📸What kind of camera do you want?

👍
Bro gift me that a6100 bruh ❤
Love from 🇮🇳 ❤
Don’t have it anymore bruh
No
Great review! Simple, informative, and focused on the main features a video camera should have. Thanks.
No problem! 👍
Thanks for this helpful video. For future editing videos, my vote is for Davinci Resolve.
Thx! 👍
Such a helpful video! I'm going to pick up the zv e10. For video editing, Lumavision on my iPad.
Nice! 📸
Dude! Thanks for this video, super helpful! 👍🏻
Glad it helped! 😉
Informative video! what do you think i should get for my first camera...i've been eyeing the nikonz30 for the last month or so. but i am a huge fan of sony. but i also want to take pretty good pictures as well. primarily i want a camera for filmmaking, but i also want the ability to take a pretty good landscape photo, edit it, and post it. so out of the Lumix G85, zv-e10, and the nikon z30, what would you suggest?
I personally like the Sony cameras the best. But it also depends on your budget because there are better options for what you’re wanting.
First, I am SUCH a fan of your channel! As a video notice, I have learned so much from you and the content you share, so THANK YOU!
Regarding your question, what camera to buy for filmmaking: I own an online yoga studio and am leaning towards the Sony ZV-E10 to record yoga practices to later share with clients. There are several features of the ZV-E10, like no recording limit, that's appealing over my current Canon. However, even after watching your videos (and a few others) comparing options, would you recommend the ZV-E10 videoing yoga/fitness based content, where the camera is stationary but the individual moves? Thanks so much for your insight!
Yea, it’s a fine camera for that. Just make sure you get a wide enough lens to capture everything. If you record in 4K and edit in 1080p, you can also zoom in on the footage and won’t lose quality.
@@CamberFilmSchool Thanks so much!
👍
Omg I hate jelly roll on the rolling shutter.
But I love your dolly zooms. I wish I could do that. 😊
Just need a zoom lens & a slider.
Which of the two cameras would you recommend to also tackle product photography?
I'd go with the zv-e10 still.
Hey, which will be better from these three - Sony Zv-e10, Sony a6400 and Canon r50 for recording dancing tik toks/reels, taking pictures of myself and other people. Like equally taking videos and photos? And thank you very much for video.
I’d go for the ZV-E10
@@CamberFilmSchool thank you!
You’re welcome! 👍
Nice, but my choice is 6100 for better Photography and 4K videos, also metal body with looks premium quality
How would the a6100 give better photos and videos? Both cameras use the same sensor.
Thanks. I also noticed the newer one is also USB C.
Yea, that’s definitely a bonus too!
Which would be better for food / product photography?
Depends on if you want to have an EVF. I personally like the ZV-E10 better. It’s newer and has more features.
Hey bud. If I may ask, what software do you use to edit your videos & pictures. Thanks
I use a MacBook with FCPX for videos and photoshop/lightroom for pictures.
Man i love your videos! I wanna make short films and can afford only 1 lens. Should i go with the kit lens with zv e10 or buy only the body and then purchase a lens? 😅 I need that blur cinematic view like we see in films. Can you suggest me a lens?
I would definitely go with just the body and get a better lens. I’m actually editing a video right now comparing the quality of a cheaper camera with a good lens and an expensive camera with a cheap kit lens (spoiler: the cheaper camera is better). I can recommend a lens but depends on your budget.
@@CamberFilmSchool nice man would definitely watch the vid. Budget is less tbh, anything that's low price I mean whats the least budget best lens according to you?
@rahilehan9406 I have to know a dollar amount. One persons “budget lens” is $1,000 and another’s is $100.
@@CamberFilmSchool 300 dollars Max man. I'm a student 😅
@rahilehan9406 I would suggest saving up a bit more and getting this Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 ( amzn.to/3MgVriD ) to go with the ZV-E10. If you’re wanting to make short films then you’ll need a quality lens, and this is the cheapest one I’d suggest that’ll give you good quality. Otherwise you could go with some like this 30mm f/1.4 ( amzn.to/3SjCpvT ) which is also good, but you’ll be stuck with only being able to use that one focal length for all your shots.
Given that the a6100 prices have dropped below the ZV-E10 at this time, do you still recommend the ZV?
Yes, it has a lot of newer/better features for video. Plus the fully articulating screen is WAY better than that tilting screen on the a6100
I was wondering the same thing
Price is probably dropping because newer, better cameras are coming that will be at the a6100 price point before it dropped.
Can i use zv e10 for Film making?? Or should i use a6100
You can use either. I think the ZV-E10 is better.
I’m looking to shoot music videos would the a6100 be fine for the those type of videos ? Great video btw
Sure. Just get a quality lens (not the kit lens that comes in a package deal with the camera) and some good lights.
I Use Final Cut Pro X
Its a good program!
@@CamberFilmSchool it’s very good. Better than any other ones I’ve used. I’ve used window movie maker for mac and it was terrible.
I’ve never tried that one.
I’m leaning towards cinematic field more like depth and Nolan style price for both cameras are about the same which one do you prefer tho?
ZV-E10
Hey, I'm about to buy a new camera but I'm really confused between these two mostly I'm going to do street photography and food photography and might do videography as I want to learn color grading please let me know your views on which camera to buy
Depends on if you want an EVF. Like I said in the video, I prefer the Sony.
Hiii do you have a comparison video between Sony hx99 and EV10?
No, I’ve never used that camera. I typically only deal with cameras that have interchangeable lenses.
I want to become a filmmaker, and I'm planning to buy the Sony ZV-E10. I saw a comment where you recommended the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 lens. Can I use it for the long term, without having to buy another lens?
Yes, as long as you’re using an APS-C camera. If you upgrade in the future to a full frame camera, then you’d have to get a new lens too because that 18-50mm is designed for aps-c size sensors.
Lumix g7 or any of the budget lumix cameras under $1000 or the sony 6100?? I need it for music videos, vlogging and some what crisp pictures
I prefer the larger APS-C sensors over the micro 4/3 of most LUMIX cameras. The lens is going to do more for you than the camera in terms of good quality.
Which camera is more better for street and portrait photography 6100 or zv e10 and nikon z30?
Depends on whether you want to have an EVF. I personally like the ZV-E10.
I’m a beginner n don’t know which camera to buy
I was looking into a r50 or zv e10
But someone suggested the a6100
I like the ZV-E10 much better than the a6100. It has many newer features.
If I wanted to go one step up from these what would you recommended.
I guess it depends on how high a step you’re willing to take? What’s your budget?
@@CamberFilmSchool I don’t have a set budget maybe 1500 approximately
@jamietyler4099 since the mark 2 version was recently released, the a7C ( amzn.to/3N4y9gs ) has dropped from $2,000 to $1,600 and it’s a HUGE step up from these cameras that’ll last a long time.
What's better for stabilization heard the 6100 is trash for that, does the other one have that? If so I am canceling my order on the A6100 for ZV-E10 instead.
The ZV-E10 might have slightly better stabilization, but I wouldn't rely on it for stable footage. You're going to want to have some kind of tripod, monopod, or gimbal, etc...
@@CamberFilmSchool Okay thank you I purchased that cam and just got a tripod off amazon for $70 hope that does the trick, also brought the Tamron 17-70 lens for it... Thanks again and for an awesome review.
@KeeksToonzReact good luck! I also have a cool video on tripod tricks for video that may help you out: ruclips.net/video/pAvn034VcCg/видео.htmlsi=GX9sA7kRhgRo9nBi
Hi, which one would you prefer for architectural photography?
Can’t really help you there because I focus on video. I’m not sure what all your photography needs would be. If you need an eyepiece, then probably the a6100.
I want to buy a camera for mainly street photography. Which one should i get?
What’s your budget?
I want both good photo quality for landscape photography as well as good video quality for Vlogging, which camera is best for me? Please suggest me.
What’s your budget?
@@CamberFilmSchool $800
@kridackgaming2026 the ZV-E10 would be good for that. But I’d also suggesting saving some and buying a quality lens like the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 ( amzn.to/43Bsp4Z ) rather than using a kit lens if you want quality video.
sony zve 10L 4k 30 fps camera vs sony a6100L 4k 60 fps which is best for film making?
You can't really compare that because you'll get a totally different look. If you're filmmaking, you probably want to be shooting at 24 fps regardless of the camera. I only use higher frame rates like 60 fps when I plan on using a clip for slow motion.
Which is the best camera for film making under 700 dollars?
ZV-E10
Thank you. To the bone.
You’re welcome. 🦴
Please suggest if Lumix G85 is worth it compared to both these cameras. Sure, it has a smaller sensor and mediocre autofocus but it does have IBIS and is cheaper. Does G85 also have this rolling shutter problem?
I wouldn’t pick a camera with ibis over good autofocus. All cheaper cameras are going to have rolling shutter issues. I personally wouldn’t go with a Micro 4/3s camera.
@@CamberFilmSchool Thank you for replying. Makes sense. You have made my decision easier.
Glad to help! 👍
Out of curiosity, why wouldn’t you go with mft for filmmaking?
@@FR-13 I was thinking multi-purpose. Both stills and vidoes of nature, animals etc. I don't have any major use of low light videography or portraits.
Can we customize our a6100 (c1) button
To a puase and resume button
??????????
I’m not sure. Just scroll through the customization options and see if it’s available. I don’t have the camera anymore.
I am beginner,
Please tell which one is good for me this will be my first camera ?
I prefer the Sony ZV-E10: amzn.to/3L0YmuM
how do they compare size wise? are they both 'compact' with their kitlens? I'm looking for one that is compact for travelling quick pics and video with a kitlens. But also to use for good quality filmmaking with a gimble and bigger lenses on occassions.
They’re pretty much the same size. I think you’ll enjoy to ZV-E10 better for your purposes with traveling. That fully articulating screen makes a big difference.
Considering the jelly like imagining. I'm looking into a budget camera for workout videos for my platform would you suggest any of these or a different camera:)
Depends one what your budget is cause “budget” varies greatly from person to person.
@@CamberFilmSchool budget for me is definitely below 900 euros :)
Really, just using your cell phone with some good lights is plenty for something like a workout video. Get a little mic you can attach to yourself for better sound and sync it with your video when you edit.
thank so much! I really want to try to make it more prof so that`s why I want to start with a camera. I have tried my phone but it doesn`t give me what I want. I also have good lights and a mic so I`m ready to go. Just need to decide on a camera. Ive been eyeing a secondhand a6400 would you choose that over the ZVe10? I just saw the comment below of the online yoga studio so i`m in that same set up. It would mostly be stationary.@@CamberFilmSchool
Either camera is fine. I prefer the fully articulating screen of the ZV-E10. Plus it’s newer so it’s gonna have some newer features.
Bom dia meu amigo, não consegui entender muito o vídeo, porque meu inglês é fraquinho😅. Estou em dúvida entre qual comprar, quero para fazer vídeos de casamentos e aniversários. Qual é a melhor?
I’d go with the Sony ZV-E10. But if you’re going to be shooting weddings, then I’d suggest getting a better camera with more features. What’s your budget?
Essas duas estão no valor que posso, mas não vou fotografar, só vídeos mesmo.
Aqui no Brasil o valor é alto, 7 mil reais.
Then I’d go with the Sony.
sir what lens are you using. for best video
There’s no single “best lens” for cameras because the focal length changes the way a shot looks a lot. But any lens with f/2.8 or lower is going to help with better quality. Prime lenses that go down to f/1.4 will be the best. What is your budget and what kind of filming are you doing?
I want to do more photography than videography which one you suggest?
Depends on whether you want to have an EVF. I like the ZV-E10 better overall, but I also don’t care about being able to look through a small viewfinder for pictures. If that’s something you’ll want then I’d go for the a6100.
@@CamberFilmSchool screen will be visible enough to take photos in sunlight?
It typically is for me.
Omg what a beautiful little girl.
Thx! I totally agree. 😍
Hey,I'm about to choose zve10 but there is no view finder in it and I like to shoot images by looking in the evf ... Is this a major drawback or is there an alternative to this?
It’s a drawback if you feel you need a viewfinder. I personally prefer the touchscreen for photos because it’s way bigger. The a6100 is a good alternative if you want an EVF.
@@CamberFilmSchool I was thinking a 6100 as my second choice. Thanks for the reply!!
@dharbaneshcharan8432 👍
Which lens did u use for sony zve10
I use multiple lenses depending on the situation. Is there a certain shot you’re referring to?
Can u suggest lense for landscape videography
For the zv-e10? And are you wanting really wide shots? Or zooming in on stuff in landscaped?
@CamberFilmSchool yes for zve10 and normal landscape photos not too zoomed in not too wide angle
What’s your budget?
Which one is better out of Sony zve10 or canon m50 mk2 ?
Definitely the Sony. The Canon M50 & M50m2 both have WAY TOO MANY video limitations.
Recording limit in zv e10 ?
However long your battery lasts or sd card lasts if you have an external power source.
hi brother
can i use sony zv1 for shorts channel
i want to start a hydrolic press asmr channel with some good quality external mic
btw its internal mic is also on point as fas as i know from other videos
what you say it can do the job?
Sure. Just have to turn it sideways to get the vertical video.
no bro was asking about the video quality yoo said it's a small sensor.
but it should not be a problem beacause we will fil that area with two lights. right?
2nd: i am wondring i should by a expensive mobile with 2x or 3x optical zoom rather than a zv1 because its high end camera phone it should work fine what you say?@@CamberFilmSchool
i am talkin about simple zv1 25 to 70mm not changeable lens@@CamberFilmSchool
Any camera will look good if you have the right amount of light. Video is all about capturing light, and make people don’t use enough light or shape it properly to make it look good.
okay so it means the expensive mobile phone with some optical lens that has a good videography can do the job also.
here is the simmiler channel in my niche www.youtube.com/@besthydraulicpress5138 @@CamberFilmSchool
Does the Zv come with a lens or without lens?
You can get it with a kit lens, but those aren’t very good.
@@CamberFilmSchool would the camera work without the kit lens?
It has to have some kind of lens whether that be the kit lens or a separate one you buy.
@@CamberFilmSchool Alright so it won't work without the lens.
And shall I purchase the Samsung S Ultra series for photography and videography or the Sony ZV?
@ravibhatt7 the ZV-E10 is going to give you way better quality than a cell phone.
Best camera/lens combo for 1k?
What type of videos are you planning on shooting?
@@CamberFilmSchool studio videos, and some light photography for real estate
@adaytorene270 I’d go for the ZV-E10
@@CamberFilmSchool that’s what I ended up going with thank you!
👍
hii, m from india,,can i use zv e10 with 50 mm 1.8 oss lense for cooking videos ?
You could, but your camera will have to be pretty far away. I’d recommend something like this Sigma 16mm f/1.4 (amzn.to/3rup2hq). If you let me know your budget I can give you some better suggestions.
my budget is 20000 ₹ for lense
What currency is that?
@@CamberFilmSchool indian
Then I’d suggest just saving up some more and get that lens I linked in my first reply.

do these two have the classic Sony issue of overheating and shutting down? Because literally nobody said that about the A5000... and I had to find out myself
I think fewer and fewer Sony cameras are having those issues. If you’re trying to shoot long 4K outside in the summer heat in direct sunlight, you may have issues.
