Elvie and daughter Janna are visiting 6 log cabins near Friday Harbor, Washington that our father Ora Miller assembled in 1998 for Lakedale Resort.

After 25 years these log homes your dad built are very lovely. Of course the weather had affected the outside but like you said they were very sound. The inside of the cabins seems pretty well kept. The stain your dad used held its great looks even though they are rentals. Thank you for showing us the video.

I used to babysit for a couple had a two storey log cabin on Stoney Lake in Ontario. It was absolutely beautiful. I can't even tell you how homey it feels in one of those with all that wood. I would live in one in a second.
I like this so well I’m imagining where to build it and if I want the upstairs bedroom for myself ..... then turn the downstairs bedroom into a study with a sleeper couch! Your work is incredibly beautiful! It’s a dream for me to own one! ❤️

Great! I'm sold. ..I'm looking for a log home right now but it must have a fireplace. .I mean. .what's the point of a log cabin without one, but I do want a wood burning fireplace or even a wood stove will do as long as it has plenty of glass to see the fire. ...also nice porch. .
Everything you need. .kitchen could be a little bigger but I would make do
Only issue I have with this cabin is no washer and dryer. ..but I do understand that they are rentals. .I'm sure if you ordered on to live in you can customize it. ..

Great log cabin.It is verry common in Romania in special in areas over 800 m altitude,and in mountains where it is a lot of pine,fir ,andspruce trees.I love them.Congrats

I wish that my family could afford these log cabins as it has been a dream of my husband’s since we have been married. However, God has had different plans for our family.

I like the second one better as far as the windows go right at the roof line the triangle ones. Also thank you for showing around the side while it’s somewhat like I wanted to do but I have my own floor plan like putting the kitchen underneath the stairwell area so you don’t waste all the space up kind of reversing the floor plan around. Putting the OK kitchen table underneath the stairwell area still have your formal dining room and the living room just having a kitchen table in the kitchen area and your dining. SSRI can I have my own floor plan sells just wondering if you can do that all right thank you.

Beautiful cabins! Jenna made me smile, because she looks exactly like my daughter, when she was 10....they could be twins, they look so much alike. As a Quaker, I am fond of the name of your company, because we Quakers are a lot like the Amish, though, with cars and electricity.... Do the Amish have cars and electricity these days, now? When I tell people I am Quaker, they always ask: "I didn't think you people drive cars". So, I tell them: "No, we don't: we are like the French, in that, we don't drive them, we just aim them."
When I saw the exterior lack of maintenance and I see the interior of the cabin look like just been built do you have a video showing cabins you have refurbished
Like the floor plan but think I'd like to have it a little bit bigger. Maybe 1300 to 1400 sq feet.

Log homes are very energy efficient, much more so than your average frame home. You can expect 20 to 30% or even more energy savings in heating and cooling costs.
That is great! Iam looking to move back to my home state of Pennsylvania, currently living in Florida for the past 30+ years. Just too hot for me here. And I would love to have you build me a beautiful home like in this video. Like the floor plan from what I see. Y’all do excellent craftsmanship and put yalls heart into it and that’s what makes your company what it is today.

I wonder how much it would cost to build this 20 by 20 or a 30 by 40 for more room inside really digging these n bought 10 acres of woods next to me last year and my kids think n me to that rent them as a AirBnB would be awesome plus them r other friends in family when not rented or when they feel the need, Im 45-50 miles from a major city and 20 and 30 miles from 3 other small citys here in Ohio
To get better cost ideas you would have to contact the staff at Meadowlark Log Homes. I know that by the time you add shipping and all the details to Ohio it is more costly than your local framers. In addition to that, we are almost a year and a half sold out before we can get to the next project.

Should have fireplace where main window is, fireplace with lead lining to retain heat. Also not fond of the rounded corner in the logs leading into rooms, eats up space and flow, cutting logs level with wall would be better, greatly enlarge feeling of halls and rooms... I do kike the fact that there is a porch in the back, it would be nice to have a front porch as well.
