    Today I want to share two delicious, healthy Korean seaweed side dishes. Seaweed is known to be healthy and has many vitamins, minerals, and fiber. First dish is sweet and tangy. There is a seafood restaurant in Redondo Beach my family goes to and they serve delicious seaweed salad as side dish. Second side dish is also very popular side dish in Korea. I can eat this side dish by itself warm or cold with or without rice. It is so delicious. It is slightly nutty and savory. These are also vegan dish. Hope you enjoy this recipe and stay healthy!
    Ingredients:
    Seaweed salad:
    13 g dried cut seaweed (Pulmuone brand)
    1.5 oz carrot: sliced thinly
    3 oz cucumber: sliced thinly
    1/8 onion: sliced thinly
    Sauce:
    3 1/2 tbsp white vinegar
    1/2 tsp low sodium soy sauce
    1/2 tsp sea salt
    1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
    1 tbsp sugar
    1/4 tsp minced garlic
    *Keep the salad in fridge until you serve.
    Seaweed stem side dish:
    1 bag of seaweed stem ( 280 g) (Wang or Haitai brand)
    1 tbsp mirim
    1/2 tbsp minced garlic
    1/8 tsp sea salt
    1 tbsp sesame oil
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 large green onion
    1/2 tbsp crushed sesame seeds
    1 tsp perilla oil
    *Seaweed stem for Wang brand needs to be cut in bite sizes.
    *you can use Yondu for extra seasoning.
