i just dont know how to build and it sucks because just live in a village with a maxed out set

So recently my mates and I started a modded minecraft server and I was super excited since it is prominence 2 with a whole load of other mods which I've been dying to try out. My entire plan right now is literally to build a cyberpunk city since I love Cyberpunk 2077. I've been designing and getting some rough calculations for how much resources I'll need. I even learnt redstone and the create mod so I can make some cool machinery to make the city even better. But half of my mates rn are already industrialising. One has already gotten a nuclear reactor and has visit other planets. Whilst the other has already gotten maxed out gear and just op stuff in general. Meanwhile one friend of mine isn't back home for another 10 days. By the time he gets on he's just going to be left behind and it's going to suck for him. They try to progress way too fast and it gets so frustrating. They abandoned our last server where I was building an underwater Atlantis with a hidden steampunk city underneath. But never finished because they just abandoned it. I love my friends to death but sometimes playing games with them gets very very draining with their lack of appreciation of the progression of the games we play and instead just becoming op as quickly as possible.

Hot take. The end update will not happen and it shouldn’t. Most players never even enter the stronghold and even fewer know that you need to go back to the end with a ender pearl to throw in a small box in the sky that is hard to spot. The end doesn’t need anything and could just stay as is and most players wouldn’t even realise.

Chest variants suck because I don’t want the hassle of having to keep track of what wood I’m using. It is way more annoying than helpful

yes! in 1 of my hardcore worlds, i got a good spawn. I got bored of it quickly after i got 5 dogs and iron tools and armor. So, I brought me and my dogs voyaging (We rode boats across the ocean) I visited a jungle, saw some cool biomes, and I finally found a savanaah were i could make wolf armor to brig the dogs adventuring. instead of quitting a world, go explore, you'll find a diffrent biome eventually

It's called a Jungle temple, i don't know about you, but it doesn't look much like a pyramid to me lol

What i do is have a singleplayer world longterm than have a 2 week phase with the boys for one having the two week phase with mods or even not refreshes me then i can hop back onto my singleplayer world

My personal tip for collecting would be to collect music disks; they are a challenge to get, and lot of them have different ways to get them, keeping you from getting bored

great video, my personal favourite is tip 10, because if you do this over and over and over each time you get that 2-week-minecraft-phase, soon you'll have a world with maybe 20 little bases and someday you'll go visit all of them in one world. Just make sure to put up signs for timestamps!

Use cheats! I disabled structures and running, but gave me permanent regen. (yes, I dislike the adventure update and combat update, how do you know? ^^)

I have started my save yesterday and my plan is to build something like a kingdom where everything is connected with dirtroads and later maybe even a railroad :D My first plan is to build a big village with villagers (i already kidnapped two and they reproduced lol) and when i am done with that i will continue (i hope so haha). A castle would be nice to build and other smaller places.

my main technique is to build that much good builds where if i restart it feels like im actually leaving something behind

I think part of this is because we cannot be satisfied by this world (including games). Playing Minecraft is fine of course but try to relate back to Jesus Christ then you won't have to strong arm yourself to play longer in Minecraft.

Tbh... all of these "problems" could be fixed with a simple click. Play hardcore. Being able to respawn is easy. Not being able to is not. This makes you more INVESTED. If youre not INVESTED, then you simply dont care about the world. If you have a hardcore world of 3 years of daily play... chances are that will be a world that means something to you. Good video nonetheless, needs to be taught more especially to the ipad generation.
