Please tell me because I’m a bit confused but I really want to make this , at the start of the vid it says 1/2 cup of glutinous rice flour and then later says 3/4 cup so I’m a big confused am I supposed to at abit more rice flour or…. ( I would love to know because they look so nice 🤤😋)
Hello eva thank you for watching ❤ so you will need 1/2 cup glutinous flour for kneading and then the 3/4 cup is for the actual ingredient for the mochi. I have added the full recipe in the description 😊 hope this helps let me know if you have any questions

If I use the regular medium-grain Camolino rice flour to make mochi, will it have the same taste, will it differ only in texture and texture, but the same taste, or what? Another question, do the Japanese use regular rice flour to make mochi if sticky rice flour is not available?🥰

May I ask what's the purpose for adding corn flour? Some recipes only use Glutinous flour. Pls share your thoughts tks.

Hi YoonHee the microwave I used does not have an option to choose the temp. 😅 I microwaved it at high heat
