After over 2 years of dreaming about this video coming to life, it doesn't feel real but it's finally here. It's undoubtedly one of the most epic journeys we've been on and I hope you all enjoy it half as much as we enjoyed making it.. 32:22 fun fact: with the pokio, gushen, and frog you can actually get into the red maze in Wooded with an uproot. You need to lure an uproot to the little elevator thing and then once he stretches up he can open the entrance. With the frog you can also enter from the exit. Either way, gushen won.
There's a moon in wooded that I believe pokio can get that Falc missed, the tank moon where you have to break a part of the wall. The moon is spawned even before breaking the wall for it, and pokio should be able to extend his nose through the wall with a mid-air spin to grab the moon.
I think it’d be cool if we could see how all the Captures fair in every kingdom, not just if they get stopped at the first few stairs in Cap Kingdom, or the like. Give my bois the RC Car and A a chance! Edit: apparently Fir’s gonna do this on their channel soon, so keep an eye out!

Hang on, I had a thought: Sure, the captures aren't given any free bosses if they aren't mandatory, but that doesn't mean bosses are off-limits entirely right? Would the Gushen or Pokio be able to defeat the boss in Wooded? Edit: Fir released a similar video with different rules, from which I determined that yeah, some captures actually ARE capable of damaging some unintended bosses. Sadly, Gushen is incapable of damaging the bosses of Wooded and Lake (despite being able to hurt the one in Cap sometimes), and while a method of getting the Frog past Sand was discovered Single-Player, it was only able to get 13 Moons that way in Wooded. Enough to consider the tiebreaker kingdom, but there the only Moons it could grab Single-Player was, ironically, the boss, so it still doesn't advance past that end point. Pokio however... not only is that one capable of damaging the Lake Boss, it also damages the Wooded Boss. Which means, according to the rules of this video, Pokio is indeed capable of naturally progressing out of Wooded and into the next kingdom, making it the true winner of the survival contest! ...only to then fail against the Bowser fight in Clouded. Oh well, a win's a win! No, wait, that's a freebie under these rules isn't it? In _that_ case, Pokio is also capable of making it past Lost, but is then incapable of making it to the mainland of Metro, which means it's NOT a free pass.
@devoutmordexfollower5289 Pokio is designed to interact with Mecha-Broodal, and Gushen with the Octopus King. I don't know if that extends to other bosses, but as those just happen to be the two finalists...
I am SO HAPPY GUSHEN WON! my heart was POUNDING when he said the lake kingdom moons would count to total but I guess he forgot about the chest in sand kingdom, I think it was sand kingdom, anyway, this video was amazing, and I had entertainment while rec room was downloading on my switch! I’m pretty sure there’s a glitch that allows you to move the chain chomp, but I don’t blame you for not trying, it’s really slow and the chomp wouldn’t be able to make it up the stairs anyway.
As a gushy gang and a pokio pal, I'm glad that both finished so close, even if one won by so little and broke the tie, both still are the trues goats Respect also to the frogs fans, although I already had doubts about him who was just a big jump, he would have made a hell of a journey outside his little pool of water 💚
Ok I watched Fir's video before this one so I'm gonna make this quick. Fir found out that tropical wiggler can climb up anything if you stretch him enough. I don't know if this counts as a glitch... but if it doesn't, wiggler could've totally beat the cap kingdom stairs. Also, pokio can spin to open chests.

I’ve always said I wish Mario Odyssey let you transform into any enemy you want at any time as like a post game unlockable or something. Pretty much just turn it into Skylanders trap team because that’s one of the best games of all time.
Well then Falc, it seems we have a Mario Wonder revival. And if you competed with the captures to see who is the best, I say it’s time for Super Mario Odyssey….. ENDGAME.
This is the story of a frog, a pokio and a gushen. The three went on separated adventures with the goal of being the best. The little frog wasn't as powerful as its competitors but got through many challenges. A dry desert could have end it all thanks to its weight, but a sheep was there to help. It was all going well, until it got to the forest where it just couldn't hop high enough. The pokio climbed every wall and destroyed everything in its path, getting through walls and jumping to the moons, but it was unable to open things stronger than it, ending its path in the lake, where the water covered its way to the win. The gushen smartly used its water to get to the highest places and fly over the void, there was nothing that could stop it, except for its own bubble running out of water. A wall tried to stop it, and it just played around until it got over it and open the chest that gave it its victory.
I like how Mr. Falcon wears a suit throughout the video. Makes it feel like an important government announcement confirming which Mario enemies I are the most versatile.
8:45 From what I remember having seen some Super Mario Oddessy Hide and Seek, it is possible for the parabones to go higher if against a wall(just takes a really long time is all😂)He was robbed a victory!!😂 As for with Bowser, I remember there's a way to make him climb up walls(have seen it in some speedruns, but I feel less confident that he'd have been able to make it since I think it's the way the walls are in the sections I've seen that type of movement)
0:58 paragoombas and parabones don't need too much mashing to fly right, but the height limit of their flying is tied directly to the highest point you've jumped off of during the capture 3:30 you could've stood on the railing (not like they stood a chance against the frog room) 7:29 maybe he could have gotten up the first platform by jumping off the railing, but I don't think he'd get further 20:55 not sure, but maybe the frog could have bounced off that thingy that shoots cappy further? 22:39 Pokio also has a Spin Attack, you hold the beak out then spin, it might do the trick (could be faster at 22:56 at least)
I was just thinking that. He might not be able to reach the top of those steps, but it would have been more progress in Cap Kingdom than some of the other non-jumpers.
SPOILERS Well, I'm not mad for good ol' Frog getting only 3rd place, considering he is the first capture of the game. He did great for his standards, and I appreciate that. 🐸 Team Frog!
Wait, how did Parabones get eliminated in Cap kingdom? It should be able to fly to the end just like Paragoomba. Also, the Gushen CAN open chests by spraying down on them. You actually did it in sand kingdom! Very annoying that you just forgot after that until the very end.
I am literally so happy that gushin won. In the first or second Minute i said gushin and frog have a good chance of winning Also gushin is my favorite capture so i was super happy seeing it progress further and further. To 4 contestans to 3 to 2 and finally 1. One Singular winner. And its gushin no its the gushin gang. What a journey. Thank you for this video. Gushin gang always prevails.

The wall on the top hat tower was sloped, lakitu might have been able to get some height off of the sloped wall and get to the door

This is the story of a frog, a pokio and a gushen.
The three went on separated adventures with the goal of being the best.
The little frog wasn't as powerful as its competitors but got through many challenges. A dry desert could have end it all thanks to its weight, but a sheep was there to help. It was all going well, until it got to the forest where it just couldn't hop high enough.
The pokio climbed every wall and destroyed everything in its path, getting through walls and jumping to the moons, but it was unable to open things stronger than it, ending its path in the lake, where the water covered its way to the win.
The gushen smartly used its water to get to the highest places and fly over the void, there was nothing that could stop it, except for its own bubble running out of water. A wall tried to stop it, and it just played around until it got over it and open the chest that gave it its victory.

From what I remember having seen some Super Mario Oddessy Hide and Seek, it is possible for the parabones to go higher if against a wall(just takes a really long time is all😂)He was robbed a victory!!😂
As for with Bowser, I remember there's a way to make him climb up walls(have seen it in some speedruns, but I feel less confident that he'd have been able to make it since I think it's the way the walls are in the sections I've seen that type of movement)
