Well, Derek, I have to say that I enjoyed every second of this video. I've been looking forward to it actually, as you did mention that you'd bought a truck cab. It makes me want to truck cab my C34, too!
Thank you very much Del. I thought it was worth spending the extra couple of pounds on the conversion parts to have the option to change the body from a full rear cab to this style. It's slightly different to the WPL C44-KM version too, and has a shorter wheelbase.
Yes the C44-KM wheelbase is about an inch longer and also comes with the two speed gearbox. I bought that gearbox separately to replace the single speed reduction gearbox that came with this C34-KM. The reduction gearbox struggled on some uphill areas when I ran it. I find the torque is much better in low gear with the 2 speed box, and after I put one in my C34-KM it had no problem climbing the same route. I've put the two speed gearbox in all my WPL's that didn't have one except my C34-KM FJ45 Troopy. I've left the reduction box in that because I only use it for light trailing.
@@hollyhillrc This is very interesting - I've always struggled to make sense of the bewildering variety of C34/C44s. I also get very muddled by the nomenclature of the various MN Models chassis/gearbox/motor combinations.
I really wanted the leaf-sprung FMS 1:12 FJ till I heard that it's quite a lot smaller than the WPL and MN Models FJs. And I love their Series IIA Landy, too.
Nice green color for this C34. Excellent trail run in forest. Great video 👍
Thank you very much Pascal. Enjoy your weekend my friend 🙂👍🏼👍🏼
@@hollyhillrc Tanks, have a good weekend for you too Holly 😉

@@hollyhillrc I didn't know the wheelbase was different to the C44.

REally isn't a bad looking little rig. Seemed to drive pretty nice out there bud. Nice run. Hope all is well my friend
Thank you very much Nick. For the price point I personally think this is a really good kit. Lots of metal parts, hard plastic body, and lots of fun.
Nice run Del, I see you got out before the rain.
Thank you very much Mal. I managed to get a quick run between showers!
@@hollyhillrc What we had I would not call showers, more like Monsoons.
Nice little truck, pretty adventure. Is she finished or do you have plans 😀
🙏✝️☮️
Thank you very much Lou. Yes it's finished. A weathered look would be nice but I just don't have the skill for that, or the time these days either.
@@hollyhillrc
That's the same for me, no skills for weathering Or time 🙏✝️☮️
