Robin's voice was so unique but he was so animated. His voice brought me to The BeeGees and I never left. I always enjoyed when his voice was highlighted in a song, "For Whom The Bell Tolls" . I understand that he asked that this song be played at his funeral. He was so cute. RIP Robin

Mo and Barry are wonderful too, but I fell for Robin. His voice is amazing in a different way from everyone else’s. Rest In Peace Robin. You are truly loved and missed. ♥️🌹♥️

Although quite emotional to watch it strengthens the song even more. It is definitely worth checking this song out.

People took him the wrong way. He laughed, others cried, he cried, others laughed, out of synch with the rest of the world. How many times have we all tossed and turned in bed from saying something inappropriate? To me the song says, do we see people as they really are or as we think they are and are things we say misunderstood. I was the biggest fan of Bee Gees from the get go! I saw them in concert in 1969. I was a freshman in college and a guy that I wasn't really interested in, got tickets so I would go out with him...and then we dated for about a year!

Now that you've seen Robin singing it later in his career, with a more matured voice, you deserve to see a (very) young Robert singing it with his youthful voice. The original studio version sounds brilliant, but I have seen footage of them performing it on television around the time of it's release, and it's just as good! This would be one of their earlier hits from the 60's, before they became the kings of the 7o's.
