This tier list makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Polaris, Cloudstrike, Final Warning and Ergo in C tier is godawful. With Outbreak, Necro and Grand Overture (Who deserve at LEAST A tier) in the same tier as Monte Carlo and Huckleberry??? What??

Outbreak right now CARRIES so the low ranking almost made me grab my pitchfork and torch bruh, how you gonna disrespect the goat like that? You don’t even need a build for it just throw it on and it kills the whole room with rewind rounds on.
It clears adds slower than plenty of other options, and rarely do you ever need a primary for large targets- that's what specials and heavies are for. It's just a jack of all trades primary. I love the gun, it's fun to use and looks/feels good, but the ranking makes sense. Thorn and touch of malice are some of my favorites and they're pretty low, but that's fine. They just need certain setups to really shine.
@@killval849not only high dps, but craftable with “Wewind Wounds” and it being a room clearer do its exotic perk and catalyst. You can do everything in the game with that gun, besides break shields in reasonable time ig lol.

Outbreak being in B tier, Burried bloodline not in S tier and arbalest in S tier is all that's needed to completely disregard this tier list. Like, outbreak is goated in just about all activities now, Burried bloodline being a rocket side arm makes it S tier by default even without it having weaken and devour, and Arbalest in it's prime was S+ tier but now is C at best
nah, stick it next to wicked implement in c tier, theyre basically the same sort of thing, just hot and cold XD like tommies its ignitions are low damage, but if you top off other scorch sources then its fine since i believe the first thing that applied scorch to a target determines the ignition damage.

If you go to D2 Quantum Damage-ics, Cloudstrike has a DPS of 35743 while Still Hunt + Celestial has a DPS of 32455 - even with optimized Golden Gun reloading. Aegis, MossyMax, and Damage-ics all have data showing this.

throwing this out there - the Ex Diris feels really nice on Prismatic Titan. Not overpowered or best in slot or anything, but having the amplified uptime is helpful and it's fun to throw glacial grenades and then pop them with ex diris.
Final warning being on c-tier is absolutely criminal, pair that thing with a pure strand swarmers and you instantly become an add clearing monster and full charged shots give you unravel for the anti-barrier.
Rat king has a couple encounters where its utility keeps you alive guaranteeing invis. I used it when I 2 manned the abyss encounter on master. I’d definitely put it higher
Yep. Tbh rat king can change the whole approach to builds, like why would you even need to care about resilience or health if you can just go invis? I like playing all classes from time to time, and having that Hunter-like invis on warlock and titan can help me increase dps on builds rather than care about surviveability
Witherhoard, Arbalest and Agers are not S tier. They were in their prime, but much better options are available now. Wishender, lumina, microcosm, buried bloodline and most of all TRACTOR CANNON are all better contenders for S tier, because they all have something unique which makes them sorta irreplaceable for that niche. Tractor cannon is a tether in your pocket. In no list should it fall anywhere below the S tier.
While I agree with Witherhoard and Agers, Arbelest is still the king of shield breaking because it doesn't depend on damage to break them, it straight up deletes shields (bosses included). Easily S tier imo.
Witherhoard and Agers are definitely S-tier. Arbalest on the other hand does not deserve S-tier. Pulses and Wish-Ender just feel/perform better in every case.
Especially considering his criteria for S-tier... "use them anywhere & everywhere." That does not describe Arbalest at all. It's got very specific and niche use cases, otherwise it's a giant waste of your exotic and primary slot.

@@almeidathiago23 that trait isnt really needed anywhere since match game doesnt exist anymore. Arbalest can just be swapped out for wishender for all anti barrier purposes. The one place where you do use arbalest for that trait is Ghosts of the Deep, and even there it doesnt one shot the boss shields anymore.
Good list just don't agree about outbreak(S), gally(A), witherhoard(S+), final warning(A), Ergo Sum(A) Buried Bloodline (S+) the letter beside the gun is where I would rank them. all these guns go require setup just shoot/kill and go about your day.
Definitely agreed on Buried Bloodline. I farmed for it to complete the collection, used it because I was bored and oh my god, it's incredible. I even used it during Day 1 Edge of Salvation all the way up to Witness
Galli rightfully is at the top. You hit the nail on the head about what weapon people will remember. I have a friend who hasn't played since d1. We tried to convince him to come to d2 and his first question was does it have galli😂
With the current season I'd personally rank up and down a few weapons like Outbreak and Graviton Lance not only being a staple in GMs right now since you can just sit back and watch enemies and champions vanish but also both being incredibly good for ad-clear in lower level content. So provided Graviton Lance has its catalyst imo they're both S-tier. Whisper with the new seasonal mods out damages Still Hunt on its own (not tested with sh-rocket) and should sit up there with it tbh. This one might be kind of a hot take but right now Darci is very powerful since it not only gets a basically passive 15% damage buff but can also stun every champion making it incredibly good in GMs. I'd put this one probably at least in the B-tier. Ergo Sum might seem situational but with the right rolls it can not only be the best dps sword in the game (including heavy weapons) but also an ad-clear option rivaling Sun Shot thanks to arc conductor while having near infinite ammo with the catalyst and seasonal mods. I'm not sure where I would put it generally either but at least wave or caster frame with arc conductor would land in my S+ tier. In terms of moving down this might just be nitpicks but since the just mentioned Ergo Sum roll exists now I'd honestly bump Riskrunner down a row. Lastly Arbalest unfortunately got a pretty heavy, if indirect nerf to its capabilities and with there being better options for precision enemies and barrier champions I haven't seen myself using it at all since The Final Shape. @@christophwaltz8919 lol are you nuts? At worst, even without anti-barrier, it is an easy A-tier just for ad clear. Breaking barrier champ shields is easy to do with simple abilities now. It isn't as big of a deal, in terms of an artifact mod, as you are making it out to be. I am convinced some people just did easy mode of Zero Hour and never got the catalyst or rewind rounds.
My checklist for exotics: 1. It looks cool 2. Easy to get 3. Makes the game easier 4. Satisfying or quick reload animation 5. Makes a cool sound 6. Given by a hot exo chick with an entrancing voice 7. I have fun using it overall If the weapon meets one or more of this criteria, I use the exotic
Skyburners oath and gunpowder gamble is one of my personal favorite combos in destiny 2 it's sad that such a fun way to play solar hunter isn't used because of it being outshined by still hunt
Ok overall, there are a few little things that can be argued about. Heartshadow - decent for damage with build-in debuff and ok add clear if needed, should be in C-tier Necro, Outbreak and Revision - all belong in A-tier, Necro is crazy for add clear (together with Khvostov), Outbreak carries a lot rn, Revision Zero is way better than Wish-Ender in GMs (if you put Revision in B, Wish-Ender belongs there too, or the other way around) Edit: I did side by side comparisons of Wish-Ender vs Revision Zero in GMs last season and this season Revision Zero defeats champions in GMs 50% faster than Wish-Ender can The only major difference is that Revision requires Aim and Wish-Ender doesn't really
I can proudly say that I never took off sunshot and it was my main pve weapon before everyone realized it was still good. From launch it was my favorite and I did kinda wonder why the hell nobody else used it. Season of the wish went insane.
Heartshadow is amazing in gm when running a liar handshake build. You get a panic invisibility option for when you somehow loose you ability to one shot punch champions. It also deals decent damage. overall an amazing weapon for a assassin style play style.

I was just waiting for the Forerunner and I’m glad it got the recognition it deserved, personally I use it to get four different grenades with a Prismatic Hunter in little under every 2 minutes.
Thunderlord is great for this season with it's intrinsic anti Overload Champions feature. I'm using it with the new Corrasion arc pulse with Enlightened + Voltshot and primary Patron of Lost Causes scout with Triple Tap + Kinetic Tremors. So all champion bases covered and I'm finding this fun with an arc build.
i saw the sweet busines but u need to remember its a titan gun u need to combine it on a titan whit the exotic chest armor actium war rig whit the perk auto loading link it keeps stedaly relouding auto rofles and machine guns even when u are using it and holding down the triger and whit the buff of sweet busines that every 4th or 7th bullet wil do a small explosion end when fully spun up u get a lot les flinch whit the catalyst and who knows it may rise a lill in the list XD 😂
There were a couple of pieces of misinformation I noticed in this video that I think might need to get called out since they can potentially have wide reaching consequences for how a viewer may interperate some of the game mechanics for a while. The first one is that you mentioned Tractor Cannon being the only source of 30% Weaken in the game. This is also untrue as both Felwinter's Helm and Tether apply a 30% Weaken. I'm assuming you only meant to say that Tractor was the only gun in the game that could apply a 30% weaken, which would have been true. The second one is that you mendioned Ignitions scaling off of the weapon archetype. This is completely false. Ignitions don't work like Dragonfly and Firefly. They will always have 750 base damage no matter where they come from, and the weapon's PvE damage scaler isn't factored into this at all. Ignitions do, however, recieve all of the damage buffs associated with the source of the first Scorch stack applied to an enemy. So if you use a gun to apply Scorch it will be able to apply Surge mods, Radiant, and other such buffs to both the Scorch damage and eventual Ignition. If the Scorch comes from a melee then it can recieve melee buffs and such. The only exceptions that I know of are Hammer Strike's forced Ignition on kills and any Scorch stacks applied by uncharged melees with Roaring Flames which both fail to allow any damage buff inheritance. Other notable special cases are Ember of Char which inherits no damage bonuses from any source and Consecration which will both inherit all melee damage bonuses along with having its own unique 20% damage bonus that applies exclusively to Ignitions where the Scorch came from the initial slide melee uppercut.
I would argue... - Darci, this is basically the same as Fighting Lion but a sniper, using a harder to get ammo, def F Tier as well. - Skyburners, the ability to top off scorch stacks for ignitions is a really valuable function, as is scorching outright since it synergizes with solar fragments and some aspects as well, should be more C tier. Wicked Implement (also in C tier) is basically the Stasis version of this gun. - Borealis, now that its double damage on matching shield break perk has been 'Fixed' its actually worse then it used to be, with the current artifact mods its actually pretty cool, but Low D-Tier of a weapon for sure, would be cool if a buff gave it intrinsic incandecent/jolt/destablizing rounds could be way better then - Ruinous (my fav child) I agree with C tier and not higher, but for completely different reasons, the fact you still see this weapon as a trace rifle + slam dunk is why you don't value it as much. The loop for this gun is: Get kill to make orb, pickup orb and hit things with it (stacks with surge mods or armor surges) Before orb ammo runs out slam dunk it. Repeat. The shield drain effect you do while blocking, could be stronger, its good for exploders, or when your swarmed, but drains its energy way to fast. This synergizes well on void class if you tie into volitile and suppression. I would never use this in end game, hence C tier. Everything else in the list seems like good placements, I do think the problem with your definition of 'build defining' is somewhat lacking, there are guns you need to build around to be good (C tier and below), there are once that compliment armor builds really well (B tier), and lastly there are ones that shine so brightly on their own (A to S tiers)
i just started playing destiny 2 1 week in as a hunter for the first time and i gotta say im loving it and hating it aside from the massive paywalls(expansions)i bought all at a sale for 30$ the fact that we can only choose 1 exotic for armor or weapon forces you to only choose an s tier weapon wich sucks cuz some weapons are so fun to use but i do understand tht 3 exotics would be so chaotic especially with armor but we also gotta realize other games can have all crazy weapons equipped without breaking the game
This is absolutely not the case unless you're doing a Master or Day 1 raid. Use whatever loadout you think is fun since as long as you know what you're doing, you can clear almost all content in the game using whatever you want to
I honestly think sky burners oath deserves a higher place on this list. I main the solar titan and this gun saved my life so many times in harder solo missions because of sunspots
Someone has never used concurrence. It’s a Glaive, yes, but its power shot does over 100,000 damage to bosses on direct hits and jolts. DONT SHOOT TO FLOOR, its tracking thing on the floor is for IF you miss
@@808zebra.5 sad thing is a crafted judgment of Kel with wormgod is far better than Vex Cal. I've been running this build for a long time and unfortunately vex xal doesn't keep up. I will say I have not tested it on prismatic yet, but that with some of the new seas artifacts may make it more viable.
regarding Deterministic Chaos: it is actually pretty interesting to run with Void Titan as a support MG for bosses that you would have issues to hit with Tractor like the Witness. during the DPS phase you can keep laying into the Witness with it and it will synergize with Void aspects nicely Regarding manticore, it does have some fun usage on Titan with Lion Rampant on Void Titan as you become a stationary turret of destruction with Controlled Demolition xD Regarding Hier Apparant, instead of fighting against your slow speed, lean into it. Put on Icefall Mantle and become the definition of "Slow and tough as a glacier"
fun fact: if you combine wolfpack ergo sum with tireless blade perk while DPS bosses you will consume less ammo after DPS phase because wolfpack round still count at light attack
Graviton should have been S tier for me. It does what Sunshot does with better range. Ive seen it do crazy things to rooms full of adds. Add volatile to it with fragments and you get crazy levels of purple explosions
As a Tommy's Matchbook fan, I feel I need to rush to its defence. TM I feel is a bit misunderstood. I love the gun and find myself using it very frequently in builds centred around it (Sanguine Alchemy + Ember of Singeing) or mixed in with Prismatic (and devour) as a means to deal with unstoppable champions very easily. It has weaker ignitions, sure, but it allows for rapid ignition triggers especially when combined with Song of Flame and Ember of Ashes for better crowd control and boss chunking. I will admit that TM has a lot of tradeoffs, but can be very impressive in the right build and can carry you through most higher level content.
If bastion ever gets a catalyst, that will be one of my new main exotics. Also, DARCI's exotic perk should be re worked, and moved to the special slot. The gun should work as a do it all anti champion weapon. Like hold your scope over a champion for a few seconds, and it changes its bullets to counter that specific champion. Kinda like how it already works with jolt, but for all champions.

Salvations Grip is def not the worst exotic in the game. It’s incredibly strong on stasis titan even in end game content. It used to be for sure but since its buffs it’s been pretty good
Vexcalibur continues to be underrated :/ Maybe it's just because I'm a sucker for its design and love its mission, but I think it's a really fun glaive.
D.A.R.C.I is easily a top 5 sniper rifle contender, it’s traits are so good for boss damage and it’s perk is really cool. with arc reserves and a surge it outclasses adored and whisper by miles we haven’t really seen many other solid rifles since
I will say Lament has been great forever but I don’t think you’ve seen the severity of its most recent nerf. Heartshadow does more damage overall in a sustained damage setting now. Little saddening to see it fall so far when there was no reason for it to be nerfed.

I’ve found that the no time to explain is really good for the prismatic warlock ability spam build because of it being a strong kinetic pulse rifle with a good ability that activates with bleak watcher. The turret and gun also gets anti barrier thanks to this episode’s artifact.
Ager’s Scepter has definitely been my top exotic for a while. Love freezing clusters of enemies and shattering them all. Then the supercharged mode going even further with the damage (also coolest catalyst upgrade in my book)

Cloudstrike in C is an insane ranking, it’s really good for both boss damage with a rocket rotation and overall use.
It's not good for boss damage anymore. More and more legendaries sadly outpace it.

throwing this out there - the Ex Diris feels really nice on Prismatic Titan. Not overpowered or best in slot or anything, but having the amplified uptime is helpful and it's fun to throw glacial grenades and then pop them with ex diris.

Yep. Tbh rat king can change the whole approach to builds, like why would you even need to care about resilience or health if you can just go invis? I like playing all classes from time to time, and having that Hunter-like invis on warlock and titan can help me increase dps on builds rather than care about surviveability
Witherhoard, Arbalest and Agers are not S tier. They were in their prime, but much better options are available now.
Wishender, lumina, microcosm, buried bloodline and most of all TRACTOR CANNON are all better contenders for S tier, because they all have something unique which makes them sorta irreplaceable for that niche.
Tractor cannon is a tether in your pocket. In no list should it fall anywhere below the S tier.
While I agree with Witherhoard and Agers, Arbelest is still the king of shield breaking because it doesn't depend on damage to break them, it straight up deletes shields (bosses included). Easily S tier imo.
Witherhoard and Agers are definitely S-tier. Arbalest on the other hand does not deserve S-tier. Pulses and Wish-Ender just feel/perform better in every case.
Especially considering his criteria for S-tier... "use them anywhere & everywhere." That does not describe Arbalest at all. It's got very specific and niche use cases, otherwise it's a giant waste of your exotic and primary slot.

@@almeidathiago23 that trait isnt really needed anywhere since match game doesnt exist anymore. Arbalest can just be swapped out for wishender for all anti barrier purposes.
The one place where you do use arbalest for that trait is Ghosts of the Deep, and even there it doesnt one shot the boss shields anymore.
I haven’t seen it yet, but I know tessellation is underrated. Using strand in all 3 slots is crazy strong with spirit of harmony.
Good list just don't agree about outbreak(S), gally(A), witherhoard(S+), final warning(A), Ergo Sum(A) Buried Bloodline (S+) the letter beside the gun is where I would rank them. all these guns go require setup just shoot/kill and go about your day.

With the current season I'd personally rank up and down a few weapons
like Outbreak and Graviton Lance not only being a staple in GMs right now since you can just sit back and watch enemies and champions vanish but also both being incredibly good for ad-clear in lower level content. So provided Graviton Lance has its catalyst imo they're both S-tier.
Whisper with the new seasonal mods out damages Still Hunt on its own (not tested with sh-rocket) and should sit up there with it tbh.
This one might be kind of a hot take but right now Darci is very powerful since it not only gets a basically passive 15% damage buff but can also stun every champion making it incredibly good in GMs. I'd put this one probably at least in the B-tier.
Ergo Sum might seem situational but with the right rolls it can not only be the best dps sword in the game (including heavy weapons) but also an ad-clear option rivaling Sun Shot thanks to arc conductor while having near infinite ammo with the catalyst and seasonal mods. I'm not sure where I would put it generally either but at least wave or caster frame with arc conductor would land in my S+ tier.
In terms of moving down this might just be nitpicks but since the just mentioned Ergo Sum roll exists now I'd honestly bump Riskrunner down a row.
Lastly Arbalest unfortunately got a pretty heavy, if indirect nerf to its capabilities and with there being better options for precision enemies and barrier champions I haven't seen myself using it at all since The Final Shape.

@@christophwaltz8919 lol are you nuts? At worst, even without anti-barrier, it is an easy A-tier just for ad clear. Breaking barrier champ shields is easy to do with simple abilities now. It isn't as big of a deal, in terms of an artifact mod, as you are making it out to be.
I am convinced some people just did easy mode of Zero Hour and never got the catalyst or rewind rounds.

4. Satisfying or quick reload animation
5. Makes a cool sound
6. Given by a hot exo chick with an entrancing voice
7. I have fun using it overall
If the weapon meets one or more of this criteria, I use the exotic
Skyburners oath and gunpowder gamble is one of my personal favorite combos in destiny 2 it's sad that such a fun way to play solar hunter isn't used because of it being outshined by still hunt
Ok overall, there are a few little things that can be argued about.
Heartshadow
- decent for damage with build-in debuff and ok add clear if needed, should be in C-tier
Necro, Outbreak and Revision
- all belong in A-tier, Necro is crazy for add clear (together with Khvostov), Outbreak carries a lot rn, Revision Zero is way better than Wish-Ender in GMs (if you put Revision in B, Wish-Ender belongs there too, or the other way around)

I did side by side comparisons of Wish-Ender vs Revision Zero in GMs last season and this season
Revision Zero defeats champions in GMs 50% faster than Wish-Ender can
The only major difference is that Revision requires Aim and Wish-Ender doesn't really

I can proudly say that I never took off sunshot and it was my main pve weapon before everyone realized it was still good. From launch it was my favorite and I did kinda wonder why the hell nobody else used it. Season of the wish went insane.
Heartshadow is amazing in gm when running a liar handshake build. You get a panic invisibility option for when you somehow loose you ability to one shot punch champions. It also deals decent damage. overall an amazing weapon for a assassin style play style.
Jotünn almost never leaves my exotic slot. If you can't crush a boss in 20 shots, you've done something wrong.
Truth actually got its impact dmg thing fixed now, so its alot more competitive. Also a nice reserves buff

I was just waiting for the Forerunner and I’m glad it got the recognition it deserved, personally I use it to get four different grenades with a Prismatic Hunter in little under every 2 minutes.
Thunderlord is great for this season with it's intrinsic anti Overload Champions feature.
I'm using it with the new Corrasion arc pulse with Enlightened + Voltshot and primary Patron of Lost Causes scout with Triple Tap + Kinetic Tremors.
So all champion bases covered and I'm finding this fun with an arc build.
As an avid Monte Carlo user, putting it over Polaris and Final Warning is insane
i saw the sweet busines but u need to remember its a titan gun u need to combine it on a titan whit the exotic chest armor actium war rig whit the perk auto loading link it keeps stedaly relouding auto rofles and machine guns even when u are using it and holding down the triger and whit the buff of sweet busines that every 4th or 7th bullet wil do a small explosion end when fully spun up u get a lot les flinch whit the catalyst and who knows it may rise a lill in the list XD 😂

There were a couple of pieces of misinformation I noticed in this video that I think might need to get called out since they can potentially have wide reaching consequences for how a viewer may interperate some of the game mechanics for a while.
The first one is that you mentioned Tractor Cannon being the only source of 30% Weaken in the game. This is also untrue as both Felwinter's Helm and Tether apply a 30% Weaken. I'm assuming you only meant to say that Tractor was the only gun in the game that could apply a 30% weaken, which would have been true.
The second one is that you mendioned Ignitions scaling off of the weapon archetype. This is completely false. Ignitions don't work like Dragonfly and Firefly. They will always have 750 base damage no matter where they come from, and the weapon's PvE damage scaler isn't factored into this at all. Ignitions do, however, recieve all of the damage buffs associated with the source of the first Scorch stack applied to an enemy. So if you use a gun to apply Scorch it will be able to apply Surge mods, Radiant, and other such buffs to both the Scorch damage and eventual Ignition. If the Scorch comes from a melee then it can recieve melee buffs and such.
The only exceptions that I know of are Hammer Strike's forced Ignition on kills and any Scorch stacks applied by uncharged melees with Roaring Flames which both fail to allow any damage buff inheritance. Other notable special cases are Ember of Char which inherits no damage bonuses from any source and Consecration which will both inherit all melee damage bonuses along with having its own unique 20% damage bonus that applies exclusively to Ignitions where the Scorch came from the initial slide melee uppercut.

I would argue...
- Darci, this is basically the same as Fighting Lion but a sniper, using a harder to get ammo, def F Tier as well.
- Skyburners, the ability to top off scorch stacks for ignitions is a really valuable function, as is scorching outright since it synergizes with solar fragments and some aspects as well, should be more C tier. Wicked Implement (also in C tier) is basically the Stasis version of this gun.
- Borealis, now that its double damage on matching shield break perk has been 'Fixed' its actually worse then it used to be, with the current artifact mods its actually pretty cool, but Low D-Tier of a weapon for sure, would be cool if a buff gave it intrinsic incandecent/jolt/destablizing rounds could be way better then
- Ruinous (my fav child) I agree with C tier and not higher, but for completely different reasons, the fact you still see this weapon as a trace rifle + slam dunk is why you don't value it as much.
The loop for this gun is: Get kill to make orb, pickup orb and hit things with it (stacks with surge mods or armor surges) Before orb ammo runs out slam dunk it. Repeat.
The shield drain effect you do while blocking, could be stronger, its good for exploders, or when your swarmed, but drains its energy way to fast.
This synergizes well on void class if you tie into volitile and suppression. I would never use this in end game, hence C tier.
Everything else in the list seems like good placements, I do think the problem with your definition of 'build defining' is somewhat lacking, there are guns you need to build around to be good (C tier and below), there are once that compliment armor builds really well (B tier), and lastly there are ones that shine so brightly on their own (A to S tiers)
i just started playing destiny 2 1 week in as a hunter for the first time and i gotta say im loving it and hating it aside from the massive paywalls(expansions)i bought all at a sale for 30$ the fact that we can only choose 1 exotic for armor or weapon forces you to only choose an s tier weapon wich sucks cuz some weapons are so fun to use but i do understand tht 3 exotics would be so chaotic especially with armor but we also gotta realize other games can have all crazy weapons equipped without breaking the game
This is absolutely not the case unless you're doing a Master or Day 1 raid. Use whatever loadout you think is fun since as long as you know what you're doing, you can clear almost all content in the game using whatever you want to
I honestly think sky burners oath deserves a higher place on this list. I main the solar titan and this gun saved my life so many times in harder solo missions because of sunspots
Someone has never used concurrence. It’s a Glaive, yes, but its power shot does over 100,000 damage to bosses on direct hits and jolts. DONT SHOOT TO FLOOR, its tracking thing on the floor is for IF you miss
Vex caliber with Syntho or wormgod is insane. It has to be B tier at the very least
@@808zebra.5 sad thing is a crafted judgment of Kel with wormgod is far better than Vex Cal. I've been running this build for a long time and unfortunately vex xal doesn't keep up. I will say I have not tested it on prismatic yet, but that with some of the new seas artifacts may make it more viable.

Fighting Lion was incredible during season of the splicer... never used it since then.
It was bugged during the first season of Lightfall, it did 15x damage to red bars
Worldline acrostic does pretty crazy burst damage. You're not going to use it on a raid boss but on champs it's crazy.
regarding Deterministic Chaos:
it is actually pretty interesting to run with Void Titan as a support MG for bosses that you would have issues to hit with Tractor like the Witness. during the DPS phase you can keep laying into the Witness with it and it will synergize with Void aspects nicely
Regarding manticore, it does have some fun usage on Titan with Lion Rampant on Void Titan as you become a stationary turret of destruction with Controlled Demolition xD
Regarding Hier Apparant, instead of fighting against your slow speed, lean into it. Put on Icefall Mantle and become the definition of "Slow and tough as a glacier"
For deathbringer it’s just a visual bug. All orbs still do full damage and it always makes all orbs even if u can’t see it
Wishender is easily S tier imo for the amount of super energy you get and how it hits like a truck over any distance.
The Prospector is forgotten even in a tier list covering ALL exotic. It’s never been so over for us 5 the Prospector enjoyers 😔
fun fact: if you combine wolfpack ergo sum with tireless blade perk while DPS bosses you will consume less ammo after DPS phase because wolfpack round still count at light attack
Graviton should have been S tier for me. It does what Sunshot does with better range. Ive seen it do crazy things to rooms full of adds. Add volatile to it with fragments and you get crazy levels of purple explosions

Bungie needs to show Wavesplitter some love.. After all these years there is still no catalyst and ornament for this weapon available.
As a Tommy's Matchbook fan, I feel I need to rush to its defence. TM I feel is a bit misunderstood. I love the gun and find myself using it very frequently in builds centred around it (Sanguine Alchemy + Ember of Singeing) or mixed in with Prismatic (and devour) as a means to deal with unstoppable champions very easily.
It has weaker ignitions, sure, but it allows for rapid ignition triggers especially when combined with Song of Flame and Ember of Ashes for better crowd control and boss chunking. I will admit that TM has a lot of tradeoffs, but can be very impressive in the right build and can carry you through most higher level content.
If bastion ever gets a catalyst, that will be one of my new main exotics.
Also, DARCI's exotic perk should be re worked, and moved to the special slot.
The gun should work as a do it all anti champion weapon. Like hold your scope over a champion for a few seconds, and it changes its bullets to counter that specific champion. Kinda like how it already works with jolt, but for all champions.

D.A.R.C.I is easily a top 5 sniper rifle contender, it’s traits are so good for boss damage and it’s perk is really cool. with arc reserves and a surge it outclasses adored and whisper by miles we haven’t really seen many other solid rifles since

I will say Lament has been great forever but I don’t think you’ve seen the severity of its most recent nerf. Heartshadow does more damage overall in a sustained damage setting now. Little saddening to see it fall so far when there was no reason for it to be nerfed.

I’ve found that the no time to explain is really good for the prismatic warlock ability spam build because of it being a strong kinetic pulse rifle with a good ability that activates with bleak watcher. The turret and gun also gets anti barrier thanks to this episode’s artifact.
Ager’s Scepter has definitely been my top exotic for a while. Love freezing clusters of enemies and shattering them all. Then the supercharged mode going even further with the damage (also coolest catalyst upgrade in my book)
