Series Notes:
Several episodes in this series have been recorded in advance. As a result, it may take a while for me to adopt your comments/suggestions in my gameplay.
Playstyle Notes:
It has been over 5 years since I last played Factorio so I'll be coming at it much like a newbie.
I have a relaxed playstyle and I try hard not to overthink things.
I strive to play frustration-free, casual, and relaxed.
I tend not to like super-compact factories and usually layout my factories with plenty of extra space.
I'm not concerned with perfecting machine ratios in every scenario.
I'm in no hurry to finish the game. I enjoy the journey waaay more than I enjoy reaching the destination.
I typically don't make heavy use of blueprints, though I will likely have some. I'm in no hurry to do so though.
Comments and suggestions are welcome, but try to keep in mind my preferred playstyle.

Pressing the left 'Alt' key will toggle display/hiding of an icon for contents of an object (e.g. chests)

Hey Glidercat :) have you seen that a huuuuge new update went live for Sunkenlands yesterday ? its great ! :)
The video for the update looks fantastic! I'm just super overloaded at the moment. So many games I'm interested in are just now coming out or are getting huge updates. I do want to circle back to Sunkenland. I didn't get to play it nearly enough in my last let's play.

@@AManatChaos yeah already checked with steam. I just recently got Snowrunner and played a lot of it so I kinda forgot when it is supposed to release
Factorio: Space Age is launching on the 21st of October.
Those bugs will be fine for a while. They should not attack till your pollution cloud gets to them. You will have plenty of time to build up your base to be able to defend it.
Looking forward to seeing the new content! Just a couple of weeks ago I started a new play through so I'm hoping existing game will be compatible with new version?!

I'm looking forward to the new content as well, but it does take quite a while to get to it if you're starting from scratch, like I have.
I haven't heard whether or not old saves will seamlessly work with the Space Age expansion or not. One would hope so, but I haven't heard.
What do they mean by native 'may' not appreciate
Overall, the natives don't want you there, but they do admit to enjoying some of the destruction they bring to your base.

@@TheNoldaz I don't know. I think some of them like the new opportunity to hunt and destroy now that we've arrived.
You never see them fighting among themselves so how/why did they evolve to have so much aggression and battle tactics (i.e. toxic spit)? 😺
