    For anyone having issues with weird clumping like me, xanthan gum shouldn't really be poured directly into a liquid and left to sit while more ingredients get added, because it clumps up really fast. A good practice would be to mix the xanthan gum with your sugar or add it while you have your blender running so it gets immediately distributed throughout your ice cream before it absorbs any liquid and thickens up. That said, if you're putting more than 10g of pudding mix in the ice cream, you don't need xanthan gum at all.

    I like the idea of adding the egg yolk for the added healthy fat

    You've come a long way from your first experience with the Ninja! I love your videos, John, and your inspirational messaging. I started following you after seeing Jelly Donut with SPG but then fell away for a while. You popped up in my suggested videos with your incredible weight loss journey. What a wonderful story of perseverence.

    I recently made a more healthier cheesecake recipe I found to test it out, I actually plan on adding a protein powder to it in the future next time I make it, the protein powder is the frosted flakes one recently found in walmart. It tastes like the milk of frosted flakes, but also very close to the flavor of a cheese cake. I feel it could amplify the flavor a bit, while also being more protein!
    I might try this recipe, and replace the cream cheese with greek yogurt, and the sweetener could be the protein powder I previously mentioned!
    I bet it would taste super with assorted berries.

    I love my Ninja Creami on my weight loss journey. Sub the protein Creami for one meal. Cheese Cake is always my 1st choice. Any flavor.

    I’ve just ordered a creami and excited about trying out recipes. I’ll be checking out your other vids.
    Much healthier than the shop bought alternative. I mean - who doesn’t absolutely love ice cream.
    I’m carnivore so wondering about a healthy usugar substitute. I’ve been using xylitol but it doesn’t agree with me
    Thanks for the recipe - keep them coming. 🤣🤣

    My wife and I love cheesecake and raspberries. But the only place to get a decent ice cream like thing is from Culver's but it's not too waist friendly. This is perfect for us. It's very easy to make and I already have most of the ingredients. I need to get a ninja creamy. My little blender is screaming at me from trying these recipes. I think it's going to die on me.

      This would be REALLY good with some raspberries mixed in! I've done this same recipe with frozen strawberries and it made some really tasty strawberry cheesecake ice cream.

    Freeze the container with the lid off, and the bump will not form. You can put the lid on once the mixture freezes.

    does the cream cheese need to be whipped or can i just use regular cream cheese? also if im using regular milk instead of fat-free milk, do i still need to use the egg yolk?

    • @TheCogIsShred
      @TheCogIsShred  5 часов назад +1

      @snake1625b I imagine regular cream cheese would work as well. And sure, you can pass on the egg yolk with regular milk. The great thing about the Ninja Creami is that you can be flexible and experiment to find what you like best. Thanks for asking!

    Hi I live in Englad what is the replacement for jello?

    • @TheCogIsShred
      @TheCogIsShred  7 дней назад +1

      @teresajackson927 Good question, thanks for asking! I'd suggest looking for another brand of sugar free pudding mix or custard mix. I've found brands like Osem and Moir's, and I'm sure there are others. If you can't find Cheesecake flavour, you may be able to use vanilla, or maybe use a little more cream cheese and sweetener in place of the pudding mix. I hope that helps! 😁

      Not sure about the quality of eggs in your area. I am 53 from Vancouver Canada and I've been eating raw eggs my whole life without issues. I'll add one or two cracked eggs to rice dishes mostly. Nature's Gravy.
      More recently I've been adding them to my protein shakes. 1egg, 85g cold brew coffee, 85g OJ plus one scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder. My favourite pre workout 😋
      If the raw egg bothers you then you can low simmer the milk and egg a bit to pasteurize it. Cool it and then continue on with the rest of recipe assembly.
