I really didn’t want it to be a sock in the pump, but it was, so I watched this video and now my washing machine works again, I’m very grateful to your for showing me how to fix it :)
Thanks for sharing. I have a kenmore stackable and the maintenance dude couldn't fix it. I got in RUclips and found this. Simplified. Easy to understand and follow the narration. Thumbs up , subscribed 👍
THANK YOU SO MUCH Sam! I also had a sock stuck in the drain pump. Your video showed me how to disconnect the hose properly and gave me the heads up about taking care of the water inside the tank first!
Tnx for your tutorial, hey mine goes through the complete cicle but my clothes still come out soaked wet, i did replaced that draining pump but still doing the same, any advice please. Mine is a GE washer/dryer combo space maker. Same pump.
MR SAM U R THE SH*T VERY INFORMATIVE RIGHT TO THE POINT AND YOU REALLY HELPED ME FIND OUT MY SITUATION I WAS HAVEING NOT ONLY NOW BUT IN FUTURE PROBLEMS I WILL COME ACROSS AND I WANT TO SAY KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BOSS MAN! THANKS AGAIN
I will be working on one that is full of water, and the water won’t drain and the renter states there’s a smell of burning. I’m assuming a sock or similar item got ingested inside the water pump. My concern is how long the motor may have been locked up or stuck. Have you dealt with an issue such as this before? Could the washer motor have been damaged during this described issue I am having?

That washer needs a good cleaning. You did a nice clear job of explaining the problem.
Great video. One correction. It's not the sock that knocked off the belt. The belt comes off when the spin cycle is lopsided.
Thanks for the great video! Would be helpful if you had a Amazon link to the replacement pump. Thank you!!!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME YOU ARE A JACK OF ALL TRADES
This video was very informative and helpful and easy to understand
Thanks, Sam! Hope I gotta sock stuck in the propeller! Hahaha.

Very helpful, thanks! especially showing how to reattach those impeller clips
Thanks for showing how to get the water out with a vacuum!

Wow...awesome video...thank you!!!!
Mine will fill up with water, but that’s it. Would that be the agitator & the drain thing? Or just the agitator? Or vice versa?
I have this same washer dryer setup & it’s not draining on the “normal” cycle but it drains perfectly fine on the “delicate” cycle… what gives?
How much is the labor to do something like that i am out of the states and i have this issue??
Hi, SAM I HAD CHANGE THE DRAIN PUMP, TIMER AND LID SWITCH STILL NOT WORKING. ANY ADVISED?

My washer is clogged up do you do house calls 😀
Oh no, You need a new neutral drain!
Great info. Thanks!
Thank you
Thank you! Saved my ass.
How much to have someone do this for me?
Maytag washer not working
Pretty sure dd washers aren’t supposed to spin drain. Check the neutral drain pack and the transmission.
What causes water to remain in the bottom of the tub out of sight?
