Yeah. I think I'd change the last fight so it's more obvious that Kylo is badly injured from the bowcaster shot so he's struggling ... and STILL kicking Rey's ass. Then he ends up Force slapping her into a tree again ... and Chewie shows up to shoot him again (with Finn over one shoulder.) Chewie exits then with both Finn and Rey over his shoulders & maybe Phasma (who should have been a Knight of Ren) arrives afterward to pull the grievously wounded Kylo off the planet. End the movie in mostly the same but start the next one with Luke asking Rey where the Other is because the Force told him that TWO apprentices were going to arrive, not one...

I agree with most of the changes very much, infact. Showing that Finn is very hesitant to hurt the other troopers because they've been brainwashed and are victims themselves would show another side of Star Wars that no one has ever seen before: Empathy for the Enemy. Now I disgree with removing the fight with FN-2199, as he was in Finn's squad. Instead, I believe Finn should either, A. try to convince "Nines" the First Order is is wrong and doesn't care, or, B. to justify his desertion. The scene would show that Regular Stormtroopers aren't just canon fodder, indicate that Kylo Ren is already near by, and give us another hint that Finn is very conflicted about the situation he's in(as in not wanting to kill his former comrades) and would resort to trying to convince another one to desert as well. All-in-All, I love that you've already given Finn better motives in this film and I look forward to your next video on changing his character in the next film.
Good suggestions. The fight with 2199 also shows us how much melee training Finn still has to undergo before the final battle. If he can't even take out a stormtrooper with a lightsaber, it makes the fight with kylo more suspenseful as you know he's out of his league.
I absolutely love the idea of Finn having to recover from his spinal injury in TLJ and grappling with trying to reconcile the loss of his marksmanship skills learned from the First Order but eventually finding restored strength and a new identity as he trains with Rey under Luke’s tutelage in Jedi lightsaber skills. Very much enjoyed this video and your perspectives. Finn was one of my favorite characters from TFA, and I agree that he had so much more potential than what was given to him in Ep. 8/9. Glad we can explore those possibilities here.
When The Force Awakens was just being marketed I honestly was excited for Finn and I really wanted him to be the hero and the Jedi of the trilogy not Rey. Finn was the character I wanted to see the most when TFA was marketed. While I liked TFA at the time (not so much now due to its sequels) I was still disappointed with Finn the character I wanted to see the most. Finn deserved more.
Rey seemed like she was going to be the tech that helped them solve problems and thus would've been an invaluable addition to team that way. Instead, they made Rey do everything. Nothing anyone else does from Last Jedi onward actually matters or helps in any meaningful way.
@Stripey Arse Exactly! All troopers - clones and non-clones - should be quite socially awkward because of their military training and brainwashing. It would be both funny and realistic.
I love it! You've fixed a lot of my frustrations with Episode VII (even though I enjoy that movie). Primarily, you've made Finn seem like an actual former stormtrooper instead of a guy who recently wore the armor to the Jakku Halloween party. I think, with Boyega’s comedic skills, he’ll still draw chuckles with your new specifications, but he’ll just be a little more consistent with his back story. Also, I like your idea of turning Luke into a Luke-style hero instead of an anti-Luke-hero. And your slight Rey modifications to make her just a tiny bit less all-powerful gives her somewhere to go in the next movie -- which I’m very much looking forward to. I think you’ve got a great second draft here, and we’re nearly ready to go into production. Three more requests: (1) Any way you could get us a Lando sighting in this first sequel film? He’s kind of a big deal. (2) Also, could you do something about the Han and Leia separation? I was very sad to see the prime romance of the OT broken apart. Plus, Leia sending Han off to likely get killed was extra hard to watch. (3) Finally, my biggest objection to that fun movie was its strange belief that it needed to reboot the biggest franchise of all-time with a redo of its plot structure. Most of us have seen the originals, and those haven’t won’t be any more confused by a new story than by a re-making of one they haven’t already seen. So, if you could take out the biggie-sized Death Star, etc., I’d be much obliged.
For the most part, this is amazing. I actually thought of a pretty similar idea as to your video. However, two key aspects that would be very prominent in the last jedi would be: a) phasma reveals her obsession with finn and how he is a protégé or son to her (similar dynamic to vader and Luke) which would make their moments together feel more emotional b) a twist that reveals that finn is of mandalorian blood. This would allow for more possibilities for finn to shine and could maybe lead finn to getting a saber that he can wield later in the rework trilogy. Also imagining John boyega as an awesome mandalorian gives me goosebumps.
Here's my idea for IX: at the third act of the movie Finn makes an speech on the middle of the battlefield to encourage the stormtroopers to think by themselves, turning a majority of them against the fist order officers, and fighting against the sith troopers. I think it will give Finn a purpose, make him and the other stormtroopers more humans, and it will also be a new and fresh finally, insted of "the good guys won" it'll be an "alliance between the resistance and the stormtroopers", and all thanks to Finn and his stormtrooper uprising. What do you guys think?
I agree-this would have been one of the perfect endings for his character arc. Once an uncertain deserter of the FO, he now inspires his former comrades to choose a better way...ah, what might have been!
That would honestly be pretty cringe and cliche. One rousing speech should not be enough to make a whole army of soldiers turn on their commanders and fellow brothers in arms. One motivational speeker shouldn not be enough to make them turn traitor on an organisation that they've been with since birth. That kind of development takes time and effort.
"The Finn Awakens" makes wonder how it sounds when ever "Force" becomes "Finn". "You must learn the ways of the Finn." "The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Finn." "Don't underestimate the Finn." "The Dark Side of the Finn is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be... unnatural." And of course : "That's not how the Finn works !"
To be honest, I would've really liked and possibly even enjoyed a story about a storm trooper turned jedi/good guy. Black white, asian, male female, idgaf and idrc, just so long as it's interesting. And so long as it's a well written story. And in this case I think they should've gone with finn as the main character. Imagine an extended version of that scene where we see finn defect. This time, we get a few scenes building up to it, and those scenes quickly depict his being taken from his family, then his indoctrination, and after that a cut to just before the mission. Where he talks to his class graduates, who are now ready to go to battle. That would be epic. We would get to see finn become something much more, and also he would have TONS more character development in that single film. It would've been great. Later we can realise he's force sensitive, and then him and Rey both can begin training under Leia. Once their training reaches a certain point, they would both with poe, go on a mission to find like skywalker. Now that is 10thousand times more interesting if you ask me.
It’s the introduction of Rose and her forced role in the story that ruined him. It should’ve been Rey and Finn meeting up with and training with Luke in TLJ. One student goes dark, one stays a Jedi.
I think it would be cool to have the one with a dark past go to the light, and have the one with the lighter past go to the dark. It’s like poetry. It rhymes.
It would be Awesome if it was Rey that went to the Dark Side and Finn went to the light side. It would have made the plot interesting especially if Rey defeated Kylo Ren in the 2nd movie and became a Sith in the process.
@Paul Langland It’s funny you say that, I literally wrote out a sequel trilogy with EXACTLY this! Course mine has Thrawn behind the First Order and ultimately ends with Yusong Vong (forgive my spelling) uniting the galaxy and Finn fulfilling Luke’s vision for a New Jedi Order that accepts non-force sensitive acolytes who learn the ways of the Jedi and fulfill new and different roles. Honestly though, it’s incredible the potential that was squandered. If they took a couple extra years, planned out an amazing sequel trilogy that pulled on EU, the shows, the PT and OT....they’d have a franchise that most fans would love and have the foundation to branch out with books, comics, games, and even shows.
Finn is a good character but poorly handled he had so much potential he could’ve been as loved as someone like obi wan him being the main hero would’ve been so much better than Rey he looses he try’s his best and looses he would’ve made such a badass Jedi imagine if he kept his storm trooper armor and wore a Jedi clocke or something him fighting Palpatine with someone’s help of course (Luke) imagine if he was related to mace and was his great nephew or something and he avenged mace by help killing Palpatine (he would assist but Anakin would get the final blow of some sort )anything like that so much potential smh he could’ve wielded maces lightsaber while Kylo wielded Anakins but no of course not
But yeah they really screwed over finn. And every other fucking character. "Oh let's use starwars to make a statement" if you fucking do that at least make the story interesting, LIKE LUCAS DID WITH THE PREQUELS AND THE POLITICS IN THEM. at least that furthered the story in some aspect. The sequels are a trash fire made for mindless zombies to consume.
Remember, though, that it's highly implied that the rare purple Kyber crystal from Mace Windu's lightsaber is the same one given to Mara Jade by the Emperor, which she used in constructing her own lightsaber. But that's not necessarily a problem; it would be a great way to include Mara Jade; she might recognize that Finn is a relative of Mace Windu and give him his family Kyber crystal and that would be so cool!
I love your version of Finn so much! You put so much more thought into his character that the makers of the ST ever did! Everything you suggest makes Finn so much more of a believable and human character!
My apologies, this maybe a bit long of a response, but I promise you’ll appreciate it. First, let me start by saying I absolutely love the version of Finn you’re presenting. Finn/FN-2187 was certainly one of my favorite characters of the ST, but was terribly under utilized. Your version is one I know could’ve directly related to. As a retired soldier who suffered a debilitating spine injury. I not only felt as though my life had changed forever, I felt as if I had lost my identity. Had we received the story arch you described, I know I certainly would’ve been far more emotionally invested into the character. Ironically I was going through everything right around the release of TFA. I’m definitely looking forward to your next installment of Finn’s alternate story arch.
I like it better, already. Especially the part where Finn has to make a whole new identity after getting a cybernetic spine (that really bothered me in TLJ). I look forward to the next installment.
Man, I think you're really onto something with this. Can't wait to hear the next part. I feel like there was plenty of room to have all of the new 3 be force sensitive and create really complex and in depth characters throughout but Di$ney went the cheap/easy way out and just wanted to print money.
This would have been a much better movie. I especially love your scene of him using Phasma to remove the shields then coming back to pull the evacuation alarm. Nice internal battle throughout.
So having a hard time picturing the different tone of finn's conversation especially in that first meet up section with poe as there chemistry was awesome. I do agree that a lot of the humour seemed to be misplaced to be with finn traditionally the domain of droids the humour is. Overall the direction you are putting out is good no doubt better than what we got, but as this movie set up finns's concept fairly well it is a bit hard to judge such a shift But i do look forward to the future episodes where we really see the direction you were setting up and the pay off.
The thing is that you don't need Rey in "Force Awakens" - I've already seen video in which Rey was written off from the plot and replaced by Finn and nothing really changed in the story. And I think that Finn should be like Teal'c from "Stargate" series; stoic badass who defected because he seen first hand how evil were his overlords.
I liked it, I think Finn in your version should have more moments to show how good of a shot he is to make the impact of him not being able to at the end of the movie
When you think about it, if Finn was written better he would've been the Disney equivalent to Legends Kyle Katarn. Both were stormtroopers who later turns to the rebellion. Both are force-sensitive human beings. Finn has "perfect main protagonist" written all over him.
I like it! Your changes make Finn a better character, with an actual character arc. In this movie he still does the same things, but we get a better look at what's going on inside him. I particularly like the way you treat his personality, with him being serious and unused to sarcasm because that's how he was brought up. It makes his decision to rebel more consequential, since disobeying orders is a complete break from anything Finn has ever seen or done before. Like that was the first order he ever disobeyed, and it was a big one.
This was awesome, thanks and I'll look forward to part two. I can't wait to see where this cybernetic spine thing goes. Does such technology even exist in the EU? I mean a spine is a lot more complicated than a hand.
Really good, love it. In the end fight between Luke and Kylo I thought you were going to say that after Luke senses that Kylo killed his father, Luke's good friend, Luke...dealing with that emotion gets slightly bested by Kylo not that he leaves for fear of letting his anger hurt or maybe kill Kylo and Luke and Rey leave together and figure out Reys role. But of course you know what your vision is for these episodes and like I mentioned, really enjoy how what you've done here. Fantastic job! Looking forward to the next episode.
This is actually quite excellent. Having an actual meaningful story and character development for Finn is fantastic. It also introduces the possibilities for Rey to fail and for us to have empathy for her. I hope this theory leads to a three way conflict between light/dark/in between. Bring it on!
Finn had so much potential to be a great character, but he was just tossed aside in favor of Rey. He could've been like the canon version of Kyle Katarn, but sadly we will never get that. (And he honestly looked cool with a lightsaber) P.S, where did Luke come from?!
I really cried at this video. Someone explaining how much could be accomplished with this character breaks my heart. But as an aspiring writer myself. I'll try to do something like that. Find those characters I like but exploit that potential that maybe the other writers didn't see. Great work man, I normally don't comment but this video touched me so much I couldn't help myself.
With the most wasted potential of ANY of the Disney era SW characters, Finn deserves the care and attention you are giving him Thor. It’s a shame he was made to be comic relief.
Your analyses of the sequels are really similar to what I've thought of. I always wanted Finn's story to have more to do with his stormtrooper background.
Thor, when you said Finn's humor should come from being a fish out of water I said yes so loudly me co-workers looked at me funny. You are spot on as to how I feel about how his character should have been handled and I can't wait to hear more. I always thought a part of his story arc should be about 'saving' other Imps....persuading them that this life is a lost cause in the big picture and that would have translated very well for the audience in many lands and with many faiths while still being Star Wars generic enough to appeal to everyone. Man, I would love to talk some Star Wars with you!
Well done. I'd also have him grapple with that scene in TFA, where Finn can "hear" the voices of all the people in the Hosnian System cry out before they're destroyed. Maybe his time with the Resistance (and with Leia) will reveal he's Force Sensitive.
Dude!!!! Omg I made a post with the same picture to Boyega! Thanks for this video! Please keep doing these stories! I haven’t even finished this video yet lol.
I don't know how many times I've said this after one of your videos like this but damn your story is so much better. Having Luke show up like that would have been cool as hell. And Finn with a new spine and can't hold his hands steady , quality story telling.
Holy crap, I actually really love this! Finn's character gets flushed out, no Mary Sue garbage, and Luke's not a self-contradictory, cynical old hermit! I agree with other comments. This would be badass!
To go in a slightly different direction, after having watched "Cobra Kai", I can't help but think that the show is an example of what the sequel trilogy could have been. Think of it like: Danny LaRusso is Luke, and Johnny Lawrence is a former jedi pupil who survived 66 and is perhaps leaning towards a darker vision of what a new Jedi order should be. Perhaps could be a former padawan of Windu, or something similar. Heck, it could even be Luke and Leia with opposing schools. I'm just spitballing here. First episode could be like the first season of Cobra Kai, two opposing factions trying to rebuild the jedi order. One side is more similar to the Republic Jedi, the other is a bit more aggressive. Things are going more or less okay, but then at the end, BAM! Clone of Palpatine. Or just someone powerful and evil like a former apprentice of Vader/Palpatine joins in to help the aggressive side. Episode two could again, be like season 2 of Cobra Kai: now the darker jedi leader is realizing that they are turning into the Sith, but it's too late, their students have a new master. Leaders of both the schools have failed their students, and a new war is brewing again. Episode three could be where I think Cobra Kai is heading: The leaders of the two schools reconcile, merge their teachings, achieving a balanced school. One that is not so passive as the old jedi were, but not so aggressive as the sith are.
This is awesome so far. Finn was my favorite character in TFA and I wish they would have taken his story seriously. All I can say is that I'm super excited for this series!!
I really like pretty much all of those ideas. It's so funny that all we heard from JJ and Johnson were that they didn't want to just repeat what happened in the previous movies and what did they do? They turn around and gave us a superwoman who could do anything. The idea of a stormtrooper coming to grips with his new life and coming to realize that he has forced powers that he has to learn to use which can help him change that life is not only really interesting but it's actually something we haven't seen before.
One thing I would change is Poe's fate in FA, have him die instead of suddenly being alive despite the crash of the tie fighter or have another character be the one to give Finn his name.
Thoughts on your vision: The escape-Finn should know that there's a cable attached, therefore he wouldn't have to shoot inside...they could just take off immediately and then in space he would hesitate to shoot other ties or maybe he would know the tie pilots aren't Troopers like he was ...wiggle room there (love your accuracy addition to F's shooting, later on). Love the saber fight at the end-Kylo v Rey just like Luke v Kylo...both are just defending and not trying to kill. As always, your ideas are awesome and you pay respect/love to SW!
This is great! Way better than what we got. My only problem or plot that you didn't really talk on was how Luke gets to Starkiller. Then again, this series is focused more Finn so it's understandable.
They could have made Finn a competent fighter with the lightsaber from his years of training with actual weapons instead of Rey having managed with a long staff. It would make beating Kylo look a little more realistic or remove that and have the ground breaking away stop someone losing. Also his knowledge of the FO was down to mapping ships or planet bases, not the inner workings of the group. They could have used it more.
Finn should have been more like Teal’c in Stargate SG-1. Someone brainwashed into serving an evil overlord who breaks free and has to adapt to an entirely new world. Teal’c was hilarious and it was unintentionally as part of his character because he just didn’t understand so much.

I had thoughts a few years ago of what would have happened if Finn was a Jedi and him stopping the First Order with the help of Luke.
I feel like Luke's past and character was just forgotten.
These movies would have been so much better if Luke and his Jedi order were more involved have them take Finn in and train him as a Jedi
IKR
Giving Finn- the character with the most interesting backstory- an arc that shows how complex a character he could be? Wow...
They all deserved more.
Rey seemed like she was going to be the tech that helped them solve problems and thus would've been an invaluable addition to team that way. Instead, they made Rey do everything.
Nothing anyone else does from Last Jedi onward actually matters or helps in any meaningful way.
@@InfernosReaper which is dumb af and isn't how one should be doing storytelling. But that's what we got. And we ate it up. Then promptly spit it out.
Three more requests:
(1) Any way you could get us a Lando sighting in this first sequel film?
However, two key aspects that would be very prominent in the last jedi would be:
a) phasma reveals her obsession with finn and how he is a protégé or son to her (similar dynamic to vader and Luke) which would make their moments together feel more emotional
b) a twist that reveals that finn is of mandalorian blood.
Idk, thought it was cool 3 years ago, Edith way it’s still better that what we got @@en4833
"The Finn Awakens" makes wonder how it sounds when ever "Force" becomes "Finn".
"You must learn the ways of the Finn."
"The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Finn."
"Don't underestimate the Finn."
"The Dark Side of the Finn is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be... unnatural."
And of course :
"That's not how the Finn works !"
Underrated comment 👍
Dude this is amazing, soooo much better than what we got. This is what you get when a true fan of star wars makes your story!
Rey should have turned imo.
@@hveer2523 not funny.
@Paul Langland
It’s funny you say that, I literally wrote out a sequel trilogy with EXACTLY this!
Rey and Finn have no character and Finn had so much potential
Technically both did. Technically every new character did. Even poe.
But disney fucked it all over. Figures.
Bad writing, so much potential. If you see the first movie you see the ideas and a rising story line. And then it all goes to hell.
I always enjoy your Star Wars remixes. Looking forward to the rest of this one!
Finn is a good character but poorly handled he had so much potential he could’ve been as loved as someone like obi wan him being the main hero would’ve been so much better than Rey he looses he try’s his best and looses he would’ve made such a badass Jedi imagine if he kept his storm trooper armor and wore a Jedi clocke or something him fighting Palpatine with someone’s help of course (Luke) imagine if he was related to mace and was his great nephew or something and he avenged mace by help killing Palpatine (he would assist but Anakin would get the final blow of some sort )anything like that so much potential smh he could’ve wielded maces lightsaber while Kylo wielded Anakins but no of course not
Yaknow this comment had so much potential too, but it didn't have proper grammar.
;P
But yeah they really screwed over finn.
And every other fucking character.
"Oh let's use starwars to make a statement" if you fucking do that at least make the story interesting, LIKE LUCAS DID WITH THE PREQUELS AND THE POLITICS IN THEM.
at least that furthered the story in some aspect.
The sequels are a trash fire made for mindless zombies to consume.
Mr_H sorry for the grammar mistakes I was trying to hurry while typing most of it and true
Joshua Clabeaux yeah or imagine if Luke had it and gave it to him
I love your version of Finn so much!
Thank you for your service!
Liana Kriebel And thank you for your support, it means a great deal.
Imagine Finn and Rey as the “diad” and taking on kylo together I feel like that’d be so much better
tbh I don't think making Skywalker a villain again is a good move at all
Eh.
Louis that Would have Been AWSOME !!! . Better than what he got .
How about just no “diad” the Disney force just makes no sense.
@@dinogaming4419 Ikr
I like it better, already. Especially the part where Finn has to make a whole new identity after getting a cybernetic spine (that really bothered me in TLJ). I look forward to the next installment.
Man, I think you're really onto something with this. Can't wait to hear the next part. I feel like there was plenty of room to have all of the new 3 be force sensitive and create really complex and in depth characters throughout but Di$ney went the cheap/easy way out and just wanted to print money.
This version>the actual version
This would have been a much better movie. I especially love your scene of him using Phasma to remove the shields then coming back to pull the evacuation alarm. Nice internal battle throughout.
So having a hard time picturing the different tone of finn's conversation especially in that first meet up section with poe as there chemistry was awesome.
I do agree that a lot of the humour seemed to be misplaced to be with finn traditionally the domain of droids the humour is.
Overall the direction you are putting out is good no doubt better than what we got, but as this movie set up finns's concept fairly well it is a bit hard to judge such a shift
But i do look forward to the future episodes where we really see the direction you were setting up and the pay off.
That was awesome Thor. Loved it. I hope we get to see Finn training to be Jedi with Rey
I love the ideas. And I love that you have Luke showing up at the end. I’m excited to see the next videos in this series.
I like your version, especially Luke showing up at the end, that's what I had hoped would've happened.
I truly enjoy the sequels. However. Your take is extremely compelling. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
This is very good. You said subtle changes, so I'm curious to see what you do in the next movies
I love this; I couldn't have done it better myself and I'm looking forward to the next one!
These ideas were great. Looking forward to the ideas in the other movies.
We should have finn’s big moment is a storm trooper revolution
Man. Great ideas, Thor. I wish this was the movie we got. Ep 8 should've opened with Finn and Rey training with Luke...
This was awesome, thanks and I'll look forward to part two. I can't wait to see where this cybernetic spine thing goes. Does such technology even exist in the EU? I mean a spine is a lot more complicated than a hand.
I don't think it does, but stuff like metal exoskeletons does
Really good, love it.
I would love to see more of this and hope you continue with this and will check in for more of this
This is actually quite excellent.
(And he honestly looked cool with a lightsaber)
P.S, where did Luke come from?!
Him holding the lightsaber just looks right.
I love the changes you’ve made Thor! Bravo 👏
With the most wasted potential of ANY of the Disney era SW characters, Finn deserves the care and attention you are giving him Thor. It’s a shame he was made to be comic relief.
This ten minutes of you talking had more emotional tension than the entire sequel trilogy
anything would be better than MaRey Nobody Palpatine "Skywalker" Sue
Very good video and much much better than the original version we got to see. Thank you and looking forward to the next video.
Your analyses of the sequels are really similar to what I've thought of. I always wanted Finn's story to have more to do with his stormtrooper background.
Its honestly amazing how different the movie (hypothetically) becomes with the simple change of him sticking to his own backstory
The Force Awakens was okay, I agree with you that it was The Last Jedi where things went downhill.
I like this revision a lot. Better writing than in the movie 👍
Ive seen these movies once each so its easy to have my own head cannon, this is a welcome addition
This was awesome. I can't wait for part 2.
This is awesome. Can’t wait for the rest.
I like the changes. I would make the second film about him learning to use the force to make up for his reduced agility and weapon accuracy.
Would have been cool to see a Finn / Phasma rivalry over 3 movies.
Great job, I look forward to the next part.
THOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
That part about the Stormtrooper aim was perfect!
Thor...
It’s been a while since we’ve gotten another great fan fic from you in awhile. Sure hope we get one some time soon.
Like what you've got so far. I enjoy the scene with phasma and activating the evac alarm.
Finn before rescuing Poe; "I don't want to kill anyone."
Finn after rescuing Poe; "So anyway, I start blasting."
Amazing corrections! I want your versions of movies! :)
This is the kind of video I originally followed you for
Which, if I remember correctly, was in your first few months? Do youtube content creators have a way to view subscribe date?
One thing I would change is Poe's fate in FA, have him die instead of suddenly being alive despite the crash of the tie fighter or have another character be the one to give Finn his name.
Dang I can’t wait for the next part
My goodness this was good! They need a love button for videos.
This improvement of Finn improves the whole film. Nice work Thor👍🏻
Wow... that’s just so much better than what we go. Like damn. I wanna see this!
It would have been better .
I’m guessing the answer is better
This is great! Way better than what we got. My only problem or plot that you didn't really talk on was how Luke gets to Starkiller. Then again, this series is focused more Finn so it's understandable.
I really enjoy your rewrite. Keep going.
I liked TFA but when she beats Kylo that was my first indication that something wasn’t quite right.
Finn should have been more like Teal’c in Stargate SG-1. Someone brainwashed into serving an evil overlord who breaks free and has to adapt to an entirely new world. Teal’c was hilarious and it was unintentionally as part of his character because he just didn’t understand so much.
Indeed.
