here is a nice little trick: all of the apostel promotions are stored in a list. if you pick one out of the list via promotion - it wont come back until you picked every promotion out of this list (this is the reason why you never get the nice promotions ever again if you picked them early). So you can just take all the trash promotions first and literally every apostel after this will be created with only strong promotions (just dont pick them and buy more strong apostels)
Yup. It's the reason I always take the extra turn to pick a trash promotion before using my apostle to launch an inquisition or upgrade my religion. Chaplain, Heathen Conversion, Indulgence Vendor, and Martyr all have their uses (in particular, chaplains are excellent when you're warmongering, and martyrs are good for people seeking culture victories) but in a religious game where every apostle counts, you want debaters, translators, and proselytizers as your main force with orators and pilgrims as solid backup.
Wouldn't canada be a fairly decent civ for this strategy? Canada is immune to surprise wars, forcing civs to denounce you first and wait 5 turns which gives you time to overwhelm them before declaring war and condemning your units will have any impact. Canada has more bonuses for religion than that as well due to the fact that the tundra can give really strong holy sites thanks to the aurora pantheon, allowing you to afford a fairly large number of apostles and missionaries. If the other players fail to catch on quickly and denounce you well in advance you can kinda just roll over the other religious civs if you convert them before they're able to start an inquisition, the only other real way to stop you other than declaring war, and doing so will give you an easier time to convert the other civs later due to the lack of competition. And because Candada ON PAPER has no real bonuses for religious play it's a very sneaky pick because out of all the players in the server they suspect could send an army of missionaries and apostles their way canada is definitely near the bottom of that list.
Most religious victories I've seen have been highly dependent on converting players through their military actions. Also helps that religious civ players tend to be militarily weaker and can be easily eliminated with tanks.

But you still have to interact with everyone, apply strategy for who and how to convert, and put a good bit of investment that allows others to counter play by investing more into military. One idea would be to remove the pressure loss from condemning heretics. Would make declaring war not an immediate no win situation.

Every civ in the game needs gold, science, prod, culture, and food, but not all civs use faith/religions (in fact most dont). Thus if you have to defend religious, you are automatically irrelling yourself. Furthermore, the number of religions that can be founded is limited, so you can't even defend yourself if you are late to found one. Side note: they already removed negative pressure from condemning

I feel like religious victory is more viable now, simply because people don't expect it. If more people will start pursuing it, it's going to become impossible if multiple people in the lobby are going for it and contesting the wonders to boot. Ultimately, religious victory can become one of the win cons players choose to pursue if not faced with enough opposition for it.

can you make a video on T2 governments? T1 and T3 governments are typically very easy to identify when they should be gone for and which one you want for a given situation, while T2s are spread throughout the civic tree and have more esoteric bonuses.
With the way you speaks it's sometimes hard to tell when you are joking or not in situations like this for example 7:38. Fez giving 20 Science but on standard speed game so that's meens he gonna give 10 science per Population on online speed so it's basically the same no?
It actually grants 5 science per population on online speed in BBG. At 2:24, you can see that I convert a 14 pop city and gain 140 science and 70 culture. That's 5 science per pop from Fez bonus, and 5 science & culture per pop from my leader bonus.
There's other buffs they get that aren't explicitly for a religious win, i.e. Norway getting science for conversions. Think of someone in base game like Russia that gets a ton of use out of faith with lavras and tundra, which is exactly what bbg nerfs for them
Many of the religious civs in the unmodded game would be overpowered by BBG standards even without religious victory being an option. Base game Khmer has bonuses that are just overtuned to the point that, if you dropped it into BBG without any nerfs, it would be one of the best civs for pursuing science and domination victory, just on the basis of its incredibly strong fundamentals. If you want a frame of reference for what BBG's power level is at, some examples of leaders that are mostly unchanged by the mod are Hojo Tokimune and Poundmaker. Civs that are weaker than those are buffed (Netherlands, Georgia, etc.), while civs that are stronger than those are nerfed (Khmer, Gaul, etc.). Bare in mind that combat bonuses in the vanilla game are basically too strong across-the-board for multiplayer, so most domination-focused civs also got their combat bonuses hit in some fashion.
Religious civs are OP in multiplayer because Monumentality is fundamentally broken both in vanilla and partially in BBG: you can make extremely low investment in faith to get a huge boost in all other yields when you can faith buy settlers and workers, and this is also very early in the game. Therefore, civs that get a bonus from or is able to cheaply get holy sites has to be nerfed along with monumentality.
I'm very ambivalent about all the complex english words you use (example, "incredulity") ; it's annoying that I don't understand, but on the other hand I always google it, and the result beeing me learning new complex english words all the time, hahaha! Discount stacking is something that kind of disenchants me about the game, and makes me wish there were more flexibility about how modifiers stack. The fact that discount modifiers stack additively is pretty dumb
This victory is mostly possible due to the scoring method used to rank ppl in cpl. I really liked the idea of online civ but after trying it feels just as boring and way more tedious than beating the AI on deity. Just my opinion though. Thankfully I like watching ur videos that spares me sitting in a lobby for an hour and 4-6 hours of gaming for ppl to forfeit the game. Thank you for your service

While there is definitely an imbalance, I honestly don't think there really is a bad win con in Civ 6. It just depends on your civ/leader, and then having a solid strategy based on that.
