Audrey Chang yea sorry but that’s never gonna happen. We said the same thing about 90s fashion in the 2000s and now everyone is walking around looking like they stepped out of a 90s fashion magazine. Besides 2000s fashion wasn’t as bad as you think. The real clothes real people wore weren’t as out there as the media likes to depict.

They totally missed the fact that leggings were extremely popular in the 80's, too, and worn with long tops and tunics (with shoulder pads). What I love about fashion now is that you can wear almost any of these styles. I love that freedom!

Why do I feel like the 1950’s always has the cutest fashion? It’s so classic and timeless. Even though it was 70 years ago, the styles are similar to the way people with “vintage style” dress now. Cute capris and a floral dress are still very common.

That first 1920s pants is gorgeous!
Pants for women (at least in the US) have a history much earlier than the 1920s! During travelling trips, especially on harsh overland trails women wore pantaloons, basically a knee length dress with wide legged pants underneath! (Dresses + horses + the American West did not mix well) And this was around even in the 1850s. (No criticism here, just some fun facts!)

They emulated mens pants, but they started getting smaller/not included to have the form fitting look mentioned with the 60's pants; and also to make women buy expensive bags/purses.

I was an extremely young kid in the early 2000's (4,5,6) and I remember wearing the track pants and the 90's jeans (although I wasn't born in the 90's) that every time it rained and I was walking outside the bottom of my jeans would get soaked all the time and I remember my mom had to roll them up for me
