This is their stunning masterpiece from the 1975 main course album, with Barry Robins and Maurice perfect high pitched falsetto harmonies and amazing blended in 16 audio tracksperfectly mixed by Karl Richardson & Legendary Arif Mardin. As Barry told their instrumentally most complex and a beast of harmony song, but it is for sure one of their best jewels and praised in two interviews from McCartney and Quincy Jones as the best RnB ballad they ever heard.
With all due respect to you, of all the girls who react to music videos you are the most charming of all (and if you react to the immeasurable genius of the greatest group there has ever been, the Bee Gees, even more so)
Hypnotic. When this song came out I would turn the lights out in my room, plug in my headphones and just chill out. I would listen over and over again.
Each Gibb brothers 's voice were so unique and beautiful...🎉❤Maurice's deep sexy voice was beautiful...of course I personally love Barry's incredible voice much..Robin's unique unforgettable voice was also beautiful...wow no words....❤❤
Great reaction I’ve been a Bee gees fan from the beginning and attended a Bee gees live concert in Las Vegas in 1997, They were phenomenal live, also no auto tuned or enhancements to make you sound better in them days, just pure talent, did you know that Robin and Maurice are twins? !
A lot of the melody is Barry and Robin singing in unison and as Maurice said, though they had very different voices, being brothers, their tones blended as one to create a fourth voice for the band. Love the duelling falsettos of Barry and Robin @5:30, each one going higher. All three had amazing voices. Maurice had a more baritone voice but often sang the high harmony. Harmony to him was like breathing is to other people and he was THE musician of the group. They never performed this live because it was too complex with many vocal overlays in the recording. They were three very different people. Even the twins were complete opposites, Maurice very outgoing and Robin an introvert. All the brothers had great senses of humour. Barry said Robin was the funniest man he ever knew. What are the odds of so much talent in one family?
I really like these older videos that feature the performance. They make you listen to the music rather than distract you. IMO. one of the best of their songs.
I love them, I love them, I love them! Please, react more Bee Gees, they are the best! You must react "One", "Alone", "I Could Not Love You More", "Dearest".... There are so many wonderful songs from Bee Gees! 😊
@OlavityMusic Fantastic song. One of my favorites! I don’t see these in The Bee Gees playlist so put these on your list to do: LOVE YOU INSIDE OUT (they only have the audio from the 70’s) lead: Barry LOVE SO RIGHT (there is a lyric video from the 70’s) Lead: Barry YOU WIN AGAIN (official video from the 80’s) Lead: Barry TRAGEDY (video from the 70’s) Lead: Barry NIGHT FEVER (from the 70’s) lead: Barry JIVE TALKING (it’s a short video but packs a lot. Done in the 70’s) Lead: Barry MORE THAN A WOMAN (lyric video from the 70’s) Lead:Barry If you want to feature ROBIN, since he’s your favorite…you might want to do MASSACHUSETTS (live from 1989) BODYGUARD (official video) KISS OF LIFE (official video)
Robin has captured many hearts along the way. You're right that he is adorable. His voice was vulnerable. If you'd like to hear more songs where he's singing lead, check out some older songs like I Gotta Get a Message To You - video Massachusetts - One For All Tour AU or early video How Can You Mend a Broken Heart - video For some later songs you would love For Whom the Bell Tolls - video in NY Alone (Robin's part in this one is a heartbreaker) - video You Win Again (this one too - his part is just gorgeous!) - video Some other good songs of theirs in general include early/middle ones like these Run To Me - video To Love Somebody (Barry lead, and Mo does a bit of falsetto) - video Words (beautiful song, Barry on lead) - video Nights on Broadway - Midnight Special Jive Talkin' - video or MS
You need to hear Maurice, man in the middle and more. Also look at them as children, the three kisses, wine and women xxx love your reactions to these amazing brothers ❤
This is one of my fav era of Bee Gees. More Bee Gees!! Try some later tunes like "I Surrender" or "My Lovers Prayer" or "For Whom the Bell Tolls" (if you haven't already). Thanks.
My fav Bee Gees song. /// Song is rather short. Could easily be longer. /// Bee Gees continued to write & produce for other artists long after their run ended.
Um, they are all three great, but talk about handsome & sexy, have you seen their brother, Andy Gibb?! Just as talented too. See him perform live on The Midnight Special, he had a big solo career❤
What is the best Song by the Bee Gees? The next Song 😊 .You want more Robin? Then check ,,Rings around the Moon,, and ,,My lovers prayer,, believe me you had fun .Best wishes. ❤❤❤
Hello Olavity, This is my favorite song by The Bee Gees. I really miss the height of the Bee Gee era. I can’t even explain it to you. Have you heard Andy Gibb? He’s their baby brother and the girls went crazy over him. Andy was a celebrity crush for the girls. Sadly, he died at a young age. Try this one by Andy: ruclips.net/video/VkNeoTcGwrc/видео.htmlsi=lyPyp9lJfY8-xwAB
@@SVT293 - They were Manx born, never took Aussie citizenship, always had British passports and none of them ever returned to Australia to live once they returned to the UK. (Lesley lives in Australia). Barry said he didn't want to go to Australia but he was only 12 and had no say. Robin thought, although they started out there, Australia never supported them enough nor did it have a big enough music scene to get them worldwide acclaim so they returned HOME to get in on the British Invasion started by The Beatles. Robin lived primarily in and eventually died in the UK. Only Barry took dual UK/US citizenship. They considered going to the US from Australia but were of draft age for Vietnam. They did like the Aussie climate and compared it to Florida.
What a lot of people don't know is that in their earlier music it was Maurice who had the really high voice that you hear in the background. I feel that Barry and Robin hogged the limelight and that Maurice was pushed into the background as a backup singer. Maurice did have the "carefree" personality so I guess that he gave into his brothers wishes. When he did have a chance to sing as the lead he always seemed to be given the drab songs. Such an amazing man with a brilliant sense of humour and an amazing voice. By far my favourite Bee Gee.

This is my favorite of all of their songs, best harmonies ever.
Always been my favorite song of theirs. The harmonies are so magical and dreamy.
Rick, yea my fav song too! Did you like Karen Carpenter?😮
@@michaelasay8587 I did. Much moreso when I was younger.
@@rick5440gosh I listen to her almost everyday…her music saved my life as a kid from a belt yielding father.

Robin Gibb ❤❤❤ my absolute fave all the way through the decades. And yes i was eyeballing Robin the whole time too lol.
Nice reaction lady
