop from the explosion and it will look different with more powerful attacks and triple the health and damage and resistance to explosions so nobody will cheese it with the beds strategy again and it will force us to get better gear bc you can easily kill it with only iron equipments
A new biome for the end Dark Peaks A Dark and mysterious place With new structures The end needs a cave so this biome is a cave biome New mob:End Brute
However, it is still too early to talk about 1.22, if it really turns out to be an end update I would like it to be structured on the nether update. In addition to adding new biomes to the end, I would like to add a new mineral to the nether, maybe platinum, less powerful diamond and netherite, but that would be essential not to be attacked by a new mob in the end (perhaps only findable in the end cities), and to trade with it. To it you could match the equivalent of netherite, the enderite that would give access to the most powerful armor and tools of all, obtainable by combining in the table blacksmith a platinum bar to some sort of Ender debris.
Here's an item idea: a boot that makes you jump low gravity so that you can you traverse the end a little easier. Whenever you jump you go really up and that could be really annoying so by holding crouch, you go downwards really fast. This can be paired with the mace. This could be built from the shiny crystals this video mentioned abt or it could be completely different depending on what unique material Mojang decide to implement to the game
Can you upload the mod on RUclips with a link when you are done? Also could you add a purple lotus biome with green and purple lumonesince lotuses and hanging vines with a few small trees. Also make the water cyan. It would be great if you did my suggestions thanks
I agree that the end should be updated by I also struggle with what that update should be. Let’s say the end adds 4 new biomes, to be on par with the nether (not including the current endstone biome). A ‘Chorus Forest’ is a decent enough if unoriginal idea. But I think it can be made interesting in a few ways. Basically, make a purple tree with a super janky generation pattern, like perhaps have it so that rather than just sitting atop the terrain like most trees, the tree actually runs fully down end stone island, peaking out at the top and bottom.
No, a "chorus forest" should have giant chorus trees. No purple grass, no leaves, just chorus, perhaps there could be some type of flying mob that pollinates the chorus (which are the reason they are so big)
You should have a look at the mod stellarity personly I feel like it does a great job of what you talk about however it does not completely change the game which is really nice
Hey I have question about stellarity Does it work with mods that add structures to the end cuz I’m Trying to figure out if I should add it to my mod pack Also does it add end islands at different heights
I think if they do a end update they should include the mod:End remastered: which changes how you get to the end Instead of getting ender eyes normally each structure has there own unique eyes and you have to go to all the structures to get all the eyes and once you get all the eyes you have to go to a huge pillager castle which guards the strong hold: It’s a really fun mod and I personally think it would fit the vanilla style nicely Plus it only changes how you get to the end so it would leave room for mojan to update the rest of the end
No, i like the concept of having to get different eyes to acess the end but that mod executes this idea really poorly, it adds 9000000 new steps to get to the end, it not requires EVERY structure which is already tedious but also requires ylu to craft an item of all ores (including netherite), it isnt fun. A better idea would be if each side of the portal required of an eye of each dimension (not each slot), for example, one side would require to be filled with eyes of ender (overworld), then the other with eyes of mortem (nether), the other with eyes of leviathan (potential cold/water dimension) and the other with eyes of corruption (caves)
The end is a barren place filled with nothing tho maybe the end will get its own update tho yeah honestly its so awesome to have a end update tho actually maybe both things could be great of the end is my most favorite tho its actually great
I think they could make it so the ender dragon is instead of being an adult a juvenile or child and then make it so if you respawn it but isntead with an upgraded much harder to get end crystal variant the end arena starts cracking and then flinging to a nearby ring like end island and then make you fight a newly revealed elder ender dragon that’d be 4X the size of the end arena and also have the obsidian pillars be like a crown on it and then once you defeat it you get a new weapon or armor or maybe a new material spawns in the end and the end arena goes back to normal waiting for you to revive the elder or juvenile ender dragon maybe when you fight the juvenile one for the first time it blurs out the juvenile part in the boss title until after you kill it
Most the things you say i think are good. But i really wan't at least to have a ruined end ship in the end. That have some different variants and some variants have like a broken elytra or just don't have a elytra, because that part is then broken where the elytra used to be.
end could have an optional boss like the wither at the nether and also has 2 more extra mobs more than just that optional boss fight 1 of them being a golem like and the other an naturaly spawning and it would have only 1 more type of biome so it would have 2 types of biomes the waste lands and smth like a horror or good looking forest
see i think they should start bringing over features from dungeons into normal MC its not like they are against the idea of doing that either given they held a vote for the iceologer to be in the game the end could do very well with the biomes seen in MCD maybe even add the structures from MCD as well just more ruined though the end citys and end ships arent ruined so maybe they should be keeped intact. one thing i didnt see you touch on is the stronghold which is argueably tied to the end itself i really think it needs abit of a visual overhaul something akin to the trial chambers [not saying to make them look like them just update it to modern standards]
That's EXACTLY what I tell everyone whenever I talk about an End update. It MUST NOT make the End feel more alive, less lonely, less alien, less barren. Somehow new structures biomes and mobs must be added to maintain the same balance. It sounds extremely hard but if I have any faith in Mojang it is in their creative department.
DO THIS MOJANG. Using chorus fruit as a potion ingredient creates "potion of teleportation" which on its own acts exactly the same as chorus fruit.. BUT if you make tipped arrows with it, allows you to aim your teleportation. You shoot a block, it teleports you there. Like ender pearls. But arrows which can stack 4x more per slot AND can do damage to mobs 🤔
Also what if when you hit another Mob with a splash potion or arrow of teleportation it teleports them randomly like a chorus fruit 🤔 so using the arrow on an enemy teleports them elsewhere and you take their place
honestly i think that changing the name of the dimension would be kinda a good idea, idk what it would be called instead but "the end" is not a very good name imo like the idea that once you beat the dragon you've reached the end of minecraft just feels kinda wrong to me? i feel like changing it would alleviate some complaints about things like that it isn't like something that *needs* to happen but it'd be a good idea imo would like take some getting used to for sure but like you can just adjust i feel idk i just think minecraft having something called the end despite being a sandbox game feels like wrong and really shouldnt be there idk where else you'd put the credits though? like idk some people see credits and think end anyways so it's probably fine?
Hey everyone just a little reminder liking is completely free and subscribing too!!!
Personally, I disagree, I think it should have a lot of greenery. Just make it look very annoying. To me, that's the best part of mod for the end.
Plus if it didn't have any greenery and stuff, it just won't be very exciting.

This would be really cool, actually. Might go with something like this for the design of some of my End mod mobs, if u don't mind that ofc.
Well I mean if they did it in base minecraft that is, they really need to update the end as minecraft dungeons does it right
They should legit just add it to the base game.
Minecraft dungeons is in another universe though. Legends is also canon, and that has crazy piglin monstrosities
And of course, adding such powerful gear would allow to add more challenging bosses, events, structure variants and more!
in regards to your idea of a new end ore/material id say make it pretty rare and make the crafting recipes need large amounts of other rare items but depending on the other items used you get a different unique weapon... again they have a huge pool of different weapons and equips in MCD to draw from, give us a giant heavy slow af anchor or dual knives with completely unique enchantments that cant be found anywhere else... that would be cool and a game changer for multiplayer
also grappling hook would be awesome
Itd be cool if after crafting something, a massive blackhole opened and the Eldritch entity that comes out of it seeps energy into the surrounding biome and thats where the new shrubbery and crystals come from.
Its a bit out there and needs to be workshopped, but it would allow for explanations of where the shrubbery comes from

@@TechbotHimselfWe need an End Update. 😭
Every Minecraft end update video makes me think about Minecraft's final update
So imagine a "desert temple" or a "villager" or a "cow" but entirely made out of solid end stone, maybe even so old that purpur grows on it, and maybe you could vary the amount of "weathering" each structure has to make it feel like over time the endermen have truly forgotten what the original purpose of those structures were
yapper
great points but that wall of text jumpscared me lol
@@arkimedeez I do be yapping fr
If you come prepared getting these mobs will be worth it as it could be a pet but it’s going to need some major downsides to balance out the elytra’s value.
please use punctuation, I had a stroke reading that
Anyways, I agree with the whole “desolate void” idea of the end, and varying altitudes would make for cool forms of exploration
@@stardustcell Sorry about that 😅
no bro that’s boring I want it to look like better end, and also guys remember the nether used to be a barren wasteland until the nether update and it looks 10x better now and the end is also a barren wasteland rn
I just want The End’s void to be cooler. Like this one mod where there’s bright purple light stretching from the bottom to the top, but maybe have the lights fade as they go down?
Lots of shaders do this
i think a cool mechanic could be strapping new ender pearl variants to arrows that you can like remotely detonate with the right click. it would pair well with the mace and crossbows which are pretty under used. maybe you could have the multishot enchantment make little shadow clones of yourself that would throw off enemies and mobs but that might be a little far fetched lol
maybe there could be an enderpearl variant that pulls you along and creates momentum, so it would kinda feel like a grappling hook but more minecrafty.
this could also be paired with Elytra to help fly larger distances after you've been pulled into the air
The new mobs this would allow for endermen and maybe even corrupted illagers
The biomes should remain alien and mostly desolate, with biomes such as the End Wilds from dungeons, fields of obsidian, mountains of a new stone type with large glowing crystals.
About the grappling hook: if the player was to obtain it in the End, wouldn't it be placed at the wrong point of progression? I imagine it being most useful in caves or the Nether, so what would be the point of it in the End, when the player already has an Elytra (or is very close to obtaining one)?
Although... with teleportation and flying already baked into the dimension, making the End's rewards all about ease-of-movement for the late-game would be very cool! Double jump or anti-grav, as mentioned in the video - though I'd find it way more fun if the WHOLE dimension already had some sort of anti-grav, floatier jumps by default.
i think something important for the End is adding as many beautiful blocks as possible exclusive to the dimension. It's the "end" goal of the game, after which you no longer have an extrinsic motivator to continue playing
adding new pretty blocks to seriously inspire players would do a lot to keep them motivated even after defeating the Dragon.
0:13 why is there a shield on the ground?
Idk
I think very rare end forests could at least break up the end and make it feel slightly separate from the openness, but it could be a Chorus forest
Idea for End block: A block that when you step on it, teleports you to its directly below counterpart, (a version under the end islands) and drops you into the void.

@@christianmarx3249 yes, DEATH
💀
Something similar to marvel’s vibranium, when enderite armour is charged when you’re hit it gives an explosive effect and the tools like axes, pickaxes and swords produce the explosive effect when you hit something and
Charged enderite pickaxes can mine bedrock.
I agree
They will not make a 2 part update again.
It would be great if we could also make backpacks which give you more inventory space, you equip it onto your back, but above armour.
The idea of nethetite vs enderite would start a player war
The yellow grassland biome from dungeons should also be added. Gives a bit more connection to the separate games.
i think something like the tempest golem or the (vengeful) heart of ender from minecraft dungeons would fit the eemy wave format a lot better. or, y'know, something like mithrix in risk of rain 2 with an enemy wave intermission before continuing the fight with added mob spawns
3:09 I completely agree with this video but ive been thinking for a few years there should be like a end Oasis that would be super rare
Adding in some floating, Guardian-like eyes would be good. Dimensional doors like
I think it should be similar to the nether update and add biomes and add 3rd dimeonal isalnd is some biomes but still having it not as much "life" to the end as the nether.
Imagine an Ender Totem that lets you teleport to the set spawn, could be a 25% drop from a new end dungeon boss

@@TechbotHimself Minecraft end is garbage.😡
What's with the insistence of the End not feeling "alive"?. Things live there, there's even plants. Why does it have to be so empty?? why can't we have greenery??
The main issue is if it’s too lush, it won’t retain the alien-like feel of the End.
Making it so breaking the leafs can drop endermites.
Subbed and liked great video
Legend!
a new dragon attack could be the dragon flying and landing on pillars or floating endstons islands around the main one to heal, and flying under the main end island and coming up in a random spot to attack the playef
the dimension in the void needs an update. I'm disappointed to say the least that the dimension is already looke like it's empty since v1.0.0.
overhauling the ender dragon fight will be a great idea make it more harder
YES🎉🎉🎉
Everything you said sounds amazing but I think to just add a couple of new biomes and ores
A new biome for the end
Dark Peaks
A Dark and mysterious place
With new structures
The end needs a cave so this biome is a cave biome
New mob:End Brute
Idea:strider but for the end/void insted of lava and vertical generation for the islands
I honestly want the end to be more space like
However, it is still too early to talk about 1.22, if it really turns out to be an end update I would like it to be structured on the nether update.
We don’t really have a problem with how we want the new end to look cause Minecraft has already given us a perfect look with the dungeons version
A Void Totem would be great to save you if you fall in the void
Minecraft 1.22: “RETURN TO ENDER”
I am working on my own end/convenience mod. I will keep all of these in mind!
Can you upload the mod on RUclips with a link when you are done? Also could you add a purple lotus biome with green and purple lumonesince lotuses and hanging vines with a few small trees. Also make the water cyan. It would be great if you did my suggestions thanks
Funnily enough there has been a new 1.22 leaker showing screenshots in the end
I’ve been trying to check mods out but it’s taking me a bit to set them up but I’ll be sure to add it to the list!
Hey I have question about stellarity
Does it work with mods that add structures to the end cuz I’m Trying to figure out if I should add it to my mod pack
Also does it add end islands at different heights

dude ur actually super underrated
"Sprucen" is my new favorite word
That Was super duper awesome and all of those ideas are amazing and will make sense for the End I can really see and picture this
I think if they do a end update they should include the mod:End remastered: which changes how you get to the end
Instead of getting ender eyes normally each structure has there own unique eyes and you have to go to all the structures to get all the eyes and once you get all the eyes you have to go to a huge pillager castle which guards the strong hold:
It’s a really fun mod and I personally think it would fit the vanilla style nicely
Plus it only changes how you get to the end so it would leave room for mojan to update the rest of the end
@@KattyKitten69 ok to be fair I only watched videos of it and never actually played it

remember me when ur famous
Got u dawg
Dude I be been waiting for this update scince 1.16
I just hope that the new Minecraft update is 👍🏻
yk everyone is talking about how they want an end update…
but i want to know why the end is destroyed (floating islands)
This is genuinely underrated. 😵
That have some different variants and some variants have like a broken elytra or just don't have a elytra, because that part is then broken where the elytra used to be.
i like this idea(not too much but better)
2:47 with a form of purplis grash
If they do an end update then they need to do something with the dragon egg. Make it hatch and let us ride it or something else
I hope the add a scythe to the end update
end could have an optional boss like the wither at the nether and also has 2 more extra mobs more than just that optional boss fight 1 of them being a golem like and the other an naturaly spawning and it would have only 1 more type of biome so it would have 2 types of biomes the waste lands and smth like a horror or good looking forest
What is the mod with the cool animation you used about halfway through the view
I respect your opinion, and to satisfy everyone, they can add a toggle of classic end or updated end. Everyone would win and get what they want
you could just change the version in the launcher
@@Horizons76-ez3yb xbox doesn't have the Minecraft launcher, so I recommend something for everyone
then they should do that for every update ever
@KwikBR bruh. Most changes are easy and texture changes. Also there's something called mods. Open your room temperature brain.
I just wish a fauna and flora update or a prehistoric update
A solution I thought of is to make everything in the end on a huge scale
see i think they should start bringing over features from dungeons into normal MC its not like they are against the idea of doing that either given they held a vote for the iceologer to be in the game the end could do very well with the biomes seen in MCD maybe even add the structures from MCD as well just more ruined though the end citys and end ships arent ruined so maybe they should be keeped intact. one thing i didnt see you touch on is the stronghold which is argueably tied to the end itself i really think it needs abit of a visual overhaul something akin to the trial chambers [not saying to make them look like them just update it to modern standards]
Minecraft dungeons did it best. I want mojang to adapt some of those things.
honestly i think that
changing the name of the dimension would be kinda a good idea, idk what it would be called instead but "the end" is not a very good name imo
like the idea that once you beat the dragon you've reached the end of minecraft just feels kinda wrong to me?
i feel like changing it would alleviate some complaints about things like that
it isn't like something that *needs* to happen but it'd be a good idea imo
would like take some getting used to for sure but like you can just adjust i feel
idk i just think minecraft having something called the end despite being a sandbox game feels like
wrong and really shouldnt be there
idk where else you'd put the credits though?
like idk some people see credits and think end anyways so it's probably fine?
Am I the only one who heard “purplis grash”? 2:45
