Elvie brings some new Customers to view Daryl's brand new- just assembled Hungry Horse model log home from Meadowlark. A few changes were made to the plans including a different placement for the front door and adding a 6'x32' covered porch along the other long side of the home.
Elvie does not have to do a sales talk for these folks. First, they are impressed with the quality of the home and the craftsmanship at Meadowlark, and also the quality and care with which Chris and his sons have re-assembled the home onsite from floor to roof, and best of all, Elvie is able to save his voice because Daryl does the speaking for him as he happily embarks on a rave about how he loves his new home.

I realize this video was a year ago yet it still does not matter because you guys have been in business for quite some time and with his quality of craftsmanship and work you will be in business for a long time to come

Love the atmosphere... for now I'm at our family farmhouse in Guangxi, China built 1940... dirt floor and heated by one big fireplace used for cooking like our forefathers used.

my one question to you is do you plant another tree after cut a good old tree down we would be very pleased to see this done by all loggers not just you that way you manage to keep a balance with nature hope you will take note of my question which applies to all loggers

You have to go through the kitchen to get to the downstairs bedroom or is that a dining room? I love the wood but the layout needs work.

Nice ...but the porches aren’t deep enough for rocking chairs and room to move around them. I didn’t see any way to exit the porch except from one end of the house. I might have missed them. Other than that I liked it. Wouldn’t be hard to remedy the things I mentioned. 👍
You could have 8 foot porches and a large porch on the front. I agree they are a bit narrow

Every model on our website has prices. This one is custom and not yet on the website, but the closest plan to it is the Hungry Horse.
Question please : it allowed in America that I put log house on my land, I mean inside the city ( Residential area ) , between houses ? Please reply from those who know and have information.
Log homes are allowed in many cities but you would have to contact the local building department for answers pertaining to each jurisdiction.

Nice home but Too much drywall .
I was surprised that there is drywall in it . I always thought log cabins all walls are made from wooden logs not dry wallboard .
My wife and I had a trailer until 2007 when they forclosed on us then I lost her 2013 to suicide I have a new wife coming and want to give her a new home for us
