I have been having fun with prismatic but void hunter and omnioculus and gyrfalcons are my all time favorites. I just love the sound of volatile explosions. I remember playing omnio defensively before I started playing more aggressively. Mactics omni playbook kept me playing hunter!
the bullet jumping is so real, every time I get into a warframe phase and go back to destiny I catch myself trying to slide everywhere, but my crouch button in warframe is the same button I have mapped to unpowered melee in destiny so I just go around punching the air
Sorry kinda new to destiny but there is a powered/unpowered melee and they are on different buttons ? I just assumed powered was when you have the melee ability and unpowered is when the melee ability is on cool down
@@neriherrera754hey no problem! So yeah, base game key bindings have the melee set to “auto”, which uses the charged melee if you have it based on distance. If you are right up next to an enemy, it will typically do your uncharged instead. In the keybindings there are 3 total melee options, auto the default, powered, and unpowered. Personally I always use the powered and unpowered options because I like having the control, but some people say the optimal key bind depends on what class and build you are playing

I know there are some videos on youtube that have recommended setting changes for destiny yo can check out that can make a big difference, like you can set it so that you can keep firing any weapon by holding down instead of repeatedly pressing. that one has definitely saved me a lot of hand/wrist pain
For this exact build you could also consider a void Exotic primary. Not for the Exotic perks, but simply because it comes with free, eternally 3x Rampage against red-bars.

I think y’all are also forgetting that a lot of people aren’t willing to teach other people how to do things in the game. They expect everyone to know what to do right away. So people aren’t patient enough to watch someone struggle through learning the various mechanics. Then they come and complain about that. They complain either way, and it’s annoying. I play destiny because I genuinely love the game. I don’t mind learning or teaching. I just get tired of people complaining, and being impatient.
I feel like a lot of people don't realise that Omnioculus isn't just 2 melees. It's x4 dmg resist whilst anyone made invis is invis, which is huge. It's like Hunters version of emergency popping a well of radiance in a dicey situation except you can dodge evade out of the way. I swear I can't remember the last LFG I played where someone ran omnioculus which is why I feel like people just have no idea.
Actually, it's not a well of radiance (especially after the nerf). It's like Strand Warlock and the weavewalk where you stack invisibility with a ton of damage resistance.
The aggro part is true it's why I only use invisibility as a crutch. Now I prefer playing orpheus rig because I use this tryhard build mainly for farming gm's and tether is just so damn good. Even if you're not killing much compared to your prismatic song of flame warlock or prismatic behemoth titan you're still making every enemy on the field completely useless not to mention having the highest debuff it really is just a strong subclass because all your teammates have to do is shoot one enemy and everything dies.
This build will always stay close to me. Its what was used to conquer my first GM. Thank you for continually bringing great content to the Destiny community Mactics!

When my friend gave me invis aswell and while he kept the trash mobs at bay I went around and nuked the yellow bar champs Easiest gm clear of my life lol
This build used to be my GM go-to. Still have it on standby, been having too much fun with prismatic + exotic class item (Assassin’s Cowl + Liars Handshake OR Calibans Hand + Synthocepts) Only difference is instead of Echo of Dilation I run the volatile finisher one so I can just spread/clear like crazy and have more options to chain invis finishers etc
After the first month of final shape Ive been playing a lot of hunter. This update on tge build is super helpful. Might be time to transition main from warlock to hunter 🌌🏹
I have a build for Will it Build. Warlock. Void. Nova Bomb (either). Magnetic Grenade. Chaos Accelerant. Feed the Void. Instability, Undermining, Persistence, Harvest. Verity's Brow. Buried Bloodline. Faith Keeper (Enhanced Auto loading and Bipod). Multimach (Over-under Tremors). Unstop Sidearm. Barrier SMG. Elemental Siphon, Press the Advantage, Counter Energy, Void Hegemony, Expanding Abyss, Shield Crush. Mods for orbs (especially grenade orbs) and grenades and scavenge/reserves/damage for void weapons. It's probably pretty obvious, but use Handheld Supernova and Buried Bloodline almost exclusively to weaken enemies, buff each other, and create loads of orbs. You'll need at least two Firepower mods to keep up with the cooldown of a 250% damage Handheld Supernova. You can spam rockets all you like at bigger targets too, especially if you're using 2 void reserves and 1 void scavenger mod. I also use special finisher.
Ewf unless it gets a 500% damage buff and even then it probably won't ever be good mainly cuz of the tracking is just awful Lol would love to see it used literally at all though.
He has always been pretty bad at this. Some times his titles say 500% DAMAGE BOOST or shit like that then you get in and it is like "oh ya you can stack radient with this and it's pretty good"

I play a similar build/style for this but I feel like you sat on your super a LOT in the village room that would have potentially saved you at least, sped the run up otherwise. I typically get 3 tethers off in this room without the rigs or galanor (not that this build works in prismatic). Any particular reasoning/logic behind saving the super?
I think Gyrfalcons is the best. The common complaint I hear about gear falcons is that you have less survivability however I don’t think that’s true. Gyrfalcons main combo loop is stylish with volatile rounds. The issue is I think most people are using there class ability to start the loop instead of there melee or grenade. Void as a fragment that gives you weaking grenades which activates stylish. You also have the the fragment which makes you go invisible on finishers that totals to three ways you can proc volatile without using you class ability. The you also have mods that fund class ability. Utility kickstart, the mods that gives you class ability energy when dealing gernade damage, the mod that gives you class ability energy when you do damaged with a melee, the leg class ability mods. Void has devour so you don’t need any gernade mods outside of 100 discipline. And devour itself gives health back. Combine this with a repulser brace weapon and you literally can’t die. Also on the chance you do use you class ability to start the loop if you finish an enemy while invisible you get crazy class ability regen Now is this build the best in a boss DP’s phase no gryfalcons is an offense exotic anyways. But I a boss room with adds then this build cooks

@@JmisterYT solo as in your not in a set team. Not solo as in no teammates. If you LFG a team with no mic the Omni works alittle better as a safety option if you don’t know your teammates skill level. If your playing with a set team gyrfalcolns can be better cuz you know your friends skill level

If you’re already running harmonic siphon, why run reaper? Do you spawn double orbs when it’s a void weapon? Wouldn’t utility kickstart be better when you don’t have a charged class ability but you have armor charges? What about the one where you use class ability, it speeds up recovery rate of all abilities? Forgot the name but it’s on the class item, the very first one
Siphon requires two quick kills with a void weapon. Reaper requires one. I do agree though that Distribution on top of Bomber would be much better. Powerful Attraction is great for when you're making a ton of orbs really fast and you don't have time to think aboht collecting them but IMHO it isn't needed here, so that could be replaced with Distribution.
@@jamescruz8678another great mod, dynamo. Reduce cooldown of super when using class ability near enemies on helmet along with that harmonic siphon. What I like Helmet-Dynamo, heavy ammo finder, harmonic siphon. Arms- grenade toss distance, grenade damage replenish class ability, grenade kills gen orb( forgot names lol ) Chest- normally just resistances depending on encounters Legs- absolution, maybe a surge or stacks Class item- powerful attraction, distribution, bomber Whattya think?

Gonna be honest as a hunter main void feels weird stasis was good on release Melee was bad froste helped but void never felt right maby cause I never tried with falcon but yea
I've always preferred void hunter and usually only had time to play 1 character to max, but I've been trying to find a way to make titan fun for me to play. Tried void titan a bunch and used a bubble build from mactics but it was totally lacking in class damage and was more of a survivability setup. Did a stasis build from mactics and it's neat but requires point blank play and doesn't have survivability and is a stun lock build. Idk what to play on titan. I feel like I need more of everything to be happy with titan. Maybe I need to unlock strand titan
Titans are kind of getting railed this season so I’d try Warlock we’ve got grape bombs and song of flame over here come and just blow stuff up it’s a great time 😂😂
You want prismatic titan with consecration and knock out aspects combine that with the exotic class item with synthoceps and assasin. It's a lot of fun 👌
@SkeddTV yeah I haven't unlocked that yet cause I haven't finished my hunter main campaign . I just watched that 2 hour tier list vid mactics and some day1raiders made, mactics was shiting on subclasses that I play and I got my builds from mactics 🤨. Ran this today in this weeks nightfall 11/3/24 and even with being 17 mobility down, this build was fantastic. Ty for bringing it back on the radar.

90% of the LFG were with blueberries that didn’t want to run relic in the first tormentor room. This man ran both relics while casually talking.

No, it's just you have no idea. Prismatic right now is a thing, that's all playing with "other things"

I run tier 10 strength but I wasn’t using devour effectively. this seems to be my go to build to do harder stuff with friends

Making a finisher between a bunch of enemies for example. The enemies will always attack your last location.
That's what devour and recuperation on your boots is for. To stay alive when you're not invis

Volatile is not worth it. Especially when there isn't a void surge. And the x4 damage resistance and extra invis is superior.

Siphon requires two quick kills with a void weapon. Reaper requires one.
I do agree though that Distribution on top of Bomber would be much better. Powerful Attraction is great for when you're making a ton of orbs really fast and you don't have time to think aboht collecting them but IMHO it isn't needed here, so that could be replaced with Distribution.

@@jamescruz8678another great mod, dynamo. Reduce cooldown of super when using class ability near enemies on helmet along with that harmonic siphon.
What I like
Helmet-Dynamo, heavy ammo finder, harmonic siphon.
Arms- grenade toss distance, grenade damage replenish class ability, grenade kills gen orb( forgot names lol )
Chest- normally just resistances depending on encounters
Legs- absolution, maybe a surge or stacks
Class item- powerful attraction, distribution, bomber

Gonna be honest as a hunter main void feels weird stasis was good on release Melee was bad froste helped but void never felt right maby cause I never tried with falcon but yea

I've always preferred void hunter and usually only had time to play 1 character to max, but I've been trying to find a way to make titan fun for me to play. Tried void titan a bunch and used a bubble build from mactics but it was totally lacking in class damage and was more of a survivability setup. Did a stasis build from mactics and it's neat but requires point blank play and doesn't have survivability and is a stun lock build. Idk what to play on titan. I feel like I need more of everything to be happy with titan. Maybe I need to unlock strand titan
Titans are kind of getting railed this season so I’d try Warlock we’ve got grape bombs and song of flame over here come and just blow stuff up it’s a great time 😂😂
You want prismatic titan with consecration and knock out aspects combine that with the exotic class item with synthoceps and assasin. It's a lot of fun 👌

@SkeddTV yeah I haven't unlocked that yet cause I haven't finished my hunter main campaign . I just watched that 2 hour tier list vid mactics and some day1raiders made, mactics was shiting on subclasses that I play and I got my builds from mactics 🤨. Well I clearly need to change what I'm playing to have more enjoyable normal play
