So grateful for your contributions! I struggle with finding enough time to practice due to a number of things. Your lessons are straight forward, and VERY well described. THe clarity helps me to have joy in picking up my mandolin and practicing something new!
Thanks, Baron. That's a nice option. I like to use that C in conjunction with the basic C when I stay on the chord for a while. Going from one to the other changes the voicings.
Interesting! That's close to the F chord I use, so will come in handy for some of the John Prine stuff I attempt to play (key word is attempt). Thanks!
As a beginner, can you please have separate videos explaining music theory for beginners? What exactly is a note. What are the notes on the fret board. Then explain the chords separately based on their notes. Thanks for all you do!
Great explanation! I lean heavy on theory and my ear for increasing my skills. I should find time to practice more... By the way, your advice for the strings on my Fender Tenor has been great! I should probably order some more pretty soon. LOL

Thanks, Baron, I tried this on Big Sciota and it worked great. Love your lessons.
