Hi. One use case that's important for me is that when shooting video the focus not go crazy. We have a band, and then switch to a speaker. What's the best alternative to the ZV E10 with an EVF? I was almost going to get the ZV E10 but when I tried it (even indoors) at the store, I realized I'm going to absolutely hate having to frame pictures through an LCD screen and not be able to put my eye up to the view finder. I'm mostly going to record long form video on a tripod (half hour to 1 hour long videos) indoors but I did want to be able to use it to take good pictures as this would be my only and first APS-C camera to do everything :) If the ZV E 10 had a viewfinder, I would have bought it in a heartbeat as the other negatives (rolling shutter, build, weather sealing, missing IBIS, etc) doesn't matter as much but the missing EVF is unfortunately a deal breaker. The camera is the same - but the L comes with a 16-50 lens and the Y comes with the 16-50 AND the 55-210. Same camera - different lenses in the package.
Talking about live streaming... How are you ready to go? I use to plug in the camera (sony AX33) to atem mini or to elgato camlink via hdmi cable and reacord straight to ecamm live or obs and is not needed to capture to an SD card. Is that possible with the ZV-E10 or any other A6 series? I know that all these cameras have clean hdmi output, but I don't know if you can simply turn on the camera and be able to shoot continuously as a Webcam, either recording to a live streaming software, either making teleconference via zoom, messenger, viber etc. That's very important to me and it would be useful if you could tell me which are the settings of doing so. Thanks for your time and congrats for your style and your simple set up
Yes - your old setup with the ax33 will work just fine with any of the Sony mirrorless. There is no need to capture to SD card. But the ZV-E10 has a newer feature for the Sony system - You can simply connect a USB-C to the camera and select the USB streaming option in the menu and now your computer will pickup the camera. It does only output in 720p though, so if you want to move up to 1080 or 4K for streaming, you’ll want to go through a capture card like an Elgato Cam Link.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis moving up to 1080 or 4k through capture card (which I own) it just needs to have the camera turned on, without press the record button? Yes - if you don’t use picture profiles, go for the a6100 if it’s less than half the price. Don’t buy a gimbal yet, go for lenses first. Save up for the Sigma 16mm f1.4. You can find those used a lot too. Just set up on a tripod. if you do a lot of walking and shooting, you will need to look into the gimbal to get stable footage - but wait until you get used to your camera, and decide on the lenses you need. because the weight of the lenses with the camera will help you determine which gimbal to buy. You can upgrade your camera body later if you ever need to.
Hi, this is a pretty old video but I hope you can help me anyway I’m an absolute newbie and want do start instagram again. Now I’m looking for a budget camera for good selfportraits (and makeup pictures) The more I’m searching, the more confused I get 😵💫
It has more and less too. It really depends on your needs. I have a G7 which is the older g85, and I get great stuff out of it. But this Sony has autofocus that is amazing and the G85 is terrible in that regard. The G85 also doesn’t do log or HLG profiles - so the sony can get much greater dynamic range. The G85 has much better stability out of camera. This Sony can give better image quality and it’s better in lowlight and has great autofocus. The Sony has more to offer in 2021 unless you want the G85’s great in camera stability and a viewfinder.
I've had both and the M6 Mark II is much easier to use, better for stills, and has better video quality out of the box, IMO, but the ZVE-10 is capable of much more video quality than the M6 Mark II if you are willing to work with it a little bit and want to film in 4K. I think the M6 Mark II has better 1080p quality, as well as better, affordable lenses because native Sony APS-C glass is either mediocre (like the 20mm f/2.8) or tad overpriced (like the 24mm f/1.8 or 35mm f/1.8 OSS), IMO, but native EF-M glass includes some real gems, and you can use excellent, affordable Sigma glass on either. However, at the end of the day, I prefer full frame for stills, and so ZVE-10 wins for me because if I work with it a little bit, it has great video quality for its size and that's what I mainly want out of a crop body that I'm going to use more for video than for stills.

Get the ZV-E10 instead, you can take photos, you just look at the back screen. plus, you can use Catalyst browse to stabilize your video with the ZV-E10. Unless you can find the a6100 at a very cheap price, I would choose the ZV-E10. But if you take a lot of photos, also look at the a6400 because it is weather sealed and has a viewfinder. any of them can be great, but the a6100 is limited because you don’t have picture profiles for video so you can’t use Log or HLG which you may want to use as you grow with video.

What will be the best lense for zv e10 with good background blur for gym videos?
@@Abhinav.3290 Sigma 16mm f1.4
Can I use external flesh on ZV e10
yes
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thanku
Love from India can you make a video on how to stabilize quick with the combination of zv e10 and sony sel16 mm f2.8
Best to use catalyst browse software or get a small gimbal like the Zhiyun Crane M2S
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thanks buddy
You have given deserving respect to tiktok 😂
🤣🤣
Hi, this is a pretty old video but I hope you can help me anyway
I’m an absolute newbie and want do start instagram again. Now I’m looking for a budget camera for good selfportraits (and makeup pictures)
The more I’m searching, the more confused I get 😵💫
the a6100 would be great for that. Look at a nice portrait lens like the sigma 56mm 1.4 for Sony E Mount
Man, I ordered mine on Amazon on August 8th, said it was going to be released 8/31, now says I will get it 9/14. Amazon, you’re killing me.
that’s the worst!! I got lucky here in Canada - but they’re all back ordered now until the Oct 22.
Well whoops I bought the a6100 and did not know about the zv e10. $500 new though.
a6100 is great - and better for photos with that evf
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis it's great. I also considered a6400 for video. So that would have been worse. Btw I don't use the viewfinder :P
After you have hit 1000 subs, things have started growing a lot more??
Yes - but I think that has more to do with people being interested in the new ZV-E10!! 🤣🤣
Panasonic g85 ?? How about that in comparison...it has more than sony zev 10 at the same price....
The Sony has more to offer in 2021 unless you want the G85’s great in camera stability and a viewfinder.
i'm more interested in what beer you drinking because it looks yummy
Samuel Adams Boston… “apple juice” 🤣🍺
God forbid "tik tok"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sony 6400 vs zv10 one line answer sir
For me - it’s the ZV-E10. But others may prefer the a6400 - I did a video on it - ruclips.net/video/SfTfCpRcsoE/видео.html
Can you review the Samsung Smart Fridge already 🤦🏻♂️ Still waiting one it 😂
Hahaha. No zebras on the fridge - I can’t use that as my primary camera. Maybe a B-Cam
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis It has twitter installed so you can send your photos the the ceo of twitter. 0.o
@@EddyHerreraCC nice!! Preordering
I was liking zv10 but found out that has no flashlight.
pop up flashes are not used on many cameras - much better to go with a separate flash when needed. the ones on camera produce a poor result.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thanks man. Is this better than a6100 for cinematic video?
Ok, I kept quiet as requested………But I feel this series will have more episodes than Seinfeld 🤣
What is the deal with the new ZV-E10 🤣🤣
Ha! Can you please do a comparison to every camera. I’ll keep watching 😂
@@rogerdodger689 working on it. Coming up - ZV-E10 vs Hasselblad!! 🤣🤣
Excellent. I was tossing up between the 2. Look forward to it. Thanks mate!

God Forbid Tiktok 😭😂
You should compare the zve10 to to the m6 mark ii
Thanks, I’ll look into it!!
comparaison with the Canon m50 mark to really soon 😉
@@maximeescario5180 working on that one already!!
@@mbvgliderI just got home from buying this camera, I Did a Video Test and here's the video the link. ruclips.net/video/sPybvxIV86E/видео.html
it doesn't look all that good to me out of the box. should i return it and get the m6 makii since it's better out of the box and easier to use?

Review without the camera 🤔
not a review - comparison of specs to help people know the differences. lots of vids on the channel of camera reviews
6100 a 750 dólares en mi pais
😂😂😂 THe ZV E10 Channel
do these two have the classic Sony issue of overheating and shutting down? Because literally nobody said that about the A5000... and I had to find out myself
no - these cameras are great - no overheating in moderate temps

Get the ZV-E10 instead, you can take photos, you just look at the back screen. plus, you can use Catalyst browse to stabilize your video with the ZV-E10. Unless you can find the a6100 at a very cheap price, I would choose the ZV-E10. But if you take a lot of photos, also look at the a6400 because it is weather sealed and has a viewfinder. any of them can be great, but the a6100 is limited because you don’t have picture profiles for video so you can’t use Log or HLG which you may want to use as you grow with video.
