PMC is the main supplier of the ROK Armed Forces for all calibers going all the way to 155 mm. That enables the company to produce ammunition in mass quantity and maintaining steady production line, which allows to keep producing ammos at low manufacturing cost.
That's how I've always seen PMC bronze until I started really comparing for the article. I've found stuff that is both more consistent and costs less per round. PMC isn't bad, but wasn't as good as I had always felt.
Thank you for doing this video. I have had no issues with any of the PMC ammo I have purchased in 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 ACP and 308 Win. Are you going to have some light primer strikes, sure. That can happen with any ammo regardless of the price. For that reason I keep a track of the ammo that I have on hand and fire. This way if I have any issues, I have data if needed.
I bought 800 rounds of PMC during the pandemic cost a fortune that was cheaper than most I haven't even shot him yet I'm curious about this video thanks for the info
There's a new sub-compact on the market, it's the STR-9SC. Beretta/Benelli haven't promoted it at all for some reason, and reminds me of the Canik METE SF. You should also look into the PX-9 Tactical Nightstalker and the 1911 Desperado in .38 Super from Tisas, and the MC P35 P.I. Ops (compact Hi-Power) and the MC 1911C in 10mm from Girsan.
Just a FYI. I have had some bad luck with PMC 357 mag SJHP’s. Seemed like it was PMC GOLD ..maybe.?. Was expensive stuff,S&W 66-2 that’s never given me a problem with any ammo. Box of 20..more than 60% didn’t fire.a few shot with a second strike.some just would not fire with multiple strikes..9 might be fine. Just 1 box.
On your list of all the ammo tested you have the muzzle energy listed at 314 foot pounds and in this video you have it at 336 foot pounds. Which is it ?
Any chance you could do AAC 10M? There is very little information out there about it right now. Obviously it's not going to be Underwood hot loads or anything but there is always that question on 10mm range ammo whether its actual 10mm target ammo or some sort of watered down 10mm.
I wasn't planning on doing a 10mm series, but it's not a bad idea. The old 10mm vs "40 Long" argument is one that 10mm and 40 S&W guys love to make. We once chronographed 13 loads of 10mm through 3 different barrel lengths to see who got the most out of what. Those were interesting results: www.gbgunsdepot.com/post/10mm-the-best-millimeter
@@GBGuns don't think that's the case, but there are aftermarket springs to reduce the main spring weight for these. Stripped and cleaned the gun after I got back, will try again this week. Maybe its a bad batch or something.

Hmm, that could have been hard primers, or possible raised primers, though with revolvers the cylinder sometimes won't close if the primers are "proud".
@whitefeather83 I was thinking of that too. I had some Starfire back in the day that wasn't the greatest ammo, but certainly did have a big muzzle flash!
I’ve had good lucky from the 9mm pmc ammo, it’s pretty dirty ammo but overall I never had a round fell to fire, it’s not my first choice because of how dirty it is but I would not hesitate for a second if it’s all I could get , it’s ok in my opinion
See how PMC Bronze ranks against 11 loads tested: www.gbgunsdepot.com/post/the-best-range-ammo-quest-part-4

PMC Rifle and Pistol Ammunition has always performed great in anything I shot it from.
Excellent! Wish my groupings with PMC Bronze were that tight. Great Review as always.
Good inexpensive range ammo! Very reliable too. Thanks for the share!!

Nice
Short, sweet and good info
Thanks again and regards from Washifornia !

PMC Bronze performed about middle of the road in this series. I've always liked it, and it used to be one of the cheapest.

See the pinned comment for comparisons with other loads
Once my Power Ball Jackpot tickets pay off, I'll send you a top flight Chronograph!!!! 😉
(Of course, it might be a while.....)
I like the PMC 9mm 124 grain 💥💥💥
If we do a 124gr comparison series it will be included.
Many thanks

Did you buy the Stoeger STR-9SC or STR-9C?
For 9mm I prefer S&B but for .40 and .45 I prefer PMC Bronze.
I haven't seen S&B's 115gr in a while, but intend to include it.

I’ve done multiple outings to cmp range using PMC bronze shooting my sfar 308 out to six hundred yards and gotten all my stamps . Not one failure
Is that PMC's light ball load? 147gr, or 150gr as I recall.
Hi champ im use all ways sig sauer 9mm 115 g fmj
PMC also supplies NATO allies with ammo.
Very helpful, thanks
Your a good shot I definitely need more practice with pistols
Thank you

It should be 314, sorry about that.

Ok
i have a sphinx sdp which really doesn't work with this stuff, ftf pretty much every two rounds, too underpowered I guess
It sounds like your Sphinx might have a weak mainspring.

It switch to meters on the PMC because it knew they are made in Korea. Ha!
its junk
Just picked these up but 124 grain
