I grew up in the 1970s in a 12’ by 40’ trailer with my mom, dad, and two sisters, and two dogs. We had two bedrooms and one bath. It was close, close quarters. We didn’t realize we were on the poor side. We really had a wonderful childhood. We lived on an acre in a rural Texas town. I miss laying in bed and hearing mama and daddy talking low with the tv on. Blessed we were. Who would have thought a ‘tiny’ house would be a thing. Lol
Me too! Only one dog but many ducks lol. Mom & dad gave us girls the master bedroom in the back with a bunk bed and twin bed, good memories! We lived out in the country so we didn’t even know what cable tv was so we didn’t care. I remember kids on the bus singing, “The Brady Bunch” and we had no idea what they were going on about, lol
Me Too. 2 bedroom 1 bath, we had 4 girls, 1 boy & Mother & Father in 12 x 40 trailer, I slept on the couch, 2 of my sisters slept on cots & other sister slept on top of our low profile dresser, my brother had a room to his self & parents had other room.
@@Wisdom-Nuggets-Tid-BitsI would be comfortable in a < 2,000 sq ft home if I could have a shower the size of my current bathroom (about 10’ x 8’) and a nice soaking tub with a bay window with a nice view of the mountains or the beach. 😍 And I want a fridge with an ice dispenser in the door. 😂 I don’t ask for much. The duplex I live in now is 890 sq ft.

This tiny home is a Homerun. The only thing I would change would be to put a little railing across the front of that office area. I guess it’s just me. And I could not deal with an incinerator toilet, because you got to put a liner in it before you use it that’s a no go
This tiny home is the best one yet!!! A very well designed unit with everything one could need when you're downsizing and trying to live a simpler lifestyle! I absolutely loved it! Sad that you can't take it with you to your new property! You should definitely rebuttal that and see if they change their mind about it. Good luck on your next journey and Hopefully someone will enjoy it as much as you both do! Its beautiful! 🤩
Thank you. It was designed and built by Tiny Mountain Houses and then we made a few changes including the stairs and addition of the oven/micro. It is quite livable.
800 to 900 feet is a house. Here in el paso there's homes that are that size. I remember being amazed by people living in 180 sq ft. But now its like the have full size appliances, full bathrooms, lofts and more. It just doesn't hit the same.
It needs to be for many people So I’m glad lol. This is stunning. Definitely my style for my needs. My step brother in Nelson BC owns Nelson tiny homes. (He is one of a kind actually lives in them growing larger with more children :). He’s has some on RUclips too) He started with a tiny tiny home, now it seems he builds ones these size a lot more. Before you didn’t see as many families:)
The downstairs of this house is the first tiny home that I absolutely love! I could really see living in it. It is a brilliant design with everything really thought out well. FINALLY a bannister on the stairs! I especially LOVE the living room, what a very comfortable looking room! I love the kitchen and the bathroom as well. The window in the bathroom is brilliant, as is the vanity! The kitchen looks stunning and meets every counter space and storage requirement my heart could desire. The upstairs....it looks comfortable, but personally I just couldn't see living or working in such a cramped space, but that is my beef with the dozens of tiny homes I have seen at this point. I have only seen one that has a proper roof height in the upstairs bedroom. He says here that he is 60 and has no trouble with bending double to access and use the bedroom. As someone who has had back problems...sadly...not a chance in hell I could do that and I am 20 years younger. He says he is 5ft 8 and the ceiling looks really high above him. Personally I would sacrifice roof height from downstairs for roof height upstairs.
The downstairs for me is perfect.. the light that flows through this tiny home with those big windows I love it I love it I love it I love it! I love that complete kitchen I love that that the tiny house is wide so when you're walking through you're not bumping up against cabinets because the walk space was about 36 in wide...Love it!❤ but if I'm going to go up a few stairs I do not want to be on my knees crawling into a bed we have to be reminded that we're getting older a stand-up bedroom is what would have been ideal! This is the only thing that I would change but overall I love it😊
Beautiful tiny home! I am hoping to downsize when I retire. So many states do not allow tiny homes to be placed on land. Hopefully over time, that will change!
Most the states that matter (not being uppity it's just a fact these states are where a lot of money is) are if not 100% tiny home friendly are working towards it actively. California, Texas, Florida, Georgia are all pretty friendly to tiny homes and actively seeing laws change. With states like Washington, Oregon, Carolinas not far behind. Also the crack down is more in city limits. If you aren't opposed to being outside a major city a lot of unincorporated land etc tend to not care. I just bought a tiny home and setting up shop in a tiny community outside Dallas by about 30 miles while I work with a realtor to find a piece of dirt to call my own. I know it's coming slow but if you are on a coastal state the conditions are changing (for government) really quickly.
I LOVE this! They designed it so thoughtfully, using every possible inch of space. It’s so clever and thoughtfully put together. Lacks nothing and so organized!
This tiny house is well thought out. Many times, it's hard to imagine living in a tiny house without adequate room for clothing and other necessities. I can see myself living in this beautiful tiny home!

Beautiful tiny home you have. My first home was a 2 bedroom ranch 1 1/2 bath. 950 sq ft. It had a fireplace and garage. Bought for $35k in 1980 in NC. Those were the days. Wish I had it now. The cost of homes today are insane.
Absolutely Love the kitchen and bathroom. I would need a stand in Bedroom but this home has plenty of functionally witch is extremely important for me. Very nice! Thank you
The teal, the corner window by the bed (my favorite part), the countertops, the wardrobe and dusk upstairs and the way you framed the windows, the detail on the bathroom pocket door, makes this a beautiful little home.
Your home is gorgeous and used space really efficiently. I love the storage under the stairs, that was my favorite. The toilet was so cool, I didn't know they did that. Every inch is used beautifully!❤😊

I agree, but you are just selling your house? How do we get in touch with your builder? Please forgive me. I haven’t read every comment to find out that info. Have you sold you home yet ? 🙂
My husband and I in 1986, our very first house was a 10x50 fleetwood gutted out trailer/ mobile home with plywood floors and one small piece of cabnet barely hanging on the wall and on one end of that cabinet it was open and you could see the plates and cups. It was a one bath and no closets at all. No heat or ac either. It also had the type of windows with the individual slits of glass that fit into aluminum framing, that opened by cranking the handle. They would open and close like a car vent does and there were no screens on those type of windows either! The bathroom was so small that your knees touched up against the small sink vanity when sitting on the toilet. We had to move that wall into the livingroom a bit to allow for a bit more leg room in that bathroom. We lived in that thing for 8 years before building our first Timber Frame 1.5 story home ourselves, which took us a year to complete after allowing the freshly cut timbers to dry for the first six months and the treating of the lumber. Since the mobile home was so small we had to place our washer, dryer, and chest freezer outside in one of those little metal sheds. We would have been in heaven to have had one of those types of tiny homes back then! Or even any of the modern mobile homes of today! Some of those double and triple wides are very spacious and pretty, but I just can't bring myself to invest into one of those that only depreciates once you pull them off the lot, not to mention you are only allowed to have them moved twice in their lifetime. Also, every year having to place a tag on them outside like a car tag, lol. His place looks nice, but for me, the drawback is having to climb that ladder into that loft with no head space. It is just crazy especially for older or handicap people. Also, not having another room or two or even a washer or dryer inside. Also, another bathroom would be nice. Too each their own, or for a single younger person, I guess it would be sufficient enough just like that 10x50 trailer was for us when we were in our early 20's. Give me my site built house even though it is only 1344sq anytime over something that small. He does have it nice looking, clean, and everything well placed and I do especially love all the storage places and slide outs in that sraircase as well as some of the other storage areas he showed. I wonder how much that set him back! I also love his little porch/seating area outside and the little fencing with all the lighting hanging from it and the lighting also on the pathway leading up to the tiny house. Also the pavers leading to his tiny shed. He has his tiny place, looking cute!
Beautiful home … I really like how the living room is set to the back with the sliding glass doors - great kitchen the entire home looks so spacious- lots of storage I also have 3 cream golden retrievers so they are a major factor in where we live :)
Wow, gorgeous!!. Loads of light, efficient use of space without feeling cramped. This would be a mansion for me as a single woman with 2 kitties. Love it, love it, I'm sure I couldn't afford it but I can dream!
Natalie, you are doing a great job filming . Egypt, you are doing such an amazing job helping with the chores. Baby Pharaoh and Sahara are both as cute as ever. All of the animals look so good. I am praying that Ester has a quick and easy surgery and that I think her name is caramels spirits get lifted, and she heals quickly. Lots of love from Iowa!😁❤❤❤
Beautiful home ... Loved every moment of your video and the camera person did a great job as well as the narrator about the home. Favorite room, the kitchen. 🙂
The video is very informative about such a magnificent tiny home. I believe not only is it spacious, it all was thought out very streamline, and with clean lines. I enjoyed your video and the visit to your tiny home. I hope all is well with both of you and you are happy. Having a home and being with the one you love is what a lot of people want. Having a tiny home just makes it extra special to be happy in. Less cost to live means income you did not think you would have. Just a great video, so I want to thank you for your video, that to me was done very well. You did not miss any of the important things people need to know about this beautiful tiny home. Best one I have seen so far, and I have been online learning all I can about tiny homes.
Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing with us. I wish I could take it from you and bring to the Caribbean. I can definitely live in it. Sending you much ❤ from Antigua 🇦🇬. 😊
This is a lovely home. When you spoke of taking it with you, I can only assume that this house is on a trailer. Can you get into more detail such as cost, home on trailer, washer/dryer install, and anything else of importance. Thanks
Thank you for watching. Yes, the foundation is a trailer so it can be moved and will need to be moved. We used a transport service which made it a pretty simple process. From Texas to Wisconsin last year was $2200 ($2.20/mile) We are asking $145,000 or reasonable and fair offer. It's a wonderful Tiny House and very well filmed and put together. Good luck with the sale of it - I am sure it will sell very quickly. I wish you many blessings for your new adventures in Virginia which is a beautiful place - I visited that many many years ago!! Psyche aka Psyche Thonnpson UK 🌹
It's beautiful absolutely beautiful. Obviously going from a house to a tiny home you have to downsize on possessions but there's plenty of room for what you really need. Good luck with your sale.
I’ve never seen better storage. Hope you sell it. (Think it would have presented better with a sofa on the longer wall as the two seater makes it appear smaller, and the fan looks dangerously close to your head.) Hope you enjoy Virginia living; lived there most of my adult life.
Ein sehr schön und intelligent durchdachtes Tinyhouse. Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Toilette welche nur Asche hinterlässt, ist grandios. Sowas hab ich vorher noch nicht gekannt. Immer wieder erstaunlich, was es mittlerweile alles gibt. Danke für den tollen Einblick. Schöne Grüße aus Wien. 😊
Wow this is absolutely gorgeous and amazing. I'd love to have one like that, it would solve all my current problems. Your kitchen is bigger than the studio my daughter and I live in now. So impressive & amazing. Congratulations on this beauty 💞
Thank you for watching and for the kind remarks. Yes its a beautiful property, it's on my extended family farm set 1/3 mile off of the main road, very private.
That ceiling fan is a little bit scary right there. A guest going upstairs for the first time might just lose an eye. Also, he's sixty. That office-loft will soon become unavailable to them. By 80, they may not be able to make it up to the bedroom either. So these are really only for younger people.
:) Optical illusion! When we first put the stairs it and I first walked up actually blew through my 1/4" of hair - but we raised it so you would have to be tall and lean far over the rail to hit it now. There likely is a limit to how long one could continue to live with the obstacles you speak of but for us at 60 it is really not an issue.
Very pretty. The big medicine cabinet is a plus. In 1971 I lived in a 12' x 60' mobile home that was divided in half for 2 families. I've always preferred small cozy homes.
Nice home. Should you need to update ur sale video - didn’t see closet space if washer/dryer installed, nor eating area/table, so you might include those spaces.
They have an incinerating toilet. With tiny homes you *must* find the land first BEFORE you design and build your home because every city, state, county, township, and unincorporated area has their own rules and laws, and they can and do change. A lot of tiny homeowners learn a very hard lesson about this when they invest 100K+ in a home they can never move, but have to do so because they don't own the land they're parked on. It's a very common problem. Yet, it doesn't stop there. Then you have HOAs who demand a site-built home...of at least 800 sq ft (unless it was built before the laws was made, already existing, and thus grandfathered in). I've been looking for land since 2010, hoping laws would change. Even during the pandemic, when most all other rules and laws were pushed aside to get people housed, the laws for tiny homes didn't change in very many places. The most sought-after tiny home communities have at least a hundred+ people on their waiting list for land to RENT...not even to buy. You almost have to know someone rural who will allow you to rent space and pay for your home to be hooked into their utilities. Even some family members won't do that, and some will (especially if they're adult children). Then you have another hurdle to jump, and it's also a very big one: getting someone to insure your tiny home. If you live in a wildfire-prone (i.e. lightning), tornado-prone, or hurricane-prone area, you can almost kiss that goodbye...or be ready to pay exorbitant annual insurance premiums (i.e. couple thousand, which is more than you would pay for a standard home that is worth more). In California, you can expect to pay *at least* $1,200 to park a tiny home in a 100-mile radius of SF, LA, or SD. You'll pay $700-$1,200 to park 100-200 miles outside of a majority city. By the time you get "far enough away" from a major city, you're smack in the middle of wildfire country. It's really a never-ending battle...and that doesn't even take into effect the cost to actually pay to move a tiny home that is wider that 8'4", and the special permit that requires, and the wide-load banner, and if you're 10' wide, you can NOT move your home without first paying the DOT (I think?) for escort cars to drive in front of and behind your extra wide load. Plus, THEY decide on the route you will take and when you can take it. Nope, not kidding.

This Tiny Home is absolutely amazing Beautiful it has everything you need and some it is Breathtakingly magnificent❤❤
Thank you so much!
I like the railing, I always wondered how ppl did without. Love the kitchen too
Beautiful home … I really like how the living room is set to the back with the sliding glass doors - great kitchen the entire home looks so spacious- lots of storage I also have 3 cream golden retrievers so they are a major factor in where we live :)
Gorgeous home! Well, put together video. Best wishes.

❤❤❤ wonderful , hope you sell and move to your new land😊
Thank you for watching! I hope so too!
Hello Dame how are you doing hopefully you are doing good?
incredible how you managed to use every little bit of space !!!!
You did an excellent job showing your house as well.
Thank You!
This is the first tiny home I've seen that I really love. I've seen many tiny homes. None like this one. What a blessing this will be for someone.
Thank you for watching and for the kind remarks.
I adore it but have no where to put it! That's my biggest issue lol good luck.
One of the best tiny homes I’ve seen so far. Beautiful. 19:00 my husband and I are looking to downsize soon.
Thank you!
I absolutely loved this one it's beautiful This was one of the better ones I have seen
Thank you for watching and for the kind remark.
The storage space is so clever and creative!
Thank you. We worked hard on putting all of that together.
Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing with us. I wish I could take it from you and bring to the Caribbean. I can definitely live in it. Sending you much ❤ from Antigua 🇦🇬. 😊
Thank you, we appreciate the kind remarks. Thanks for viewing our video!
Beautiful home, thanks for the tour. Very impressive kitchen organization, good sized bathroom, cozy living room, nice office 😊.
Thanks so much! 😊
I love this tiny home beautiful love it
Thank you!
I love the pull out pantry shelf!
You can find listings on Facebook Marketplace at Loren M Hoisington and at

Thank you, we appreciate the kind remarks. Thanks for viewing our video!
he reminds me so much of my dad and my former grandpa in law
It's beautiful absolutely beautiful. Obviously going from a house to a tiny home you have to downsize on possessions but there's plenty of room for what you really need. Good luck with your sale.
Thanks much!
It’s REALLY beautiful! What I absolutely love is how bright and open it is! It’s perfect for a single person with a dog/cat or 2!
Thank you for watching and for the kind remarks.
This home is gorgeous!!!❤
Thank you, we appreciate the kind remarks. Thanks for viewing our video!
Beautiful. Thanks for the dimensions at end. Without mentioning them, I thought this a park model with stnrd 10' width. Plenty mobility space
Thank you for watching and for the kind remarks.
Thanks so much! 😊
. *YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL HOME !!!*
. *Thank you for sharing.*
. *THE BEST OF EVERYTHING TO YOU AND THE DOGGIES ON YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE.*
Thank You!
I dislike any tiny home that you can’t stand up in the bedroom,to each there own.
Excellent luxrious tiny villa I would say in such a lovely surrounding
Thank you for watching and for the kind remarks. Yes its a beautiful property, it's on my extended family farm set 1/3 mile off of the main road, very private.
I lived in a camper for three years I can definitely do this
That ceiling fan is a little bit scary right there.
Thank you for watching
Very beautiful home and love everything about it.
Thanks so much for the kind remarks
Nice home. Should you need to update ur sale video - didn’t see closet space if washer/dryer installed, nor eating area/table, so you might include those spaces.
What a nice home and so much storage for a tiny house
Thank you
Beautiful home! What if you treated it like a mobile home? Take off the wheels and put it on some sort of blocks, the brick in the bottom.
Same in Florida almost impossible
One of the nicest bathroom layouts I've seen.
#1#LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE#LOVE THIS ONE#LOVE IT
Thank you for watching the video and we're happy you like it!
Love this design. Lots of windows, storage, etc. Wish I could find something like this in MA.
Glad you like it! We could relocate this one to MA for you :)
