Some added notes: Turning the bezel clockwise is a bit smoother. The flick feel happens more when you turn the bezel counter clockwise. It is more abrupt counter clockwise. Maybe you can see that in the video even??? Also, I said 'launch prices is until end of month' but I meant end of NEXT MONTH. But zelos usually sell out same day so it doesn't matter too much. I lucked and hooked up with the blue meteorite dial. I like divers and chronographs so the big hips won’t bother me. And I save hacking for 12, 3, 6, & 9 so no problem on the minute track. The only other watches with this 9075 movement of which I am aware are both Midos. The 45 mm & the 43 mm. So I jumped on the 40 mm of the Mako 3. My 1st jump hour GMT & my 1st Zelos so happy days!
I am the proud owner of Frost 053/150! I love the piece - the finishing and functionality are everything that I had hoped for and the lume is incredible. The watch wears way thinner than the specs would suggest. Not having a minute track is less of an issue than I thought it might be. Because of the way that the indicies work, you can obviously see when the minute hand is centered on them for minutes 0 and 5. When the minute hand is on the leading edge of the index, it’s the minute ending at 4 or 9, and when it’s on the trailing edge, you’re on minute 1 or 6. Because the odd GMT hour indexes are marked, you can easily figure out whether you’re on minutes 2/7 or 3/8 depending on which side of the dot the minute hand is on, given that the dot is going to be centered between those minutes.
Very kool, you can't go wrong with a Zelos. I'm always on the look-out for quirky & kool pieces. I recently found a purple dial Orient world Diver gmt that's really kool 😃
Two things kinda kill it for me. 1) no minute track, 2)too thick. Otherwise, it's gorgeous.
It's sure pretty.....Zelos has seriously evolved into one of the better looking watches on the market!!!!!
Would have preferred the whole bezel to be lume with just black paint for the numbers.

Would be a much attractive piece if it is kept at 200m WR and leverage on the thin movement by making it a thinner watch.
Very toolish overall but one can’t tell exact time to the minute with those minute markers missing on dial.
Yes they didn't take advantage of the movement thinness.

I wish they made this similar to the seiko metal-master with a stainless bezel. I own several Zelos watches. Love them.
This is a very good looking watch. Zelos watches have high standards on quality but most of their models are quite quirky and it holds me back from pulling the trigger. What I really want is a Citizen Promaster with the 9075 movement. Am I asking for too much?
I think this white version would have been better with a blue ceramic bezel and blue accent on the tip of the gmt hand (or vice versa with the white bezel and blue dial).
Love this new movement… have you done a review on the Jack Mason Strat O Timer GMT? Same movement. Would love to know your thoughts on it.

I brought this up on other reviews, but the lack of a minute track on a watch that is designed for traveling is a complete deal breaker.
I still haven't found a nicer GMT than the Foliot GMT. The Loom on the Foliot is the best in the industry. The size specs are perfect. However it's a office gmt. I do like the Zelos, but I like the Foliot better.

The lack of minute indices is the only reason I can’t buy it. They should’ve replaced the 24 hour dial indices with minutes for more accurate time keeping.
Yeah. Same here. Was excited over the miyota gmt. No minute tracker ruined it for me.
Set my alarm for the blue meteorite.
Side note, unfortunate logo with the white dial unless you are on the eastern side of the Ukrainian frontline.

I got 12.4 but it was difficult for me to measure so I just went with the website but it's pretty close
@@EscapementWatch Thankyou. Imo that’s fine then. I like a domed sapphire Crystal anyway.
Ok I just double checked for you. 12.5mm at the edge of the bezel. But the bezel insert slopes up towards the sapphire so top of the insert edge is 12.7mm.
@@EscapementWatch that’s awesome thank you. I saw the slope so figured it might be a tad more towards the top. Makes sense as well with the overall height.
Really don't like the black markers and lume on a white dial. Zelos gives you multiple option so there's probably a model for everyone.
Zelos isnt my thing . Like the movement , really needs a minute track .

Can it really be called a fail when it'll sell out within an hour? Every zelos is a huge hit regardless of if you like it or not
