We are in love with this spectacular tiny house! As the tiny house movement grows, it’s amazing to see these larger homes which have all the benefits of going tiny while still providing enough space for people to comfortably downsize without too much compromise. Cindy and Kraig are such lovely people and it’s fantastic to see them so happy in their stunning new home.
Love the ground-floor bedroom. So many of us don't want to go up and down stairs and it gets harder as you get older. Gorgeous kitchen and lovely couple!
I love that you're expanding your content to include larger tiny homes, realistically I think they're more practical, longterm, for many of us. This house is beautiful, I really enjoyed the couple and hope to see more like this as it helps with design ideas. Thank you Bryce and Rasa!
@Michelle Emm they´re practical for very young people who don´t own much and want/have to move a lot....but once you have kids or simply accumulate some stuff they don´t work anymore and you have to move into something bigger (or add a second tiny)
Completely agree. Love all of their videos but would love to see more small homes on permanent foundations. I'm planning on building a small home but something about really tiny homes on trailer beds I don't like.
@@bullishatresistance8830 Yes, absolutely! I've often longed to see expanded tiny home content, including tiny homes that aren't on wheels. My dream is to build a wee woodland off-grid cottage/cabin on a foundation. And I want to see more tiny house designs that build up rather than out, which also requires a permanent foundation.
One the best! I also LOVE that Cindy and Kraig didn't remove/hide all the evidence of real daily life and try to turn into into a 'perfect' show home just for the video -- tell it like it is!
Every time I watch this I want to move to NZ. Great views, great people, and a great place for a fraction of what my place in the US cost. The tiny home community is strong out there.
Really wish there wasn't a stigma of mobile homes in America being for the poor or trashy people. Allowing tiny house microvillages like this would give so many people an opportunity to get off the grid, and as can be seen in this video ,they won't be wasting tax dollars like those massive subdivisions with 3 story houses they keep building.
NZ is super expensive, cost of living and depending on where you live, it’s so unaffordable. Plus lower salaries depending on the job…it is great, but yeah, not exactly cheap! These videos that say people are “in Auckland” are definitely at least an hour from the city, or more in rush hour!
I love nz but the cost of living is quite high here. Australia is probably better for wages and cost of living. Though everywhere is doing it tough at the moment.
Honestly, I think this is my favourite episode. They're such a down to earth couple and they've created such a beautiful home. I loved their little fun jabs at each other, it feels really natural and not staged for the camera.
Sometimes I'm not sure whether I love these videos because of the gorgeous tiny houses or because of Bryce's delightful personality. Notice the way in this video he both manages to spark and calm Cindy and Kraig's hilarious marital "spats." Bryce, you're a treasure.
Ok here I go again this is the best I've seen and honestly I don't think anything will be better than this one...this could definitely work for my daughter and I...I love everything about this one...thankyou Bryce and Rasa what an amazing not so tiny tiny 💜🇦🇺
Love the downstairs bedroom - I adore the tiny houses with the really cute sleeping lofts, but part of me is always wondering how those people will cope when they get older, so it's great to see a 'future proofed' tiny. And while I prefer the smaller houses, it's good that this channel is showcasing larger 'tinies' too - a 'tiny tiny' will be too small for many people who might consider having a place this size.
Well This was completely unexpected and unusual. They didn't quite seem like the usual couples who live in tiny houses. Then there it was, another life and livelihood turned upside down by the pandemic, by Covid. And yet it brought them to this, their living in a very good sized tiny house built with love of family life. Built for their children and grandchildren to visit and stay in. The most unusual style I've ever seen. I love how they have their bedroom and I love thar upstairs room 💖 I'd like to see a return visit to them when they have the outside set up as I feel this will greatly change the house and how they use it too 💖
This is the first tiny home I’ve seen that feels like something that would work for my partner and I. The smidgen of extra spaces makes all the difference. I’d love to see an updated tour once they’ve built the deck and if they ever add the second pod!
Love that spacious loft! Yes, storage is always such an issue. Funny how many people add a shed onto the property. I also love their "mud" room. Very clever!
I was thinking that too about the sheds. I think that part of the tiny house movement means living on land and taking care of the land requires a bit of tools. And maintenance tools for the house, and their machinery I presume!
As a person of retirement age, I want to stress how much discipline it takes for an older person to downsize. Young people haven't accumulated as much stuff that means something to them or they remember working /saving for. I love these stories. Thank you for finding them for us.
@@Terrbel21 but you can enjoy it every day of your life. I love art, books, decor and having wall space to showcase it means a lot to me. Each piece of art gives me a good feeling of some sort. I'd also love to have a ton of windows like like house. :)
hence the extra shed hey - is that being charged as capital value...does it eventually end up as a section with lots of little outbuildings on it messy, lean twos which modern day housing did away with - they are already talking about an extra pod - when do they start paying rates as it would no longer be a trailer.
@@leejentaylor6195 It was said that they went into this build already considering a second pod. They are off the grid. It is sustanable. That is the true point of tiny homes. Downsize and be sustainable.
One of the best!! Thanks Bryce. $123,000 U. S. dollars is exceedingly a great bargain. That would be doable for most. Too many Americans still want a huge home. Why? More upkeep, more taxes, more to heat & cool.
I think this is the way of the future. You get the chance to own instead of renting a property, bringing more young people the chance to do this. They compost their waste and will be using solar panels, so this is a cleaner way to live off the grid, and save the planet. If i had the money to afford to purchase land, i would join the tiny house movement. 🏠 💗👍
Such a gorgeous home-it’s a new favorite for me- and such a lovely couple. May they and their family be happy in this home as long as they want! Blessings!🙏
Love all the light that comes in and the bathroom door is fantastic! Such a neat and clean looking home. Just beautiful. And that loaf of bread would really hit the spot right now! 😄
Wow, loved this tiny so much- especially the main level bedroom! Bryce's sincere excitement at entering each and every home is pure joy! And I always love to see the homeowners cooking delicious food- and think of the shared meal that they must all enjoy after the camera turns off! Thanks again for sharing- still a dream of mine!

This is one of the most livable homes I've seen on your channel. The extra size-and width-really make a difference in the feeling of spaciousness. I'm planning on tiny house living as my retirement forever home. I watch your videos for inspiration, and in this house, the main floor bedroom is a game changer. Once I reach my seventies, climbing up and down a sleeping loft will be out of the question.
As always, thank you guys for sharing another great home. The space built off the back was so smart and practical. The materials used kept it from being dark inside.
I love how you show the outside and inside… talk to the home owners about any issues, and bring up cost.. so as a viewer, we walk away with a full picture.
I really love tiny homes and Bryce does such a great job presenting them. I’d love to see him do a video about how they go in severe weather like storms and cyclones. Especially for big ones like this which obviously can’t be moved at short notice - or can they???

Agree! I’ve wanted to go tiny for some time but would need two tiny homes connected in some way with bedrooms on opposite ends. One of us snores (not me) and the other is always warm at night (not him) so separate bedrooms would be essential for nights when sleeping separately means a good nights rest.
A beautiful beautiful home warm cozy from the heart. Styling the home to what they like the most not making it so small. Everyone doesnt need an tiny home that feels so closed in.

Like the downstairs bedroom, large loft and mud room! My only issue would be that for going 12m long, I’d want a larger lounge area. But otherwise, great place!!
I love your show. It's my favorite for sure on tiny houses. Your a wonderful host. I would love to move to Australia and build a tiny home. It's just so lovely there.
The home is lovely. Can we talk about the land? How did they get it and how much did it cost? That is the real value for tiny home living. The surrounding land is everything.
Super wonderful home! Quite unexpected that it is so light and spacious, very practical layout especially with the huge multi use loft. But it also has cosy and private areas that still feel so light and airy and connected at the same time. Superb job guys! I love it.
Outstanding my sister says because ima bigger taller guyi can't downsize into a tiny home well videos like this fine couples home give me hope! Thank you great video.
This is definitely one of my favorites! I love tiny living with a little extra space especially with 5 cats and 2 dogs. The mudroom is such a clever idea. I love that’s they used those clear materials.
Cindy and Kraig you got the right stuff there. Function and beauty. And it's still just a bit bigger than conventional tiny homes, but serves your family all the better. Luv it!
Awesome space saving design! Always great to see inspiration like this! I converted my 200 sq ft garage into a beautiful tiny house and created a video to spread inspiration also!
I love the idea of tiny houses, but there is one aspect of them that concerns me: the considerable space between the floor of the house and the ground beneath. It seems to me that this is just asking for trouble, in the form of critters gaining access to the interior of the home by chewing through the floor. What's being done to remedy this?
Cracks me up when the small house community goes on and on about their closeness. I have always been friends with my neighbors, trading vegetables, sharing meals, summer backyard movies, etc. I have always lived in a regular sized house.
I have a bum leg and so many tiny homes have the sleeping area up in a loft and you need to climb a ladder or stairs, which is painful for me. This is a great solution for people like me.
Honestly the shot over the waka next to the solar panel made me instantly love this video, then came the home and wow! It has been so gorgeously planned and thought-out! Cindy and Kraig, a beautifully made home with amazing space saving hacks, love the rack over the sink!😍 Thanks for yet another amazing video Bryce! I hope we get to see a revisit when the deck is completed 😁
This is a spectacular home! Bravo to this lovely couple 👏 for the creation of this wonderful space to nurture their next phase of life, and the connections to their family. It looks wonderfully satisfying and content. And the price seems very reasonable for the end result. Thanks for sharing this with the wide world of Living Big In A Tiny House. 🙏🌟☮
Wow, this one is really beautiful! They have great taste and are very lucky to be able to do it. I love that they have a neighbor in a tiny house as well. They must not get big storms there, like tornadoes or cyclones, because their house would get blown away. They picked a beautiful spot and I think that's as important as the house. It's wonderful!!
That is a really nice house! I didn't hear about their land -- owned, rented, far from a decent-sized city for other supplies, fun, etc.? Is it a permanent location for them? One question that is coming up for me is permanent locations... how does that affect the tiny house goal? How does a tiny house change for permanent locations? I am wondering about the wheels, etc. The price sounds affordable for what they created. Any details about the materials?
One day I hope to accomplish my dream of living in a tiny house and living sustainably. I've gathered a lot of inspiration from the tiny homes on this channel.
Very impressive big tiny house 🏠😋 Especially the extended outer deck area very useful too. 👍 Nice. I thoroughly enjoyed 😍🤗✌️🙌🏻 Stay Safe and Stay Blessed all 👍 Take Care'🙌

They have a very lovely cozy home setup. Love the entire structure. The scenery outside is so wonderful.
They are such a beautiful couple, they match each other. The tiny house is a brilliant design
Awesome space saving design! Always great to see inspiration like this! I converted my 200 sq ft garage into a beautiful tiny house and created a video to spread inspiration also!
Good for them! Livin the dream! It’s wonderful!
Stunning! The tiny house is huge! One of the best designs I've seen on your channel!
One of the better homes I have seen. The upstairs is really good in that adults can actually stand up with a bit of headroom to spare.
Love this couple and their home! A perfect match!
Just stunning. This is one of my favorites. I wish we had this in the US. Thanks Bryce!!!
This house is perfection! That's pretty close to my dream kitchen as far as size, layout, and bench material. What a lovely home.
This is now my favourite tiny home, absolutely love the bathing room colour😎
Wow, this one is really beautiful! They have great taste and are very lucky to be able to do it. I love that they have a neighbor in a tiny house as well. They must not get big storms there, like tornadoes or cyclones, because their house would get blown away. They picked a beautiful spot and I think that's as important as the house. It's wonderful!!
This house is absolutely beautiful! The location it is at is awesome as well.
A absolute beautiful house. Very spacious and practical. 😊👍
Thank you for continuously creating content that inspires!
THIS!! Incredible space, I’ve watched hundreds of shows on tiny living and this is my favorite tiny home. Thank you for sharing and congrats!!!
Hello Deborah how are you doing today
