I used to work for a company that built motherboards for aerospace and other applications. I was a class 3 soldering worker. It was really hard work but extremely fun. I wish I understood more of what each individual piece does. I know how to assemble the boards, I just have no idea what pieces to use. This was incredible! There are so many things that can be created like this. I used to collect Hot Wheels and Matchbox Die-Cast cars until my health issues began and I got real sick real fast. Disabled now, it's been a struggle to find a happy place. This could be something 🤔. Time to do some studying.

Details I particularly loved: 1) Not just indicators, but the side repeaters. 2) The high-level brake light. 3) The little dab of the brakes turning right at the second junction after pulling away. This is wonderful stuff.

THIS IS THE MOST IMPRESSIVE model making I have ever seen! I used to make small stationary models but i have grown old and my hands and eyes no longer function well enough so thats all behind me. I used to customise Scalextric cars for my younger brother but compared to your cars they are HUGE. I used to paint details on the pilots of my Airfix models using a brush with ONE HAIR - to paint the eyes!.... MASSIVE respect for you detail and patience sir!
You may have an idea of how he learned how to do this sort of stuff then, do you take a class in electronics? It’s all beyond me so I can’t see how else one would learn.

Effectively you put a plastic pin under a foil sticker on the bottom of the "car" and ran it along a magnetised electric rail around street scenes. Great fun for an under 10. I am glad to see that it has evolved.

This is one of the most interesting and beautiful miniature model I have ever seen. Not only the car has working headlights and three brake lights, the car also features blinkers/turn signals! I'm truly amazed at the level of detail put into it, especially since the parts are so small; smaller than a fingertip. Truly a masterpiece 10/10✨
That front window tint is illegal! In all fairness. I’ve just literally watched this with my very own eyes, and still don’t believe that tiny people know what indicators are for but giant people don’t. Job, jobbed. Very impressed.
I grew up as a kid in the 80's. Micro Machines were my favorite toy cars. I had dirt trails all over the yard. My father, however, was not a fan of the micro machine city I built into our lawn and garden areas.😄 There were lots of raking, mowing, and weed pulling that summer, but it was absolutely worth it! Ahh, to be back in 1984 and 9 yrs old again! No rules other than don't be late for dinner.😊
Yeah, we all miss those times. Remember to thank your parents --especially your father for your childhood. I was doing something [swapping out a windshield wiper motor after a long day at work] for one of my kids a few years back and I had an epiphany that I had never really thanked my father for his help and problem solving skills from my own childhood. I called him right up in the middle of what I was doing and thanked him then and there! I hope one day my own kids will come to a similar realization and do the same. NOTE: I am not saying that my kids, nor myself were ever ungrateful. What I am saying is that until you reach a certain point in life with your own children, you do not truly realize everything your parents did and sacrificed for you while you were young.

Being a former "Fitter and Turner" from a great many years ago when everything was purely manual and the motto was "if you can't fit it, hit it," I watched your video with a mixture of utter fascination and abject terror. Really impressively lovely and beautifully engineered but to me, "Wiggly Amps" are still the stuff of nightmares!

I was amazed by how much work went into that one tiny car... and by the fact that it did a better job of following traffic signals (and signaling its moves) than most of the full-size humans I'm forced to share the road with daily!

This fine mechanical work would be a great challenge for me! But I've been familiar with microcontrollers and analog electronics for over 40 years. I have 100 ideas now. If there were more cars, they could communicate with each other and automatically follow traffic rules at intersections. They could also have a color recognition sensor...

This would be an awesome concept to use in model railroads. Just imagine how cool it would be to drive little cars around your layout and have them stopping at crossings for your trains. I'd have a blast with that!

It probably wouldn't be too hard with a raspberry pi or something to set up a network of sensors for the traffic lights so that cars automatically stop and go based on the lights, and each car could be given a different ID or something so that they can be individually told to stop or do certain actions

Time requirements aside, a few hundred of these inside a 1/150 cityscape would look and sound amazing.

BMW drivers immediately clicked off the video after seeing a toy car use a blinker.
I about lost my mind when I saw the headlights, brake lights, and blinkers.
I lost it when he made the headlights,then I died when those tiny indicators lid up! 😂 SOOOO CUTE!!
