This was recorded and released in 1967 and is off the " Horizontal " album . This really does prove they all have great voices . Another wonderful reaction . Thankyou !!
God rest dear Robin, he had the voce of an angel. The Bee Gees were so talented making and writing so many wonderful songs and now, there's only one brother left. So so sad.
Another live Bee Gees song you would love is For Whom The Bell Tolls. 1993 outside in NYC with the Statue of Liberty in the background. Cold and breezy day, but it doesnt even affect their amazing vocals.
Totally agree with you. That version is NYC is the best. Robin's vocals are so mesmerizing. I cannot get enough of Robin. I play that version over and over again. He looked so gorgeous in it, too. Sigh...
This is where I came in You win again Night on broadway For whom the bell tolls Closer than close (Maurice singing lead) Man in the middle (Mo singing lead)
I was a young man of 23 when this song came out in 1967 and it has been my all time favourite along with “ How can you mend a broken heart. They will never be another group to equal the Bee Gees. Lovely to see young people enjoying their music. Happy listening.
You're getting into the BeeGees very best music. It's not as well known as their Disco sound they later had huge commercial success with, but these early songs are higher quality song writing with more emotion.
Great reaction. Yep, you didn't pause because the song, and Robin's vocals, are that good! When Robin sings, it stops me in my tracks and just have to listen to that hauntingly beautiful voice. React to For Whom the Bell Tolls (the version in NYC in the winter 1993). Robin's vocals will really blow you away and that's another one where you won't pause it either.
"The Bee Gees - Massachusetts" It doesn´t get any better than this! Suggestion: "The Seekers - Massachusetts" (Great cover version). Thanks Mia! For an amazing "The Bee Gees" reaction video.🙂
Give Robin's classical recordings "Titanic Requiem" a listen to from start to finish. He was working on the recordings while extremely ill with his son. It ended up being his final release and the entire requiem (or Mass) is a modern day masterpiece.
Loved Robin Gibb, he should have had more lead vocals with the group, Barry took too many of those leads and I really liked the sound of Robin's voice.
This song was written and given to the SEEKERS they were also from AUSTRAILIA but for some reason the SEEKERS management wouldnt let it happen so BEE GEES recorded it thereselves . Later though asa respect to the BEE GEES the seekers made a cover . 2006 .
No. They themselves stated they had never been to Massachusetts when they wrote this song. They were in Australia still in ‘65 and did not experience the blackout in the American northeast.
This is a beautiful performance but I’m a shallow person and all I can focus on is how hot Robin is here. He got a lot of ridicule in theBee Gees early years over his buck teeth. He’s had some work done on them by this time but he’s still got a noticeable overbite which I find incredibly sexy with those gorgeous, full lips of his. I’ll turn things back over to the grown-ups now.
Treat yourself to watching a whole concert either From Las Vegas or from Austrailia. You will be swept away my dear . Bee Gees are music for the soul
Robin back in the day was their lead.. but then Barry came out with the Disco Faulsetto voice. my gosh they were amazning
I get goose bumps listening to them,
It was a better world when Robin and Maurice were alive.
I Believe Every Word Richard 🙂
Robin had an amazing voice
After all these years from around 1969 it is still one of my favorite Brothers Gibb tune!❤
Their FIRST hit song!
This was recorded and released in 1967 and is off the " Horizontal " album . This really does prove they all have great voices . Another wonderful reaction . Thankyou !!
No autotune,all talent
Robin's songs are so warm. Very comforting.
My beloved Robin Gibb.❤❤❤
God rest dear Robin, he had the voce of an angel. The Bee Gees were so talented making and writing so many wonderful songs and now, there's only one brother left. So so sad.
I love that you post your thoughts on screen instead of interrupting the song like a lot of other reactors!❤
Probably my favorite from them. All their songs are great
Agree! Beautiful song👍😎👍
You just can't beat the harmonies that can be achieved when you've been singing together since you could all talk.
I have the DVD of this event. They are all looking their sexiest BEST in this concert!
Another live Bee Gees song you would love is For Whom The Bell Tolls. 1993 outside in NYC with the Statue of Liberty in the background. Cold and breezy day, but it doesnt even affect their amazing vocals.
There's also another live version from the same year at the Royal Variety that actually is a better quality upload.
Totally agree with you. That version is NYC is the best. Robin's vocals are so mesmerizing. I cannot get enough of Robin. I play that version over and over again. He looked so gorgeous in it, too. Sigh...
❤Robin my fave!
Great song choice Do Itt Miaaaa, the Bee Gees were world class singers the song ONE you will like.
Another great song. These brothers are so talented. I love them all so very much. Their music is such a blessing to listen to. Great reaction!!

It's a must to check'em out with a medley, they've done on the same concert! You'll be mesmerised!
I was a young man of 23 when this song came out in 1967 and it has been my all time favourite along with “ How can you mend a broken heart. They will never be another group to equal the Bee Gees. Lovely to see young people enjoying their music. Happy listening.
My fav bee gees song incredible storytelling
I'm glad you listened to their sound before the falsetto disco era.
They r one of the best bands ever they wrote lots of songs for other performers aswell .
I really like the comments that you put on screen, to make us think a bit more while we're listening.
Their warmth and realness are legendary. Terrific reaction 👌
You're getting into the BeeGees very best music. It's not as well known as their Disco sound they later had huge commercial success with, but these early songs are higher quality song writing with more emotion.
Beautiful harmony
They had a younger brother that was just as great Andy gibb
Yes and sadly he's gone as well, Rip Andy, Maurice and Robin thanks for giving us your amazing talent 🙏
Thanks, Mia! My Man Robin... so unique and beautiful... as they all are -- I appreciate your listen and look forward to more...
They are responsible for more hits than any group or singer ever, ie performing, writing or producing.
Listen to BeeGees “ Tragedy, 1:40
just greatness!
Check out And the Sun Will Shine from their 1974 Melbourne concert. One of Robin’s best and most beautiful vocal performances.
Yes! And The Sun Will Shine, and Country Lanes!❤❤❤
Great reaction. Yep, you didn't pause because the song, and Robin's vocals, are that good! When Robin sings, it stops me in my tracks and just have to listen to that hauntingly beautiful voice. One of my all time favs... My Uncle Jim sings this amazingly... he was 18 when this came out.. I wasn't alive yet
Thank you for not pausing. At last, a real appreciator of great music.
Loved Robin Gibb, he should have had more lead vocals with the group, Barry took too many of those leads and I really liked the sound of Robin's voice.
That’s Robin singing lead. I love this song. “Alone” is great too…but they all are…
Great reaction Ms. Miaaaa !!! keep it up.. always brings me joying watching your reactions !!!! keep it up. much love and peace
Pre disco era, Bee G's have gone thru so many musical phase's, they actually have an Instrumental piece, "Seven Seas Symphony".
Maurice plays the piano with a full orchestra. When it was recorded, they had one false start, then did the recording you hear in the next take.
Love 💞
Linda Rhondstadt- "Long Long Time"
