It's hard for me to describe, but I found a few gold asteroids in the area shown here: ruclips.net/video/NfkRLc9EfMc/видео.html In the video at this time mark (15: 04 ) you can see one of the gold asteroids near the middle of the screen. I believe there are more scattered around the map, but it takes some exploring to come across them.

I'm pretty sure the wand crafters will work with whatever materials they have available. You have virtually no way of controlling how the gems and sticks match up so you don't really need to think about it. I believe the value of the wands is derived from the value of the stick and gem that went into making it plus a significant bonus over and above what those ingredients would sell for individually. On the top right of the screen, there is a button called "Open Catalogue". That will open a screen that lists every possible recipe for wands and what they are worth.

@@Glidercat ahh okay :) it just seems that like 90 % of the time the wand crafters dont do anything at all and just stand there idle lol

They need to have both sticks and gems available to do any crafting. On the left, if you click the bottom button for "Crafter Upgrades", you might see another button labeled "Toggle storage fences". This will prevent gems and sticks from being sold individually and force these materials to be used for wands. If you zoom in, when you toggle that button you should see a wall appear just in front of the cart train that goes off screen to sell things.

@@Glidercat ohh.. thats neat ! i thought the toggle storage fences was there to not waste gems mostly. as in there was no place for them, you toggle storage fences and then they can be stacked higher = more room for gems :D So it would be silly to NOT have them toggled on at all times, right ??

There are two kinds of Storage Fences. One type is for the Crafters and it keeps gems and stick from being sold before being turned into wands. The second storage fence is for the Grinders. That one determines whether or not you want resources to spill over (right and left) to other Crafters. The storage fence for the Crafters I leave up, and the storage fence for the Grinders I leave down.

I'm going to be shoring up the power soon and I'll build at least one of the big batteries. 👍

@@Glidercat I switched them all to the large batteries. Never an issue with powering remote items then.

I think you're probably right. I've played a few times with different strategies. As you expand and get hundreds and thousands of miners, one of the biggest challenges is keeping things organized and keeping the miners where you want them. In the past, I did try a strategy with fewer rails that were spaced out. It just got tough to manage. For this playthrough, I'm trying a strategy that I think is going to make it very easy to scale up and not have chaos. It won't be quite as economically efficient but it will be a lot easier. With the new upgrades that give you bonus materials, I think we're going to be fine on the cash front and we can always sell off the rails when we're done.

That's no surprise. I hear all the time how viewers end up buying a game after they see me play it. Every time I hear that, I always wish I could at least get some tiny sales commission! 😺 The updates that you've made to the game since I last played are nothing short of awesome. I'm really enjoying the new features and the moose seem better behaved and a bit more predictable then just 7 months ago. Keep up the fantastic work!!!

Shut up and take my money

Believe it or not it's actually several times more massive with the recent update. However, the update brings a **ton** of new changes. There are 8 new infinite researches, even more research items around reducing the price of items (rails, carts, etc.) and their upgrades. There's also new equipment for the moose miners to make them dramatically more effective. I'm really loving everything the developer has added since I last played.

@@Glidercat i know all that and i agree, its great for the game for sure :D just started a new game because of your video here hehe :D i play it from time to time, until i get bored but i always seem to come back to the game after some time :) right now i have booted the game up and its running, and in a moment ill leave for work and just let it play by itself lol.. wonder how much money i got when i get back :D

@ How did you do? I'm currently holding off on huge expansion and instead pouring a lot of earnings into productivity upgrades and upgrades to reduce future costs. @@Glidercat tbh im unsure how im doing haha :D i only got around 130 mooses. i seem to not earn enough to keep up with rail lengths.. so im playing a bit blind cause im very unsure as to whats effective and not :D i try to focus on moose upgrades and get them to max lvl's. Before going in and buying the + max xx upgrades etc.. so basicly im just goofing around and having fun :D

@@kimsebimse6603 Well, there's no wrong way to play. My strategy is evolving as I play more, but what I've been doing lately seems to be working great in terms of keeping things from getting too messy or chaotic. I'll be explaining that strategy along with how it's evolving in the upcoming episodes.

If you have a production line that operates slowly, but still has a surplus output, you can opt to store up those surplus resources in the event they'll be needed in larger quantities later for a new product you're not yet making. I believe I used them for that purpose in the past.

Overall, I'm really loving Astrometica and I can't wait to see how the game develops as it makes it's way through Early Access. There is great potential for the game to have a ton of content. The formula of the game just works very well for scaling up the content, IMO. We'll have to wait and see how much they decide to put in. I found the upgrades within the game to be meaningful, welcome, and well-timed in the gameplay. There's definitely a good feeling of progression in your efficiency in things like mining, and exploring. There is a story in the game and it's revealed through a series of data logs you come across from people who were there before you. I tend to dislike games with a heavy handed story. For me, they often make a game feel linear. I prefer having the freedom to explore and do things In the order I choose. The story in Astrometica is there and it's fine. I particularly like that it's not obtrusive. You can choose to read the data logs or just quickly skim through them and keep moving. In contrast, I found the story elements of Techtonica to be way more intrusive and distracting to my gameplay. Each person will have their own preferences in this aspect. I last played Subnautica 8 1/2 years ago back during it's early Early Access and there was absolutely no story in the game at all back then (which was fine with me). Astrometica has some similarities to Subnautica and other games in that genre, but it really is a different game. It's set in space and so there aren't a bunch of fish or other wildlife around you. It shares a lot with other recent games set in space as well such as Space Trash Scavenger.

@Glidercat Glidercat thank for such a long reply , I have the game whitelisted really it's just a matter of ..when , however unlike you I'm not a huge fan of unfinished games, mainly because I want to replay after a major update so waiting makes more sense , I get I agree intrusive dialogue in Technomcia was annoying in fact, I ended turning off voice dialogue, light touch is better for me
