I bought a home and the water well didn't work. The sellers left several trash bags on the property. I went thru them and found communications between the seller wife to the RE agent about the well not working. I filed my civil suit shortly thereafter. Never underestimate the evidentiary value of trash.
Excellent scouting! Water wells are important, did it need to be replaced or cleaned or tested?
You’d think a home inspection might have tripped over NO WATER?
@@Mugwump7 I paid for a well test. Had to sue them too.
@@river8760 Had to have new well drilled. 1,000 ft deep. Which is why I made such an issue out of fake well test and prev knowledge by sellers/agent.
@@karenhess619 I’m so sorry.. I’m a realtor. I apologize for my colleagues, most of them are bloody animals but there are good ones. I hope that realtor paid dearly.
If there were so many threats for Paul, why weren’t there any cameras set up at the property?
Exactly!! You would have thought with his history of screwing people legally, his drug problem, and then the boating accident with threats to Paul, there would be surveillance cameras all over that property! The main house, hanger, cabin, kennels, points of entry onto property, etc. No wonder Maggie didn’t want to stay out there, especially at night if he were still at work. Very isolating!
THIS!!!!!!
Not even trail cams.... for it to be their "hunting property". They could for sure afford it..... unless you don't want anything to ever be caught on camera.
Exactly! Don't forget whoever did this "has been planning it for a long time" Hence Alex didn't want cameras because he planned on killing them for a while!!!
Excellent question.
Lesson to be learned:
Hide evidence in spaghetti. Detectives hate old spaghetti in the garbage.
“Ugghhh…. Spaghetti” coming from a forensic crime scene investigator made me laugh & roll my eyes all at the same time. Lol.
Same!!😂🤣😂
I laughed out loud, too!
I’m shocked that the gloves don’t go up to the elbow. At least over the wrist.
And she had gloves come on, grossed out about spaghetti pathetic.
Right?!? I mean what would she of said if it was actually blood? 🤣
I have one question. Why was that whole property not set up as a crime seen. They have three or four departments out there with the excuse "That is not my job" when they were questioned about evidence not collected. He'll the house keeper went in and washed his clothes. Wow!!!!
I agree! No clothes should have ever been washed let alone the house cleaned near the location of the murder.
Yes! She should never been allowed in the house!
And his Law firm partners were all over the place as well...walking around...close enough to tell what shell casings were at the crime scene
@@Hey_its_just_me_to The funny thing is AM had specifically instructed her to enter the premises from the side where there were no cops. Just in case they WOULD send her away, I guess.
It's "crime SCENE".
Seeing this really helps me appreciate how much detail [or lack of detail] goes into looking through one trash bag... let alone the entire property and vehicles etc etc.

She was seeing a divorce lawyer before she was murdered
Guilty as sin!
Ammo boxes are damning evidence but still circumstantial. The snap chat video is more incriminating because Alex lied to investigators about his whereabouts.
I hope the jurors will not forget that part!!!!!

Lol if ammo boxes are damning evidence then literally every household in the state of SC is suspect 😂😂
I agree! I think the SnapChat video/audio is going to be one of the reasons he gets convicted.
They messed up so bad letting all of those people on that property. Just shows how “powerful” they were. It’s disgusting the way this was handled in my measly opinion. If he gets acquitted it’s all on the investigators.
And not decclaring the property as a crime scene. They didn't know where the shots came from.
yep, contaminating the crime scene. smudging all the finger prints on the bags and boxes... should have photos of each item and locations. i noticed this when they picked up shells by doorway on another video. Totally unprofessional.
And this happens more often than not. Officers, detectives rarely get trained well they have to be in the field and that’s how they get their experience. Or training they got goes out the window

@@deborahhershey3045 he’s talking about the fact that there was no physical evidence left behind to point to a certain killer and that the theory presented is that one man killed 2 people including his fairly large, athletically built, in very good shape, in his prime son, with 2 different large firearms. How? He shoots one or the other first with one weapon and the other just stands there and waits their turn while he puts down either the shot gun or the rifle and picks up either the shot gun or the rifle and then finally shoots the second one? He for sure didn’t go in with the shot gun in one hand and the rifle in the other and shot them at the same time so why didn’t the other one run? Fight back? Something? And where did his bloody clothes go? Someone was there with him and that someone took his bloody clothes and those murder weapons with them to be destroyed when they left that property. I’m sure he’s got more than a few people in his circle willing to do that for him.

What evidence - if they didn’t find anything what is your point? These people hunted all the time. Of course there are going to be empty boxes of ammunition.
Umm what evidence? Especially in this video? There’s nothing. Other than the video his son took that proves he lied to law enforcement and proves he was out there with them they literally have NOTHING ELSE on him.
Hear the dogs barking? If a stranger was near the kennels wouldn’t they have heard more barking on Paul’s phone. This is the problem with small town officers who aren’t involved in big or complex murder cases. Why not remove the bags to the sherriff’s office and go through it in a clean area where family DNA would not contaminate the search.
Now this is a very interesting comment!
Those small town officers did their very best, considering like you said, they don’t deal with complex murder cases. What would you want them to do, wait an hour and a half for the first FBI or SLED agent to arrive? It’s easy to look back and say they should’ve done this or that. You have to consider where the property is and how long it’s going to take any highly trained SLED or FBI agent to arrive on scene. Everything you see them doing, they were instructed to do. The immediate scene was secured. The house was searched. Everyone on scene the next day are trained professionals with much experience. Even the night of, the first to arrive and questioning AM was calm, asking important questions and communicating with more officers arriving. The dogs aren’t your typical house pets. They are hunting dogs and used to being around strangers. However, I, like you, don’t believe there were any strangers in sight when the actual murders happened. If only they could talk.
@@jglangston this is the day after... this is SLED doing this sloppy investigative work.

The real crime being committed here is drinking Juicy Juice and eating Texas Toast out of the box
This is some sloppy evidence collecting, no bags to put evidence in, didn’t even label anything, just put it the back of there vehicle, who shows up to collect evidence with no bags to label and put evidence in, they didn’t even go through the bags completely, they just assumed. Ppl have become so lazy and sloppy at their jobs, there’s no pride in what ppl do anymore, they simply just don’t care even when down to people being murdered. This is a SLED investigation team that is very unorganized, going to do as little as possible to process and collect evidence because it’s Hot outside.

Glad so many are happy just sitting around. Unbelievable.
When I was management in retail we were supposed to check the trash to make sure no one was sneaking merchandise out the back door to grab later. One of the things they specifically told us was to look under gross stuff like old food because that was a good way for them to hide things because they would know we wouldn’t want to touch it. So they looked in the trash but didn't execute the search warrant for the home because they "didn't want to disturb" Alex and his buddies.

The whole area should have been taped off. No in. No out. All trash taken to the lab. You don't know what evidence is in the bottom of the Chik Fil A bag they casually dismiss as - scraps. But, all that aside, this would be enough to cause a defense lawyer great distress. The ammo boxes alone would convict you in most of the US.

Don't forget AM also arranged to have himself Shot in the head ! AM is obviously deeply disturbed !

Shows how thorough the police were in searching the trash. They uncovered boxes of ammo. Yes - they were avid hunters - but we should see the DNA of someone else in these places if the defense is going with the two shooter theory. There should be exculpatory evidence somewhere in that crime scene. And so far - there is none! Not one iota. It all seems to point to Alex. One of the most relevant and incriminating facts in the suspect's image sequences is the force he exerts to try to cry. He doesn't shed tears, there are no clear signs of nasal congestion and resulting mucus. This staging is incredible and can work completely against its objectives. With the release of the images, I believe the trial ended before it even began. Let justice be served.

This is actually entirely irrelevant and not incriminating at all by the slightest definition of the word.
Emotions aren't evidence. Not everyone grieves the same way, and also not everyone cries. I'm not saying he is innocent or anything, I am just saying that none of this could be used as evidence.
@@PTMG But behaviors are very important elements of the investigation. And if it leads to suspecting a person, their entire defense falls apart.
Therefore, it's important to be aware of one's own behavior and avoid any actions that could be interpreted as suspicious or incriminating. That is much more important in court in front of the jury.
that's not evidence

SLED did an amazing job F'ing up this case. I hope they can can still get a conviction somehow 🙄😏
How did they F up this case?
I agree they should use this in training as what Not to do in a crime scene looking potential evidence
All people do is repeat what they hear others say online and suddenly they’re an expert. SLED did the best they could do considering WHO they were dealing with. Did you not see the video footage. They immediately taped off the area and started their process. They’re only so much evidence to collect. Just because they don’t have evidence from another person doing the deed does not mean they did a sloppy job. And remember, they’re human too and in that situation it was difficult to control so many people. And I think that’s one of the many reasons AM called so MANY to come there right away. More confusion & people to contaminate the scene.
If the officer said he was looking for shell casings and ammo from the trash bags the day after the murders, they already suspected Alex.
Well why wouldn’t he be the first person of interest just like literally EVERY other spouse in EVERY other homicide case ever? You ALWAYS look at the person closest to the victims first and always search the crime scene and immediate areas first.
the spouse is always the #1 suspect- until they rule it out. they never ruled AM out
So all that consoling of AM in the car was in effect 'an act' because they had their suspicions even from that point?
I don’t think they went through it enough.
They don't even know what they are looking for,

i wOuld think they took them to the evidence room and labeled them-- not much to go on though --
Why is this video dated at the top right corner 2021?
It doesn't and didn't matter. Thay are NOT looking for trace evidence. DNA collection from garbage is next to impossible that has any evidentiary value. They are only looking for gross anything firearm related like ammo boxes and casings. So many untrained experts posting nonsense here.
If this lady is grossed out by spaghetti I'm not sure this is the job for her lol.
I'm shocked they didn't have any evidence bags at the ready or a planned place to put possible evidence. So unorganized.
Not to mention as soon as they see it's nasty food they barely look through it or just said "it's all food from the fridge" and toss it aside. To me, that's a good place to hide evidence because of people's natural reaction to not wanting to touch or go through it.
Then again they do have actual experience vs myself so maybe they know it's unlikely. But I think they still should have some kind of tray to place food on if they are looking for bullets to better assist with searching.
They do have evidence bags there
If anything paper was in with the food, it would be unreadable as the ink would smear with the wetness...especially cash register receipts. He said they were looking for evidence of buying the shells.

The Gucci transaction will probably be a pair of mens loafers. Just wondering if LE ever found the ones Alex was wearing in the Snapchat video of him standing by the tree. The Gucci purchase was made on June 3rd and was in a bag *under* the ammo boxes. Which means the trash is very recent to the murders, probably put there on the 6 & 7th. Ammo is still circumstantial but I'm interested in the Gucci buy. It could be something Maggie bought, hopefully it'll be released at some point.

I don’t think they can use any DNA or prints on the things they find because they have to see those things being thrown in the trash to ensure who they belong to. But I would love to hear from someone else in law enforcement about how these are typically done and if this is the usual.
Sloppy!! Why is all the family in the house during the crime scene not even 24 hours after the crime!!!! With this high profile family, should have called the FBI to take the crime scene! It was contaminated the night it happened!! Picking up she'll casings before taking pics of where they are!!! What a joke!! Yes I know crime scenes!!
They are not looking for "trace evidence", they are looking for anything firearm related.
I wonder why that one charge to Gucci was circled…to dispute? Did the wife find it to question him about?
I’m pretty sure it was the other way around. He found it, she spent it, he probably had some for her about spending that kind of money on useless crap knowing they were drowning in debt with a 30 million lawsuit hanging over their heads. I would’ve been enraged too wouldn’t have handled it the way he did but she obviously had no appreciation for the money she thought grew on tress because she never was the one working or earning any of it just the one spending it
@@fcameron8172 yes…I meant to edit my comment, saying that perhaps it was him going to question her about the charge.

Alex went to hookers in the past, maybe it was a gift to someone. Apparently Alex nearly killed the one prostitute with his aggressiveness. Paul also became very aggressive with his girlfriend.
Might be why he killed her . He went into a rage .
She had hired an Accountant to go over all their finances because she thought Alex was lying and keeping things from her .
They weren't in a good place when she was killed .
This is a horrible way to conduct a crime scene! 😡💯💩
If I were going through the trash, I would have covered myself in more than gloves. I would have my shoes and whole body and face covered.
Well lucky for you that it wasn't you who had to go through it.
They are Hunters so finding shell boxes is no surprise
I was surprised to see all the empty boxes neatly closed before discarding. Are hunters that OCD?
It's also a murder scene
But shells in the trash the night before
@@2Sickgreg doesn’t matter NONE of those ammo boxes match the ammo relevant to the weapons used in the homicides.

Never looked in the smoke house at the dad's house!
That was an incredibly inept and sloppy "investigation". For that reason alone, if this isn't a hung jury, I will be shocked.
Are you shocked? 😅
Its sloppy how the investigators filmed themselves finding the bullet packaging?
@@br2461 - No, I am happy af...!!!
@@mysticblue2633 - What?? Clearly you did not follow this case very close. Had Paul not made that video on his phone, he would not have been convicted.
@@greenbeagle13 He had gun powder all over his hands and jacket. They found the bullet packaging and they found matching bullets fired from the same rare caliber at their range. His cell phone pinged at the house. Guy couldn't be more guilty.
Found boxes of ammo at a hunting lodge? Fry him!
it's just not fair that now, Alex is reaching out from prison to continue to ruin other people's live "just because he can"!! Something should be done about people in prison giving him so much status!
They should have looked at that torn picture of that female
As a woman im surprised that didn't catch the female officers attention.... torn pic of a woman??? That USUALLY points to some fuckery
Maggie and Paul died June 7th and there just checked the truck and trash in August 🤔🤔😲😲my prayers are with the family 🙏❣️
Sylvia, did you not see that this bodycam is the day after the murders?? Hello?
You’d think they’d individually examine each item in the bag and and take them out one at a time. They could’ve missed crucial pieces of evidence because of their non-thorough search.
My thoughts exactly !
Laying evidence on the ground. WTAF?
They will take pics of them and process them. They’ve been in a garbage bag ffs lol contamination has already happened. There’s no evidence on said boxes besides finger prints- it’s not like the boxes were used to hack someone to death.
@@missychelle33 it's not supposed to happen like that, even if in the garbage. Just a few weeks ago, we saw video of LE being much more careful pulling out evidence from the trash for the murder of Ana Walshe.
@@IzzyMariel well departments are different. Obviously.
@@missychelle33 I agree. If this investigation would have been better overall, I probably wouldn't have made the comment I made.
No need to take fingerprints nor DNA from these trash.
If you don’t want your business out there don’t do bad stuff. Your life privacy and even trash will be uncovered.
