As soon as we have exotic class items, use renewals & synthos (or liars if preferred). Duskfields grant frost armor, helping apply the Shieldcrush melee buff. With frost armor + galvanic armor + winters shroud damage resist buff, you don't need silence & squall for super, instead go golden gun for good single target ranged burst and restoration per orb pickup, helping with survivability. can use the fragment that gives health regen on melee kill as well, if desired. with all this you don't really need the invis from stylish, go with threaded specter and create billions of strand clones all over the place as you dodge, drawing aggro away from your entire fireteam and opening up another fragment slot. I'm predicting calibans will be TOO effective; when you blow up everything near you, there's nothing to keep dodging and punching to keep ability energy rolling in. and with the amount of stasis shatters you get, it's just too much dipping into the same pot.

Assassin's Cowl's biggest weakness was starting the chain. Because you needed to get close while visible. With the changes to Stylish Executioner you can now apply any debuff to go into invisibility from a distance, then run in to start chaining your melee safely. Since your build effectivity covers Assassin's Cowl's benefits you are free to use any other exotic in the game. Liar's handshake is a natural pair since it's biggest downside was Assassin's Cowl existing. But you can go with others. I started the campaign using Celestial Nighthawk, and it pairs with this build incredibly well too, since one of the fragments causes hits from your charged melee to make you Radiant, which buffs your Nighthawk. Weave between adds with invisibility then pop out for a very quick Nighthawk shot. It's been VERY useful for the legendary campaign so far. I've also been loving the grapple grenade, since it's melee applies unravel which will also trigger your Stylish Executioner. I also highly recommend a Slice gun, since you're dodging so much you'll be able to apply Sever whenever you want, which is ANOTHER debuff you'll be dishing out that can get you back into invisibility, as well will decrease the damage you take from that enemy which really helps since you're in melee range. (A Slice One Two Punch shotgun would be absolutely BUSTED with this build.)
That's just... Ridiculously good. Use any gun that applies debuffs to enemies as well, and you have a way to infinitely become invisible from a distance, allowing you to get close, dodge to slow the enemies which makes it harder for them to attack you, become visible for one second to get a melee kill, and then you can start the chain of becoming invisible and dodging to slow and freeze everything. Even without the exotic class item, just with liars handshake, the build is meta.
It is really elevated by the fact that Frozen targets take A LOT of extra dmg from melees, like up to 80% which is insane and it is easier to maintain combination blow without lethal current stealing your kills.
I made this same comment on another vid and got torn to shreds lol. I mean, they did this to give us more build options and the first build I see is the SAME punch build used in every season.
It has marksman Goldie AND tether. Don’t worry, it’s still going to be a good class without punching. The only thing gunslinger has over prismatic is empyrean and healing grenades, other than that it has strictly better neutral. A more ranged hunter could probably go threaded spike, gunpowder gamble and still be solid
You can run a Stylish Gambler build with Celestial. Use the fragment that makes it so light abilities do more damage to darkness debuff enemies. Then just go invis with stylish via Gamble grenade and/or debuffing weapon. Then, using either threaded spike or withering blade to apply both weakness and darkness debuff. Then pop Celestial for big damage.
@@Rose_.820 what r u doing? It has nothing but consecration x 3. There’s like no other synergy. Way less durable and survivable than the normal classes too
@@alaskayoung3413 there is a lot of synergy u can combo that up with. One of the fragments allow u to pick up elemental buffs based of your super which can grant u restoration while using hammer of sol. Or u can go twilight gap with precious scars and use suppression grenades to proc healing.
just saw the raid.. and thought - this was really good - the whole season so far has been mind-blowing. Then I thought, those guys, the Bungie workers that got laid off, none of this could have been possible without the work they did - no one will thank you cause everyone is too wrapped up in the here and now but isn't that the game? Because of what you created in the past is why people are entertained in the future, as is the curse of artists. That said, to the artists in the now and in the past - Amazing. Thank you for being a part of my life and for the experience you gave it. Of course - that means you too Mactics!
Thru the night on LEGEND campaign I was running the hunter grips for larger Duskfields to assist my general AOE gameplay doing solo and getting frost armor. Then I used Knucklehead radar the rest of the campaign with another Gaurdian whilst keeping duskfield grenade ON. Once prismatic hit… I was like, okay, there’s a lot going on here. This opens a lot of opportunities for builds.
I was sitting here at work thinking about builds around combination blow & stylish executioner when I thought about liars handshake. Then boom, I check RUclips & see mactics on the same page.
since learning about prismatic I was hoping I would be able to make a build that combined the speed/power of arc hunter with the enemy restriction of stasis. already had a prototype going but this video REALLY helped work out the final tweaks. much love for you mactics💙
When I got back into destiny that’s all I used lmfao so this just makes it even more OP AND FUN! I get to go all in with my smgs also anti barrier! Bruh! 2 more hours of work!!!
Shock and awe works with this build currently. So you dodge near 2 enemy, punch 1, dodge near 2nd and freeze. When you punch the frozen enemy, there's a frozen explosion and a lightning bolt comes down and strikes where the enemy was (because it's dead) and does a chain lightning to anyone near by... just like arc.
if u wanna use nighthawk... use prismatic. if u wanna use combination blow one punch man build... prismatic. if u wanna use tether with the tether exotic... use prismatic. if ur on hunter just use prismatic
This was the build I was workshopping when things were being revealed. It basically builds itself and there's no way Bungie wasn't making Prismatic Hunter decisions without knowing this is what people would gravitate towards. Like most builds of this nature, though, it will never really "perform" in raid content so you probably won't have to worry about it getting nerfed too hard. EDIT: You didn't mention this, but a weapon with Slice is good to have in your back pocket, like the new Strand Rocket Sidearm. With all the dodging going around, you'll be able to apply Sever to beefier/distant targets for additional damage resistance when desired, and since that's also a debuff, you can use it to go invisible without having to set up a Shroud dodge first.
@@Busy_on_bottom That's kinda wild though, anyone can just jump on prismatic hunter, and get a lot of this stuff by the second mission, and you get combination blow in the second mission as well, from a prismatic rewards chest. I've been using it, enemies can't do a thing to me. I just dodge and freeze them all, and if there's a really tanky enemy, I just use a duskfield grenade to keep it frozen and punch away. Also this is technically two exotics in one now, since we can now turn invisible while having liars handshake, and we get more resistance and damage buffs than arc 3.0.
@@infinitedeath1384 It's a really fun twist on an existing build. What's crazy is bungie usually gives us access to the weaker stuff first and the OP stuff later. Can't wait to see what's on the table once everything is unlocked.
@@Busy_on_bottom I feel sorry for Titans, they didn't get anything good on prismatic. I played on my titan, but it's so underwhelming compared to prismatic hunter. Warlocks also got some good options on prismatic.
Its insane to me how few people realize the power of a well-built/min-maxed combination blow + liars build is in certain encounters. I remember stacking melee resistance mods on my chest and taking my build into the Duality dungeon. Both my teammates were taking cover and running away from Caitl's charge but I could just walk up to Caitl and facetank her attacks while pelting her in the face with a one-two shotgun and easily healing from all damage thanks to liars. Also do note that the spirit perks on the class exotic don't give you the bump to health and shields that you get from the base liars handshake and assassins cowl.
I was piecing things together last night and ended up shocked at how OP this build felt. For the weapon I paired this with buried bloodline because I can also keep devour active the entire time I’m stabbing everything.
I builded this thing on my own, as the arc hunter was my favorite playstyle in lightfall... This is sooooo sick, i love it. Also nice is this combined with woven clone stuff... Create tons of clone around the battlefield and you got ice explosions, arc steikes and strand explosions... My ps5 yesterday freezes due to this firework 🤣
Thanks again for the best d2 content. Best build to date and I'm loving it. Thanks for the work you put in to get the community in full swing. As I see it, no one else compares to your content. Have a good one and can't wait for an update on this build if it can get any better lol
I wound up swapping the liar's handshake for wormhusk crown. Running a 1-2 punch shotgun I feel the constant health regen when combination blow is up and running helps me stay alive so much better if I overextend myself. This build is so fun tho! Keep it up man!
This is literally the best Hunter build I’ve used in forever. Used it (and I mean only it, hardly used my weapons) up to maybe 75% through the campaign when enemies began to hit harder than the healing afforded.
I used this to get past a tough Vex Taken Mind portion in the campaign on Legendary. This was the single most fun and terrifying 20 minutes of gameplay I have played in Destiny I think. This build is wild.
Not gonna lie I'm pretty sick of playing punch hunter, Liar's Handshake or Assassin's Cowl, same thing and it's been strong for so long I've gotten bored of it.
I did the entire legend campaign with gyrfalcons running double special, I had grapple grenade, stasis shuriken and I used the new ascension aspect, was a fun build with plenty of survivability, might not be 1 punching everything but I had constant Invis an volatile rounds, and I had constant melee, between the grapple power melle, my 2 shurikans and the ascension dodge melee I was cooking
Ran this build solo through Legendary FS, and besides the occasional gunfight that required I back off from CQC, this build was absolutely destroying. And what’s even crazier is you start right out the gate with 80-90% of this build done.
Not for nothing, but 95% of this build was posted in your discord a week before TFS dropped and only like an hour after content creators were showing off the other fragments.
I played a neigh identical build on my playthrough of TFS, but with Golden Gun Nighthawk, with the fragment that causes light side abilities to do more damage against targets suffering from a darkness debuff. So I threw a shuriken, which made me Radiant, which increases GG even more, popped my Super and since the shuriken applied Slow, the Target recieved more damage. 1-shotting all the bosses in the game so far, except the campaign bosses with Health Gates, where they get shielded. I'm saying neigh identical, because I too used Shroud Dodge, Stylish Executioner, etc
This is close to what I ran through the legendary campaign. I ran Grapple over Duskfield because movement, and also because the Grapple Melee can help with initial engagement, as it will apply Unravel and proc Stylish Executioner. Of course, now that I'm finished with the campaign and have unlocked the rest of the aspects and supers, I have ditched Silence and Squall and Stylish Executioner.
You can buff this build even further with 4th and 5th column artifact mods: - Radiant Orbs: gives radiant on orb pick up - Galvanic Armor: incoming damage from combatants is reduced while amplified (you get amplified from the arc kills) - Shieldcrush: While you have Woven Mail, Frost Armor, or a Void Overshield, your melee recharges faster and deals increased damage. While you have amplified or radiant, your grenade recharges faster and deals increased damage - Transference: Gain increased grenade and melee damage while transcendent. Weapon final blows while transcendent refund Light and Dark energy after Transcendence ends.
Maddox, I tried this. I’m like OK the same thing we’ve been doing forever my jaw dropped. I could not believe it. There’s no way bungees not Nerf Inness but damn is it fun? Unbelievable.!!!! Keep it up bro keep it up. Thank you. ❤
Truly... Being able to melee kill with liars handshake, which has a blade on it akin to one of the assassin's blades on the wrist in the assassin's creed games, while being invisible all the time is the essence of a hunter, and a skilled assassin. The dodge also slows enemies so they take longer to react to you, and the second dodge freezes them to incapacitate them, which is essentially a smoke bomb that freezes enemies. It's an outstanding improvement over needing assassin's cowl, and using aspects and fragments inferior to the ones on prismatic.
Punch Hunter is a build way more suited to solo play. As soon as you’re in a raid or nightfall/GM, all the lower level adds that you need to build combination blow get evaporated by the fireteam. I really can’t get into this style of play on Hunter at all, but there will be some cool combos on the exotic class items for it.
So I was curious and yes, you can DPS a boss with your fists. It's kinda tricky in legendary, but with x3 combination blow you're hitting so hard that it's on par with heavy weapons.
First off I’m a new sub. Second of all thank you for this amazing video and easy to understand. Some people show builds but don’t explain well. You did great on that
I tried this build last night. It's insane. Thank you! The only weird thing was the Final Shape mission I was using it on wouldn't drop motes from Fallen Captains on power melee kills. Only guns. Seems like a Bungie bug.
Wow this build is as fun as it is effective. I just used it to go toe to toe punching it out with two tormentors ending in finishers for both. Definitely the best time I ever had with tormentors. Thanks for this delightful build.
I'm so happy with Prismatic so far. I always wished I had a way to combine my favorite elements from different subclasses and I NEVER though I'd actually get to do it. Best I hoped for was a PVP or PVE game mode were you could mix and match for only that activity. Bungie knocked it out of the park with this subclass in my opinion. I've been rocking a less potent version of this build so far, I didn't even consider grapple grenade, but I will now, because I love the mobility even though I wasn't a fan of the rest of the Strand kit, and I forgot about the melee follow up. I'm using storms edge, just because it's so fun to dart around the maps, and instead of Liars Handshake (which I will try), I'm using The Dragon's Shadow and The Last Word. Freezing enemies sort of reduces the aim problems with TLW on m&k, and lets you clean up enemies with an always fully loaded TLW in super close quarters. Probably not optimal for end game content, but in on level content, I have never had so much fun as a hunter main. True yeehaw experience jumping and dodging and diving between enemies going right into fan fire. I feel like a hunter from a D2 cutscene. I think the only thing that would make this better is if we got Heavy Weighted Knife from solar, since I love that knife animation, and it will still refund class ability for an *almost* identical gameplay loop, even though it's less damage. Really excited to see what other build you come up with for hunter mactics. Prismatic Hunter looks like it will have so many fun builds!
This is pretty much what I already had on my arc class hunter. When I was last playing I did the combination blow + liars handshake to pretty much do anything. Seeing that it's not only still viable but upgraded is awesome.
regarding hunter primsatic builds - I suck at hunter so I've had trouble choosing between liars handshake arc build and void invis builds. Prismatic is pretty decent for hunters from what I've seen so far, I'm faaaarming the campaign on my 2nd class now (Prismatic hunter) even compared to my main that I'm actually proficient at (void lock) ....what a time to be alive haha! TFS is a damned good DLC. I was considering Witch Queen as my fave previously but now I'm even more conflicted - TFS is so much fun too!
Great video and details! I've been using my own version of this I call the 'Monte Python" build. just add a monte carlo to this mix and you'll never need to reload ever...the liars handshake has a snake on them hence the cheeky name ;P Also feat crafted ikelos shotgun with graverobber and trench barrel to reload and juice up on your melee kills
if you don't use the fragment that heals you on melee kills, assassin's cowl still has a place, since the invisible buff it provides is separate to stylish executionor, so when that's on cool down assassin's cowl invisible will still be available. it provides guaranteed invisibility if that's what is important to you.
Stylish Executioners cooldown is literally 2 seconds, that's so negligible that Assassin's Cowl makes no sense here. Also you double dip heal from Liars hits and Combo blow kills(and restoration orbs if you choose to run GG as your super). I just think Cowl is redundant on Prismatic imo. Great exotic, just seems pointless with Stylish Executioner being available ya know?
yeah but the cooldown of stylish executioner is so short that you really won't be using assassin cowl and without the fragment you still heal enough to be fine with frost armor, the only reason to take assassin cowl over liar handshake with prismatic would be fashion. liar's could be replaced by renewal thought for more control in situation where you can't really go melee monkey or if you want to be a melee gorilla with frost armor + restoration
@@Grassouillelafripouille which one? I didn’t see any fragment that heals you on melee kills in this build. All the fragments shown in this video just give you more damage resistance and damage
For some low tier content I’ve been using the taken strand shotgun with overflow/trench barrel with enhanced overflow you hold 18 rounds and unraveling rounds fragment
Considering that Assassin's Cowl also gives u invis on finisher final blows and the healing stacks with combo blow, i think it's not obsolete. Having more than 1 way to go invis is awesome
My build is: Celestial Nighthawk, Still Hunt, Gamblers Dodge, Combination Blow, Grapple, Golden Gun, Stylish Executioner, Winter’s Shroud, Facet of Dawn, Facet of Protection, Facet Of Purpose, Facet of Blessing, Facet of Hope. It’s Basically Assassin’s Cowl but more damage focused. Powered Melee’s Gives you radiant. Picking up orbs gives Restoration, Melee Kills heal even more so dw about healing, Getting Radiant or restoration gives you a boost to class regen speed, All that matters for mods is Harmonic Siphon(Optional), Special Ammo Finder, 1 Hands-On, 3x Heavy Handed, Reaper, Powerful Attraction, Distribution.
only thing inmost is actually doing is increasing your grenade regen...and inmost doesn't buff dmg only ability regen...your dodge already refunds your melee, and your melee refunds your dodge...it does help if you happen to lose your dodge though, but mods can take care of that (utility kickstart for example, since this build doesn't use or require weapon surge mods...or absolution/orbs of restoration/insulation...or all of those combined!)
For my add clearing once I unlocked it I was using Tether, paired with Still Hunt and Celestial Nighthawk, grapple, and I was back and forth on my melee. But the pairing of Tether and Celestial Still Hunt absolutely WIPES any group of ads, or in the mission with the pit full of taken bosses (if you know you know) I killed all of them with one well placed tether/GG sniper shot
One thing I’d change, is using threaded specter instead. Honestly don’t know if it’s intentional as this is the general reason radiant dance machine were nerfed into the ground, but it activates repeatedly. So much more crowd control with the threadlings and surprising amount of survivability from distracting enemies.
This is similar to the build I wanted to start prismatic out with, I wanted to use grapple melee because in my mind, it would get buffed by combination blow and then give both dark and light trancendance energy, it doesnt work that way, however, I’ve found that I can build transcendence INSANELY fast with winters shroud + threaded specter. I would recommend swapping out stylish executioner because you stil get crazy survivability with threaded specter, you can get an extra fragment slot, and you can build transcendence.
This build but renewal grasps and buried bloodline to stack frost armor and devour on top for extra survivability. That’s what I’ve been using for prismatic and it’s so good
Another fun build I ran was threaded specter with the freeze dodge, and instead of liars I used assassins cowl. Everything I dodge I would freeze and make a decoy as well as invis when I melee, all ads would die when they were near the decoy or shot at it.
Have already been playing with this build and can’t wait to pair it with the new Breachlight sidearm with Slice + (Desperate Measures / Swashbuckler) . Deals darkness damage to combo with combination blow to fuel transcendent along with the ability to constantly apply sever and 30% bonus damage.
I've always found survivability as a Hunter to be reliant on Void since Witch Queen because of invisibility, but this looks like it accomplishes the goal of surviving and hitting hard (no pun intended). Might try this out for my legendary run next week when I'm back from vacation. I'm nearly done with my normal run.
Not even mentioning that this season specifically we have Shieldcrush that will provide increased melee damage while you have Frost Armor (or Woven Mail or Void Overshield) AND Transference which will ALSO provide increased melee damage (and grenade) while you are transcendent. Not sure if we have the numbers on those melee buffs or if we know if they definitely stack with everything else here but that could buff this damage to an even more absurd damage multiplier. It's going to be absolutely INSANE if spirit of synthoceps on the prismatic class item provides the full +165% melee damage when surrounded on ALL Melee's instead of Liar's only buffing every other melee. Particularly as Synthos DOES work 100% with one-two punch which makes that a slightly more compelling option, particularly for boss DPS where you won't be invisible as easily.
Liar's handshake is better in more situations, because you need to be surrounded, whereas liars doesn't have that requirement. Liars handshake also gives you healing, so better to not use the exotic class item so you can take advantage of the healing and damage during boss damage, even when not surrounded.
Scatter Signal with Slice works perfect with this build; Slice activates on dodge and offers another debuffed target for Stylish Executioner to do its thing.
Hahaha, I was running something close to this for legendary campaign, except I was using radiant dance machines, and was focused more on the weapons I was using. This is great!
i think facet of protection and facet of generosity will be the fragment that gets swapped back on forth depending on if you need survivability or orb generation.
Yeah this was quickly my semi obvious "broken" build go to. I also tried renewal grasps with dusk field grenades but the grapple melee and liars handshake seems way more effective with better moment options with the grapple nade

I love punch hunter but man, I really hope prismatic has more viable builds to offer than more punch hunter.
I made this same comment on another vid and got torn to shreds lol. I mean, they did this to give us more build options and the first build I see is the SAME punch build used in every season.
I felt like the default invis build they started us with wasn't bad at all, just didn't bring this kind of damage to the table.

Bungie: Titans are the melee class
D2 Community: Hunter fist go brrr
Bro titans prismatic sucks so hard it’s sad. They seriously take everything thag makes Titan a titan and give it to the other two classes.
@@alaskayoung3413prismatic titan is actually pretty good. Idk what build you’re running
@@Rose_.820 what r u doing? It has nothing but consecration x 3. There’s like no other synergy. Way less durable and survivable than the normal classes too
@@Rose_.820 If you're a titan main, I'm sorry but I might have to switch to hunter main. Prismatic hunter seems to be meta.
No lie, I am hella proud I managed to almost copy your 1st build before you uploaded this. I’m sorta proud. AWESOME video my guy.
Same here! My Armor mods are different, but the idea is the same.
I was literally made for this build. I’ve been liars handshake since it dropped for all arc builds.
Let’s F##king GOOOO!!
When I got back into destiny that’s all I used lmfao so this just makes it even more OP AND FUN! I get to go all in with my smgs also anti barrier! Bruh! 2 more hours of work!!!
star eater will always win
liars gang rise up lmao
They serve completely didn't purposes@@RegularLunar
Shock and awe works with this build currently. So you dodge near 2 enemy, punch 1, dodge near 2nd and freeze. When you punch the frozen enemy, there's a frozen explosion and a lightning bolt comes down and strikes where the enemy was (because it's dead) and does a chain lightning to anyone near by... just like arc.
if u wanna use nighthawk... use prismatic. if u wanna use combination blow one punch man build... prismatic. if u wanna use tether with the tether exotic... use prismatic. if ur on hunter just use prismatic
For real hunter prismatic just replaced the other subclasses.
@@infinitedeath1384not for pvp. the other hunter kits are far too well tuned to be replaced by prismatic
Figured this one out all on my own. This build is nuts
Everyone did. It's literally the starter build and the tooltip at the bottom tells you to do it. 😂
Want a cookie?
I love the silence and squal thrown into oblivion at 7:27
Its insane to me how few people realize the power of a well-built/min-maxed combination blow + liars build is in certain encounters.
I had been using this exact build all day yesterday in the campaign and the damage output/survivability is insane. Solo Legendary too.
I was waiting for Mactics. He delivers.
This has been my dream build for so long. So glad it possible with prismatic. Never thought it would.
So this is the video that made me go ahead and purchase the new DLC. Superb as always man. 👏🏻
Thanks again for the best d2 content. Best build to date and I'm loving it. Thanks for the work you put in to get the community in full swing. As I see it, no one else compares to your content. Have a good one and can't wait for an update on this build if it can get any better lol
Just got a class item with liars and caliban. Going to pair this with conditonal finality. Great video!!
Bombadiers go nuts too don’t sleep on em
I wound up swapping the liar's handshake for wormhusk crown. Running a 1-2 punch shotgun I feel the constant health regen when combination blow is up and running helps me stay alive so much better if I overextend myself. This build is so fun tho! Keep it up man!
It would be useful to do a graphic with the entire build for the people who don’t use DIM on Console.
dim has a mobile app for console users. It’s free.
This is literally the best Hunter build I’ve used in forever. Used it (and I mean only it, hardly used my weapons) up to maybe 75% through the campaign when enemies began to hit harder than the healing afforded.
Slap on Buried Bloodline for Devour and keep rocking!
Strong build don’t get me wrong, but it gets verrrry boring very quick
Same
This build works fine for raids but this close combat doesn't work properly in GM nightfalls
Never tried it. Only been tether hunter support guy or blade barrage squishy fire dude.
I was literally just thinking the same thing
This build is the most fun I’ve ever had with a hunter. So grateful for it, thanks Mac
How did you play long enough to get a build going? 😑
Only last night was bad, no issues today
Ran this build solo through Legendary FS, and besides the occasional gunfight that required I back off from CQC, this build was absolutely destroying. And what’s even crazier is you start right out the gate with 80-90% of this build done.
Not for nothing, but 95% of this build was posted in your discord a week before TFS dropped and only like an hour after content creators were showing off the other fragments.
Think I was the only one who use this build... Sad
You wrong, i love this build
I am a huge liars handshake simp and have been for over 2 years. Ive pretty much built my in game identity around the snake exotic ornament.
@@JGburneraccountit’s been one of my favourite exotic for years, I hope this season doesn’t popularize it too much because it’s been broken
Can’t really go wrong with Liar’s Handshake
You weren't 😮
I played a neigh identical build on my playthrough of TFS, but with Golden Gun Nighthawk, with the fragment that causes light side abilities to do more damage against targets suffering from a darkness debuff.
So I threw a shuriken, which made me Radiant, which increases GG even more, popped my Super and since the shuriken applied Slow, the Target recieved more damage.
1-shotting all the bosses in the game so far, except the campaign bosses with Health Gates, where they get shielded.
I'm saying neigh identical, because I too used Shroud Dodge, Stylish Executioner, etc
Punching hunters are so lame. I'm so bored with this gameplay style.
You can buff this build even further with 4th and 5th column artifact mods:
- Radiant Orbs: gives radiant on orb pick up
- Galvanic Armor: incoming damage from combatants is reduced while amplified (you get amplified from the arc kills)
- Shieldcrush: While you have Woven Mail, Frost Armor, or a Void Overshield, your melee recharges faster and deals increased damage.
While you have amplified or radiant, your grenade recharges faster and deals increased damage
- Transference: Gain increased grenade and melee damage while transcendent.
Thank you. ❤
If anyone is struggling on survivability, particulary with tankier ads, maybe try 'Better Already' on leg armor for health regen on orb pickup.
I was a arc hunter main. Got the arc super unlocked last night. Man i love it!
Anyone who has watched your videos will have known this was coming haha. Great build
Could you try on some prismatic non melee hunter? Maybe for those that we want sometimes to play in a different way, great video btw!
The build that made me watch you and started it all. Finally hunter perfected
+ unravelling rounds and The Call. Makes you deadly on all ranges.
It’s crazy to see damage numbers closing in on one million… from punching.
Don’t remember if it was mentioned but for new lights also use one two punch shotgun and tractor cannon
And here I was using assassins cowl. Thank you for this video!
Thank you. I mean that. You putting in the work to learn all this stuff and help us out means the world to a lot of us.
This is pretty much what I already had on my arc class hunter. When I was last playing I did the combination blow + liars handshake to pretty much do anything. Seeing that it's not only still viable but upgraded is awesome.
I came across the gameplay loop by accident and assumed someone had already perfected the build I was not disappointed
regarding hunter primsatic builds - I suck at hunter so I've had trouble choosing between liars handshake arc build and void invis builds.
I've been using my own version of this I call the 'Monte Python" build.
just add a monte carlo to this mix and you'll never need to reload ever...the liars handshake has a snake on them hence the cheeky name ;P
Also feat crafted ikelos shotgun with graverobber and trench barrel to reload and juice up on your melee kills
I was always just using class setups which where fun to me - but boy oh boy, this IS INSANITY! Thank you for showing the setup!
if you don't use the fragment that heals you on melee kills, assassin's cowl still has a place, since the invisible buff it provides is separate to stylish executionor, so when that's on cool down assassin's cowl invisible will still be available. it provides guaranteed invisibility if that's what is important to you.
The healing doesn't come from a fragment, it comes from combination blow (the melee ability itself)
@@Alejojandro there is a fragment that heal you on melee kill
@@Grassouillelafripouille which one? I didn’t see any fragment that heals you on melee kills in this build. All the fragments shown in this video just give you more damage resistance and damage
You are the go to guy when im looking into builds. Awesome job.
As soon as I saw I could do the slow dodge and combination blow, I knew mactics was gonna find his way to it 😂😂
I've been using Lucky Pants with Malfeasance, Blinding GL & a Bipod Crux. It's been a breeze. Void Smoke with Dusk field.
I got Spirit of Inmost Light and Spirot of Liars. It's a fun add on that buffs dodge when I melee then buffs melee when I dodge
only thing inmost is actually doing is increasing your grenade regen...and inmost doesn't buff dmg only ability regen...your dodge already refunds your melee, and your melee refunds your dodge...it does help if you happen to lose your dodge though, but mods can take care of that (utility kickstart for example, since this build doesn't use or require weapon surge mods...or absolution/orbs of restoration/insulation...or all of those combined!)
Other than forcing myself to tryout the new super, this is the build I was running too. So much fun punching while going in and out of invis.
And if you really wanted to, you could use assassins cowl to still get insane survivability, or the new balance of power boots to juice up your clones
This build but renewal grasps and buried bloodline to stack frost armor and devour on top for extra survivability. That’s what I’ve been using for prismatic and it’s so good
This is the most fun build I have ever tried in destiny. Thanks for sharing!
Another fun build I ran was threaded specter with the freeze dodge, and instead of liars I used assassins cowl. Everything I dodge I would freeze and make a decoy as well as invis when I melee, all ads would die when they were near the decoy or shot at it.
Mactics you did it, this the hunter build I imagined when prismatic was announced
Renewal grasps can help for those with this platsytle at a slower pace for the extra damage resist and enemy reduction in damage
I accidently came up with this build about a few days ago. Glad to see it has gotten some attention
Good build. It's fun how it's just the base build the game gives you from the very start, minus the exotic
I love Liar's Handshake and I love invisibility, so this sounds great!
Thanks a lot for the build. I have been a titan main since the start. But now my hunter feels more titan than titan.
This is great!
with the hunter exotic item, you can stack assassins' cowl and liars handshake which will make this build even more so better
This works so great, it’s literally insane- gonna try it with Bastion reworks
Who needs guns when you got these HANDS 👊 😤
Hell yes! I was working in a similar setup. Love it and am excited to be a crayon eating hunter going absolutely ham
i think facet of protection and facet of generosity will be the fragment that gets swapped back on forth depending on if you need survivability or orb generation.
One of the final artifact perks "Transference" also buffs melee/grenade damage.
Shield Crush would also work.
Yeah this was quickly my semi obvious "broken" build go to. I also tried renewal grasps with dusk field grenades but the grapple melee and liars handshake seems way more effective with better moment options with the grapple nade
