A minute ago I yanked my phone out to distract myself from something that was frustrating me, and when I saw a new roundabout video from Steve Wallis at the top of the page, I was instantly at ease. That's the power these videos have! Thank you for continuing to do what only you could do.
Only Steve would look out the window of his hotel and say "wow ,that roundabout looks like a real nice spot, i'm going to check out and spend the night there instead"
The thing I love about the round-about camp, is that it's a place that's so clearly not intended for people to camp there, yet also not a place anyone would bother thinking someone would camp or make a law against. Plus it's right there in the middle of so many people and so much traffic, but completely invisible.
Back to where it all began! This was the first video I saw on your channel. Every time I go around a roundabout I think “I wonder if Steve is in there!”. Thanks for another great video Steve! ❤

You're right about the origin of "Campeau", it is indeed French :) I believe it was a surname meaning someone who lived near a field or open area! This would make sense, considering the use of the verb "to camp." :D I love your videos, Steve, and all the best from the UK! 😁⛺
