    Alyssa's dad was right - all this trial showed was that his pathetic life was worth more than the 17 lives he killed and the dozens he injured - I think those 1 or 2 jurists that let him go should have had to listen to this, hear the impact statements of the parents he brutally murdered, and they should have to explain why they did what they did letting him off with so much less than he deserves

      Life in Prison with the other inmates knowing what he was convicted of is a whole lot worse than death. What people should be hoping for is his sentence is spent in Solitary Confinement the rest of his days. 23 hours a day without a single soul in contact with you. No writing utensils, paper nothing but a box to suffer under the weight of what he has done is a whole lot worse than death. Death is an escape in my opinion. Monsters like this man should live in agony and intense loneliness to sit and have to be constantly reminded of what he has done.

      its going to be really hard to get him in Florence supermax which is one of the toughest prisons. every prisoner is isolated and they are on a strict schedule. unlike Jeffery Dahmer, they can only work out by themselves. just to know how tough this prison is they keep high-profile murderers like Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, Ted Kaczynski, and many more. if he were to die in that prison it would most likely be one of the guards or some very suspicious curcumin stance or he does it himself.

    I did not grasp the craziness of events then nor of 9/11 when I was in 9th grade. I do now that I have a child.
    She is 3. To think some asshole with a gun Will kill a defenseless person, this coward or in the case of our nation, these cowards, is just making you so angry you just want to get even.

      Out of the 40,000 Americans killed by guns in 2019 more than half were suicides, out of the homicides only 4% came from mass shootings, and out of all mass shootings only 10% happen at schools. So that's about 60 school shooting deaths or less every year compared to about 19,000 deaths caused by street violence, and out of the top 10 cities in the US with the worst street violence they all have Democrat mayors. If you want to make a change, vote red this Tuesday.

    • @malovina
      @malovina Год назад +3

      @@kidfox3971 first of , doom and gloom sir, I’m tired of finger pointing parties (both of them). Don’t like either. Both act likes toddlers and spill trash on each other. Also, in regards to our amazing nation “as is”. It’s not really. In terms of quality of life etc we are in 100th+ spot, look it up online. In terms of safety, I felt safer in Singapore although would not want to live there. While I believe in having guns, I also believe we have way too many loop holes If every shmack who loses their mind, goes around and shoots. You are right , it doesn’t happen often. But it happens often enough where outside countries make fun of us already and say it’s an American way to lose your sh”” and go shooting. By the way, we even have a saying to go “postal”.
      No one said all is bad. But I’m frustrated. Do you have a child you’re planning to bring into school soon? Are you cool with him possibly being shot at coz that’s the new norm. Is it Norma that this prisoner is getting love mail. Improving systems comes from folks not feeling ok with what’s going on. Same with product improvements and system improvements. We can keep waiting until there’s more shootings like in Gilroy, Uvalde, parade drive ins by a car killing many, or we can prevent and have serious consequences for these folks. What they do should not get glamorized and attention. People who died and innocent lives should get attention. Lastly, no one is taking your gun away. Folks are talking about better tracking of guns with serial # because you can built ghost ones for instance and no way to track.
      Finally, this only becomes important when you realize your loved one could be shot coz you have a kid who goes to school. I also didn’t care 10 years ago and used to say that you can kill someone with a pencil. But all of sudden, I realized my kid will go to school in 4 yrs. And honestly, random “get even” shootings, I’m over them. Only in US do people take other people’s lives this way when they are mad about whatever that might be so often. It’s way too frequent at this point even if it’s 2 shootings per year. It’s not normal to even have one. Let’s not get desensitized.

      Just watched a guy that ran over 60 something people-with his SUV-6 died. Another trial of a family that took out 8 people in another family-with knives. I understand your sentiments-however, I don’t agree with them. I am sane, and when I was assaulted last November- and my family and I are licensed to carry-and we did not discharge our pistols. The guy was on drugs, drunk big time, and came at me with a huge machete. He hurt my wrist, popped 3 ribs off their cartilage, “costochondritis” and I was happy he got carted off to jail on a felony assault with a deadly weapon..I was not allowed to be in any of his hearings, (6th Amendment violation,) where they offered him a plea at his first trial-to plead guilty to Aggravated Assault-(a non-felony) and of course he took it. He had to go to anger management for 6 months, and AA. He didn’t even need to prove he went. Just on his own basis. I could not even read my witness Impact statement-which is guaranteed to me as a right in the Constitution in the US. I had to write it out, send it to his probation officer-and I do not believe she even read it! So, where’s the punishment? Seems like they always blame the legal gun owners. I believe I was rational, my family member with me was level headed, rational, and law enforcement reminded me of our Castle Doctrine that definitely applied to this situation-as I was in my vehicle in gear- and advised that I should have defended myself with my weapon. Literally asked me why I chose not to? I did get injured, and he was coming at me for round 2 of his attack-but my back passenger hollered out and gave him instruction to back away from my vehicle! He didn’t know anyone was in there besides me-it was at midnight and in the dark. I will also say-I’m a 59 year old female, with a severe back injury. He was 45 when he attacked me. Our collection is all trigger locked, in our safe. This Cruz kid is evil-psychopath. He wanted to kill. He would have probably figured a way to blow up the school. Evil demon.
