  • All about the dually in this video as we prepare for sled pulling season! We are restricted in our class to a stock turbo so we need all the airflow we can get. Plus we really need to get set up with some gauges especially EGTS. This huge 5in no limit intake should provide our turbo with all the air it could ever want. The cts3 with the expandable egt probe kit will get us all the data logging we need to make adjustments as needed.

    Hi guy, where can I get a list of all the gage numbers readings that I should have while I’m towing so as I can monitor them while I’m driving to get a first sing that something is not right, thanks can’t wait to see your next video.👍🏻

    I am interested in adding the fuel pressure and also coolant pressure on that monitor if possible. Any idea if that's possible to add or would it require an extra separate gauge? Gotta watch for those headgaskets ya know! Love the dually project, can't wait for some pulling action!!!!!

      Those both can be added, very easily with the edge 5v sensor harness and utilizing edge pressure sensor kits. I plan to add fuel pressure to mine.
      Thanks for be apart, there will hopefully be TONS of dually sled pulling action

    Just out of curiosity… could you share how you got the late model 17inch wheels on this truck? Isn’t this truck 8x170 stock?

    • @LeftLaneDiesels
      @LeftLaneDiesels  Год назад +2

      Check out “THE DUALLY” playlist!!!
      The truck started out as 2wd and I go over the 4wd 05+ axle swap and the adapter/spacers for the rear to run these 8x200 set up.

    • @scubasteve7946
      @scubasteve7946 Год назад

      They usually require a wheel spacer between the hub and wheel for clearance of the brakes iirc.

    do you run your ccv hose straight down?

    • @LeftLaneDiesels
      @LeftLaneDiesels  Год назад +3

      Yes straight down and then towards the back of the truck. In the next video I will be doing a full install including routing. No kinks and continuously going down.

      @@LeftLaneDiesels just curious I’ve always ran mine along the frame rail, but recently changed it just behind the wheel well and shorten the length of the hose a bit.
