Yes, please do an in depth video guide! I personally never dabbled with video because I can't find 1 place that explains everything well enough. Thanks ahead of time, keep up the awesome work! :)
ABSOLUTELY!!!! Video is my #1 favorite subject. I'm working on this one right at this very moment -- It may be after a few others first, as it will take some time to put together properly, etc. GREAT suggestion and I really appreciate your letting me know about what you want to see on this channel.
Sergio!!!! Wow!!!! Thank you so much!! Or, I should say, Eso realmente significa mucho para mí, ¡muchas gracias por sus lindos comentarios! Me alegraste el día ... bueno, haz que sea todo mi MES. Por favor manténgase en contacto y gracias de nuevo!
Yeah, I have to get into a groove with this. I redid the studio to be able to somewhat speed up the production time. I'd love to do 2 per week, but will be thrilled if I can even get one out each week. It's the editing that takes so long... though I guess I'll get better at the one day, LOL. Thanks again man and I'll see ya soon!!!!!
Wow, Cesar!!!! Thank you so much man!!! 🙏🙏 That really means so much to me!!!! Please keep in touch and I'll see you around this electronic campfire!!! :-)
Wow, Brett!!! Seriously, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! 🙏 [TOTALLY SPEECHLESS NOW] I'm trying to get more produced.... I may need to make them a bit shorter--- as the length and editing time is crazy long for YT!!! You ROCK sir!!!!!
I like the trick with two attachments , was already feeling awkward vlogging around but with this 😁 you definitely tricked the YT algorithm too 😄 love it . Love your energy , cheers.
Hey Jess, thank you sir!!!! So funny as my subscribers dropped AFTER I published the video. YT is on to me dammit!!!!!! Take care buddy and keep in touch!!!!!!
The elephant in the middle of the room for vlogging is image stabilization. This is why, for me anyway, the X-T3 will probably lose out the G9 when all is said and done, and I'd rather have the X-T3 for pretty much everything except image stabilization. I'd love to have an X-T3... but "da stabe" prevents lots of "da shakes," and that's valuable, too.
Thank you so much Brenden!!!! 🙏 Yeah, the monitors are a ROYAL PAIN. The flip around mirror is a great compromise. I had an Atomos Ninja V hooked up just today and I was lugging a rig around the size of Wyoming.
Thanks for the tip on the front dial and continuous video. Keep the videos coming I'm keeping the x-t3 the perfect camera. tried the x-h1 it's a brick and hurts my hand big hands I still like the g9 way more comfortable grip and a cheap flip screen seems flimsy like it could just snap off. But I don't blog and may never need too Nice work around on using a mirror Fuji made this camera for people who film and take pictures They may listen and some day give us and flipout screen but then camera conspiracy would have to shut down his Chanel's because we would have the perfect camera.
Can you please do another video for “youtubers” like you recommend this if you are a makeup artist ect... im starting my youtube channel and I LOVE YOUR VIDS! 👌🏼💜
Thanx! I'm not a verrry vlogging person, but sometimes it's necisity to talk with lens😞(she never talk back 😟). Knoving right settings is very appriciated in thous cases! Thanx!!! 👍👍👍
Thanks!! Yeah, for me it's both the battery issue, but just the overall lag and slowness using the app. I guess I'm just a fast/hyper person, LOL, and using that app is just SLOOOOOW for me.
great content...I just started my RUclips channel during the quarantine and due to having a lot of free time. Shooting the XT3 and can't quite.get my exposure right... New to video...I tried shooting Eterna film sim...also tried F log and a basic color grade in Davinci Resolve. It looks half way there, but can't quite get the crisp video I see like yours and other pros on RUclips. Any advice? using a godox led as a key out of a double diffused softbox and an LED for the background light. Thanks!
Thanks for the great video! I'm curious, what is the lens you've filmed this video? It's so crisp with a nice bokeh for background. I'd like to get it if possible for talking head videos :)
I really like that you show the settings on the screen,so many youtubers don't. Really helpful! Can I have a tutorial on long exposure and settings if possible please? Do you need ND filters etc etc
Thank you so much!!!! Ok, so I see two videos: one on long exposure shooting and the other on the ins/outs of the various ND filters!! Check and roger that!!! Thank you and I've added to the list of VIDEOS I NEED TO MAKE SOON!!
@@pal2tech That would be so awesome! It's the one thing I really cannot get my head around. Tried taking long exposures at night and daytime and all have sucked lol
Thanks for the great info! Just got an X-T3, recorded my last couple of RUclips videos on it but I am completely ignorant with cameras so the autofocus has been a bit jumpy etc. This video helps a lot :) Cheers. Liam
Hey Pal!! Just a quick question: I have an X-T3, I would like to start vlogging/video-producing staff but I think that my main problem is the IBIS. I still haven't tried yet to record videos but I was thinking to buy a different camera for this. I was thinking to the X-H1, that have IBIS, but is heavier and bigger than the X-T3. Do you have any other alternatives? Maybe Fuji or compact with IBIS and external mic input? Another option is to buy a Gimbal, but is another object that I have to bring with me. What do you think? Thank you so much!!
Hey Ruggero! OK, for vlogging, I'd say no to the X-H1 and even the X-T3. The X-T3 is a serious video camera -- and if using for paid client work, that's one thing. For basic vlogging, some of it is overkill and it's not ergonomically set up very well with no flip around screen, etc. I'd look into a Canon 80D or similar. They are better vlogging camera, fast auto focus, etc. If you still want more stabilization for Fuji, then consider a gimbal -- though that can be as expensive as getting a used Canon.
Many thanks! I don’t know if the video settings are good or not, but I’m using them and they seem to be working for me. Quick question. On this and another if your videos you say the frame rate and shutter speed need to be double / half (24 frame rate v. 1/48th), you if you’re shutter dial is in auto, does the camera auto set to 1/48th? Many thanks, and yes, I’ve just started YT and would appreciate a visit and feedback if you’ve time. Thanks
Hi mate. I have the xt30 - basically the same, but I din't see the change of codec setting anywhere.. Do you know why? Or are you able to help me out at all?

Hi Chris! Great Fujifilm stuff. Your videos are full of great info and personality. Thank you. Thank you. On my RUclips channel (ruclips.net/user/MichaelSladek) when recording in my home office, I use my 23" Dell display as my framing/focus monitor. It's already on my desk, and just consistently works. I tried using my iPad Pro with fuji app for framing and focus, but found it far too flaky. Again, thanks for the channel, and I look forward to your future content! Cheers :)
I also recommend the Movo VXR10 mic. It's better than the Rode Go/Micro (Based on the reviews I've watched. Search up Movo VXR10 vs. Rode Go or Rode Micro), comes with a dead cat, and it's even cheaper. amzn.to/2kF7JId
Cool!!! Thanks Adamaj!!! I'll look into that one as well. I just have been recently playing around with the Deity and starting to love that one as well. LOVE the fact the Movo comes w/ dead cat.
