Death would have been Fair, not Letting him live on the taxpayers dime for the rest of his life. He deserves the same fate he gave his victims. DEATH! But he looks like a little white kid with mental health issues so he gets to keep living his victims do NOT. Tell that to the parents of the victims that this judge did an awesome job.

I am a Canadian who has watched 90% of the available videos. I have been involved in law for 30 plus years. This defender team is atrocious. There is very little professionalism. I think the Judge handled herself very well. The antics shown by the most unprofessional defence team actually made me physically ill. They should all be barred from ever representing any client. Any Judge that could contain her anger and still administer justice is commendable! Not that the defenders didn’t try her patience in an attempt to railroad her into a mistrial. Is there any backbone in making people accountable?
Disbarment for all of them, a disgrace to the justice system of any country.

People here blaming the judge for giving him Life Sentences instead of Death Penalty have no idea how the judicial system works...
When it comes to Life sentences vs Death Penalty; It's the juror which decides Nicks fate, not the judge; IF JUST 1 JURY MEMBER disagreed with the death penalty, then it immediately turns into a life sentence. The judge only voices what the jury decides.
There's nothing else she could do more than impose additional jail restrictions; And that's exactly what she did.
